2022 SEL AWD with Activity Package. 18k miles. Love this truck. Can't recommend it enough. Rides smooth like an SUV. The bed can haul more than you think. It's nowhere near the capacity of a full size truck. But easily done things like washer/dryer, 4x4 IKEA Kallax shelf, even did a king size mattress with some finessing
I have one and it’s a great daily driver…. But, it’s not a truck, it’s a SUV with a bed. It’s great on slippery snowy roads, great gas mileage and fast acceleration. This is not for Off Road. Most of us don’t go off road anyway
This is the exact same vehicle as the one I just purchased. The color and SEL package all the same. Love how this vehicle rides and drives. It has the naturlly asperated 2.5 and the 8 speed trans, and don't kid yourself it has plenty of giddy up go.
Are they any good cause my grandparents plan get one 😊there current vehicle Ford Focus Se Sedan and Ford escape S 2017 I do hope they get it 😊it about time get new vehicle my grandparents have 2003 dodge ram 3500 dually used for work truck
@@unknownwolf8555 My wife and I are in our late sixties and traded our 2017 Santa Fe Sport in for the 2024 Santa Cruz SEL and love it. My wife drives it everyday for work and I drive it on the weekends for the fun of it. Very happy with our trade.
I sure like the Santa Cruz SEL AWD. I was surprised with the paint, it really sparkles. The flat black plastic trim is fine for that trim level. Like the little vehicle figure molded in the top of each fender flare. The gauge cluster looks good. Overall, I think it is a nicely equipped vehicle for the asking price of $32,775.00. The only problem may be the engine with a lack of HP and torque. Thanks for the great review!
I have the activity package and I'm very satisfied with all the features. Only thing, coming from a small 4 cylinder Nissan Sentra, this does use more gas and it's noticeable, but expected as this is a much bigger vehicle, all in all, I love my 2024 SEL activity, I think it was the best level to purchase, if I had to be picky, I wish the blind spot cameras came with this package, but they saved it for higher packages which is a bummer, other than that, love this vehicle.
My grandparents thinking about getting one 😊my grandparents current vehicles Ford focus SE sedan and Ford Escape S 2017 They thinking trading or make payments
I am looking at the same vehicle in the California sand color, i don't see the button to disable the start/stop technology nonsense, i ALWAYS disable mine on my 2023 Tuscon SEL AWD, been thinking of this though, my Tuscon is paid for and they have 2 grand back now on the Santa Cruz SEL
The typically cheap made Hyundai Santa Cruz is rated at 22 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Adding all-wheel drive drops city and highway figures by 1 mpg. The turbocharged version has estimates of 19 mpg city and 27 highway. Compared to the 2024 Ford Maveric with 40 mpg city/33 mpg highway. Even worst the more versatile Ford Ranger gets 21 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The best in breed 2024 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid gets 24 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway! The much more versatile full sized RAM 1500 gets 22 mpg city/32 mpg highway! The way bigger GMC Sierra 1500 gets 24 mpg city/29 mpg highway. And both the RAM and Sierra are real trucks! Why in God’s name would anyone buy one of these cheap Hyundai lemons? Must be because of the great record Hyundai has in building engines 🤣🤣
Your comment doesn't hold water. First, you compare the 2.5 to the Ford Maverick Hybrid. Apples to oranges. Imagine the book value of a used hybrid maverick? Then, the Toyota hybrid. Again, apples to oranges comparison. The GMC Sierra has active cylinder management. Those systems don't last and end up costing the customers new engines because the lifter rolled over damaging the engine. Your Ranger numbers are not accurate.

@@unknownwolf8555 just trade in our 2006 Chrysler town and country van for 2024 Santa Cruise SEL 4 days ago. Still learning its features.
Just picked this exact truck up last week. I love it and yes it can really move. Never feels like I’m lacking in horsepower.

Concise ,informative , no spin.
Is it possible to install a tonneau cover on this model?
Nice job. Great presentation.
Thank you!

It's a valid concern but I haven't heard many complaints.

NIce video. How much extra for the roll up Bed lid???
It's included in the SEL Activity trim. It's not sold separately.
Give it the 1.6T hybrid from the Tuscon at the same price, and its perfect.
That would be nice!

The dealer told me the SC DOESNT have the SST that's why it doesn't have a button, i was looking at the SEL AWD but man that bed is SMALL
I'm holding out for the 2025 models...more flashy color options instead of the dull, "wireless" adroid/apple on all trims
Wish to buy but so scared by Engine transmission non stop recalls😢
The only recalls have been for the DCT here in the US. The regular 8 speed hasn't had any issues to my knowledge.
