Almost everyone crying for poor poor Brutus Jr. but he does this to himself. He is a newborn for the most part and as new kid on the block he has to be schooled not only by his mom but by some of the troop especially the Alpha it happens to every new baby its like Dolly the Alpha dropping in to say hello and teach him just who she is and that the b!t#h in charge besides Alpha Male. Now whether he grasps it or not is going to be up to him and that's Brutus's problem he tries to keep this rebel spirit like he doesn't have to or want to follow her authority because he is such a sassy mommas boy who goes into hysterics when taken of mommas teat for 2 seconds and he acts like he doesn't want to hear it much less pay respects to those above him he's to busy being coddled and enjoying the milk bar problem is that's not gonna fly so when Dolly sees him acting like brat or unruly she swoops in snatching him up to give him a lesson but he keeps not being receptive butting heads with her and trying to do whatever at all costs to get back into moms arms and we see what we see him being shown over and over he is not calling the shots. Hence notice towards very end when Dolly threw him on her shoulder for 5th time he sat there lip smacking mom and Dolly moved away from her and he yelped but he sat in her arms for minute or two and then began inching down out of her arms slowly until almost to the ground and he actually checked her temperature to see if she was getting mad she wasn't cause he checked to see then he got on ground and kept looking back keeping an eye on her to see if he was gonna get in trouble so she let him go which she knew his mom had moved around so Brutus got over there mom was gone and he was pissed realizing mom had gone the other way and was on other side of Dolly so he threw tantrum and ran to Dolly attaching to her back very very smart. Cause mom was right there on other side but he waited and eventually after checking in with Dolly for almost 1 minute and half he then let go and ran into moms arms and off they went and this was only allowed BECAUSE he showed he wasn't the BOSS the mere fact he gave in to her authority then it was all good and he could go with mom. This and all troops have a hierarchy and respect must be shown to those higher up we may not see all the little things going on like this but trust me they are going on all the time right under our nose. Its a fact that lower ranking members in the troop are only allowed to forage on the outer parts of the troops area or home the upper members forage in the center where its safer from other rival troops and predators and the young ones baby's and juveniles are not supposed to eat until older adults are finished but sure this rule gets broken a lot but when caught they will pay the piper and I see it happen a lot. I also see when lower member like Donnie or Brutus walk up to Lori while she's eating fruit and they try to take some of it if Mom sees it she will make them pay. Just food for thought but Brutus needs to stop being such a whinny baby and get ahold of himself he is his own worst enemy right now causing himself hardship.

It's why they usually do it right at this age when they are pregnant. They have to wait until the baby gets big enough to defend itself and eat food. The small ones are too small to really eat things or get their own food since others will take it. Something small like a grape could also be too big for their mouth. 6mo upto 2yr is the bottle weaning age. That bigger baby is definitely weaning age imo. She needs to never let it have a bottle and everything will be fine. Kinda like she is doing in this video. The new baby must've came early

Kathy Sowles - I think it is because Jill feeds him 24/7. Nursing should drop down to 70-50%, have a set feeding time. By now he should be eating some soft solids, exploring his environment, putting things in his mouth, etc. He's not doing that & both Dolly & Sasha see that so they step up. Sasha has a softer hand.

You need to do a much better job on the story line for the day. Same with your endings, we never know what happened with them after you are done filming for the day or if something happens to them. Fill us in, we need to know too what happened. This makes a better story line for you at the beginning and then the end. Better story better video better fans better money 💰 for you too

And that’s why you see it so strong in adolescent and pregnant monkeys - sometimes strongly... as in duchess and possum and Tara... though there is rank involved there as well. One interesting theory is that kidnapping has evolvolved to weed out bad mothers... now consider Tima and also Blacky’s behavior with her first born Barbie. I think this troupe functions well

Almost everyone crying for poor poor Brutus Jr. but he does this to himself. He is a newborn for the most part and as new kid on the block he has to be schooled not only by his mom but by some of the troop especially the Alpha it happens to every new baby its like Dolly the Alpha dropping in to say hello and teach him just who she is and that the b!t#h in charge besides Alpha Male. Now whether he grasps it or not is going to be up to him and that's Brutus's problem he tries to keep this rebel spirit like he doesn't have to or want to follow her authority because he is such a sassy mommas boy who goes into hysterics when taken of mommas teat for 2 seconds and he acts like he doesn't want to hear it much less pay respects to those above him he's to busy being coddled and enjoying the milk bar problem is that's not gonna fly so when Dolly sees him acting like brat or unruly she swoops in snatching him up to give him a lesson but he keeps not being receptive butting heads with her and trying to do whatever at all costs to get back into moms arms and we see what we see him being shown over and over he is not calling the shots. Hence notice towards very end when Dolly threw him on her shoulder for 5th time he sat there lip smacking mom and Dolly moved away from her and he yelped but he sat in her arms for minute or two and then began inching down out of her arms slowly until almost to the ground and he actually checked her temperature to see if she was getting mad she wasn't cause he checked to see then he got on ground and kept looking back keeping an eye on her to see if he was gonna get in trouble so she let him go which she knew his mom had moved around so Brutus got over there mom was gone and he was pissed realizing mom had gone the other way and was on other side of Dolly so he threw tantrum and ran to Dolly attaching to her back very very smart. Cause mom was right there on other side but he waited and eventually after checking in with Dolly for almost 1 minute and half he then let go and ran into moms arms and off they went and this was only allowed BECAUSE he showed he wasn't the BOSS the mere fact he gave in to her authority then it was all good and he could go with mom. This and all troops have a hierarchy and respect must be shown to those higher up we may not see all the little things going on like this but trust me they are going on all the time right under our nose. Its a fact that lower ranking members in the troop are only allowed to forage on the outer parts of the troops area or home the upper members forage in the center where its safer from other rival troops and predators and the young ones baby's and juveniles are not supposed to eat until older adults are finished but sure this rule gets broken a lot but when caught they will pay the piper and I see it happen a lot. I also see when lower member like Donnie or Brutus walk up to Lori while she's eating fruit and they try to take some of it if Mom sees it she will make them pay. Just food for thought but Brutus needs to stop being such a whinny baby and get ahold of himself he is his own worst enemy right now causing himself hardship.

Wow! It appears that Mom did not wean last year's baby before the new one was born now she has double trouble! Baby monkeys hate being weaned. It's the toughest time in their little lives!!
It's why they usually do it right at this age when they are pregnant. They have to wait until the baby gets big enough to defend itself and eat food. The small ones are too small to really eat things or get their own food since others will take it. Something small like a grape could also be too big for their mouth. 6mo upto 2yr is the bottle weaning age. That bigger baby is definitely weaning age imo. She needs to never let it have a bottle and everything will be fine. Kinda like she is doing in this video. The new baby must've came early

Kathy Sowles - I think it is because Jill feeds him 24/7. Nursing should drop down to 70-50%, have a set feeding time. By now he should be eating some soft solids, exploring his environment, putting things in his mouth, etc. He's not doing that & both Dolly & Sasha see that so they step up. Sasha has a softer hand.

You need to do a much better job on the story line for the day.
Same with your endings, we never know what happened with them after you are done filming for the day or if something happens to them. Fill us in, we need to know too what happened. This makes a better story line for you at the beginning and then the end.

Amari did this as well... they are alphas and that’s their job. To make sure all the members of the troupe are behaving accordingly no slackers letting babies munch all day, not to mention eating in front of alphas (nursing counts as eating)... kind of like police. Some are better than others... I think Amari is better because she grooms as she disciplines. Sasha and Maria are just baby hounds... as is Jill ... and Ashley for that matter. Females are hormonally driven to nurture tiny babies... some more than others... like Jill and popeye. Those two are hovering around every newborn and mom. And Most of the pigtails I’ve seen love, want and beg to play Auntie. So there is an instinctual and hormonal element to it bc it’s necessary for survival of the species. And that’s why you see it so strong in adolescent and pregnant monkeys - sometimes strongly... as in duchess and possum and Tara... though there is rank involved there as well.
One interesting theory is that kidnapping has evolvolved to weed out bad mothers...
