I love what she said, "You glow differently when you are fueled by self-confidence and self-belief rather than validation from others." An attribute of successful entrepreneurs, it's simply a by-product of the journey. Awesome growth!

  • @dereketnyre7156

Was surprised to see Mel here today - one of my favorite resellers. I’ve been rooting for Mel and her amazing book store :)

  • @insidestylists

I love Mel so much. I’ve watched her interview with you three times because it was so inspiring and this is now exactly the same. You guys cover such interesting and deep thought topics that you can’t help be inspired. Thank you both so much.

  • @sstamper1368

This came in at the right time for me. I'm only 10 minutes in and she's already talking about my death room. Going out and not processing items before going back out and buying more inventory smh. I definitely needed this because I've screwed myself over with this bad habit.

  • @2strive405

I can totally relate to Mel's position balancing work and a very hectic personal life (that only affords me about 4 hours/day) to work on my business) and that I have to make an income. No more just scraping by!

Hey tech could use your ebay positivity now. Feeling discouraged with Ebay. Just got 2 negative feedbacks one from a refund scammer and another who sells on Ebay. The seller/buyer is complaing about a hat shipped in a bubble mailer. Total setup. I knew it right way from the verbage ebay told me not to worry i did nothing wrong the buyer wouldn't do that. Sure enough they did. Other is trying to say item was broken for a partial refund but does not want to send back. Thats right they claim a $130 item was sent broken but they want to keep it then bashed me bad in the feedback and Ebays leaving the feedback. Its crazy. How in the world does that make sense? Thoughts

  • @anonymousone777

She’s a lovely woman. Very genuine. And tech on point, full of knowledge as always! Thanks for the great ep!

As a book reseller Mel was one of the few on RUclips that I could find and watch. Seeing her ups and downs and her overcoming all of it bit by bit with hard work really has been inspiring me to do the same thing to overhaul my own business.

  • @FlippedFoxFinds

Its always nice to see people follow through with what they say and show the process rather than just preach it.

  • @thriftflipfire3501

My dad used to say "money is made flat for stacking." My mum would reply "it's made round for going 'round."

  • @lynnhughes1308

Mel has always been an absolute delight to watch. I’ve been watching since the start when she had clothes in a clear plastic boxes in her garage. She has so much knowledge she generously imparts and such a hard worker. Multi talented with her you tube channel too and always shows up with a giggle. Moving homes and business locations is time consuming and I believe one of the reasons her death pile became so great was down to that. Just physically lifting all those books is hard work on a daily basis and if you add in the number of times her whole business has been uprooted and her home too. Being a Mum to 4 children albeit some are older and doggies, working so hard, being so determined to turn her business around all while dealing with serious home life challenges show the true grit and determination she has. Mel deserves every happiness in her success and it’s so lovely to see she has some great people around to help her reach her goals and give her the love and respect she deserves. Tech and Thom you both rock too ❤

  • @jessicarandall3066

I love this interview. She is always so inspiring. She is able to be vulnerable and also positive at the same time and it is refreshing to hear from a reseller like her. I'm happy that she is finding success and happiness in her life/business.

  • @jennyarduser3096

❤❤❤❤❤ I love the previous interview with her and your advice! It was so eye opening! I saw her clean house and how she put it all to work! I felt so proud of her!! You are both inspiring! Great follow-up!! I found you because of her trip! And I found her because of her trip with other re-sellers I watched! Great circle of friendships and wealth of information!! Keep rocking it Mel!!!

  • @donnadigsdeals9561

"The more I focus on the productivity and the goals, the happier I am.... People are seeking happiness all the time. Maybe instead of seeking happiness, we should be seeking productivity, because when we are productive it makes us happy." Mel -Back from burnout

Really good discussion - loved it. Thanks guys 😊 Cheers Sue 👍

  • @edieandmemiller4649

I like the idea of thinking about whether what I source is something I would give to my reseller friends as a good investment. That will definitely allow me to have a more healthy perspective when making decisions. Love seeing Mel's progress! It's inspiring. :)
