For me, the SEL Activity is the way to go as there have been too many negative comments on the turbo's dual clutch transmission. Now if Hyundai would update the Santa Cruz website with 2025 ordering info. Thanks for another informative posting.
When I go to their website and choose to build a new Santa Cruz, all the accessories I add get changed to different things by the time I get to the end. I’ve used two different phones and multiple browsers as well as a PC and they all do the same thing. Very frustrating.
Yes, Hyundai lists a "Gray" interior with the same color code on the Limited. It will be slightly different material but likely the same color accents throughout.
Thanks for the video! I test drove the 2025 SEL Activity AWD and although I liked the exterior and interior upgrades the 2.5L non-turbocharged engine is weak. I literally had the accelerator to the floor while going up a ramp to merge into traffic. With that said, if you are okay with the lower HP and torque this may be a good choice for you. I decided to stay with my 2021 Honda Ridgeline.
@@robertsn6584 And the new ones are ugly as poop. The Santa Cruz has kind of taken over that body style. People give the origins to the first generation Ridgeline which I did love. But I think the original look came from the avalanche.
I test drove a SC Activity and it was a real good driving machine. It's not a race car by any means but has very good acceleration and great handling, both low speed city driving and hiway. It gets up to speed quickly and is very quiet.I was impressed with it.

@@tomvermeulen1082 Hyundai's website leaves a lot to be desired.

bro has no chill on these reviews, back to back!
Great video. Appreciate very detailed information and clear explanations.
I really like that interior color. Is it available in the Limited trim? Thanks for the review. I was really looking forward to this one.

@@CarsMadeSimple That's great. Thanks for all the info. It's been of great help.
The only problems with the duel clutch is in the Santa fe and the updated the software to fix it
Nope. 24 S.C. models still going to dealership with DCT issues and turbos not so much, maybe in about 40k 50k will the turbos go out
@@GBR1111-x2t they just sent out the update after july..you havto go and get through software update

Hmm does this trim come in red?
Unfortunately Ultimate Red is not offered on the Santa Cruz. Canyon Red (more Orange) is only offered on XRT.
@@CarsMadeSimple Ah, good to know! thanks!
Not a fan of the turbo or double clutch transmission, too much to go wrong. Thanks for this review, if I buy one, it will be this SEL activity.
It's a solid package with the updates. The only thing it's missing for me is smart cruise control.
Dang sunroof. 😠
