I agree with you. Not all but at least 60% students are facing this . In current scenario due to recession so many people lost jobs and many graduates of 23 and 24 batch are left behind in placements with decline in intake for companies in india. Many students are planning for masters in 2024.

Advice to all incoming fresh graduates. This is not a right time, like this video explained. Gain atleast 5 years work experience and attain a lead role in India. Then use professional recommendationa from project directors etc and market yourself after MS. Even in MS do something meanigful and concrete than a namesake coursework. That is the only way to survive. Otherwise be prepared or you will feel cruahed. India has best oppurtunity to start early now. Us dream is a old fashion now slowly

it's getting harder to get jobs or green card so be very careful while making the decision to come to the US or have a good plan for what's next if it does not work out. Have no regrets and consider it another life lesson learnt. If government changes in '24 H-1B may also get abolished so have a good backup plan if coming to the US imo

But they are not understanding my words and blamed me that I am restricting them to come USA. So people won’t understand your words unless and until they experienced. Plz don’t take loans and go to USA for Education. If ur parents had good financial background, then only go for education. Indian economy is good, if u are offered job by US companies then go to US. Even in india there is struggle. I appreciate you for telling truth, but things won't be same with everyone. Please demotivate students who are coming. Skill, knowledge has a lot of appreciation, opportunities in United States. Getting job in india is also a huge a struggle. It's not easy.

Getting job in India is not a huge struggle if you can start with coding and understand completely there is no need of taking a loan doing a masters. You can get into a company and then travel on business visa all over the world. The company pays for your expenses.
If I have a startup in USA, I will recruit Indian remotely from India but not from US. So I can save lot of money. And one more thing he is not stopping anybody to go USA, He was saying what he saw and experienced in US. Don't get offended. He is just giving a heads-up to those who are living in dreams to wake them UP !

why do you think it's demotivating? it's the harsh reality. I told the same thing to a relative when he approached me for an advice a couple of years ago. He thought I was discouraging and demotivating him, and he came here to study. now the sad truth is he is jobless and he has to leave in a few months. He has a huge debt of 50L back in India that he needs to pay. My advice to everyone is, do your research thoroughly, come with a strong plan-b. I never discouraged anyone in the past before COVID, but now the situation is so different.
If someone is not having good technical and academic background it’s very difficult in USA to get a job situation is different right now, those who are not having good financial conditions then USA is hell for them right now

You have to go through a similar struggle even in India just like going to a new city like mumbai, bangalore or Delhi… I did go through something similar living in India for 2 years after my undergrad. The job opportunities in rural towns is limited and cities the competitive…check the unemployment rates in India. I have tried starting startups and tried finding jobs in my major but it was not easy. No one was ready even see my skill set because i was not from IIT or some prestigious university. I moved US 10 years ago to try my luck here. I had my own share of struggles even now

Hence IIT, NIT and government colleges push out best employable students. they discipline you to work hard and suceed in corporate. I teach at Bachelor's and Master's level in Singapore. What I noticed is as follows:
It's a big transition from Bachelors to Masters. Students from India find it a big challenge to do assignments at Masters level as it needs students to do research and come up with quality work. One needs to do a lot of reading from Journals, articles, case studies etc., these types of assignments aren't done at Bachelor's level hence its tough at Masters level.
Overseas uni exams are also not that easy, no straight forward questions or answers. Only one with understanding and application can do well.
Our education system at Bachelor's level must be aligned accordingly, only then it will become easy for students heading to UK or US or any other countries for higher education.

IT sector lo ups and downs eppudu untaayi. Prastutam baaga ledu. Basic reason why indian students especially telugu speaking students face problem is various reasons. No one while studying engineering in india focus on what skills are required to get a job in US. I have seen people who cannot speak basic english applying for hundreds of jobs. Technical skills ni oka paddathilo upgrade chesukoru. Java , .net, data science annintilo oka course chesi interview ki veltaaru. Many of them doesnt master in one area rather bits and pieces of all technologies.
