It may be the most difficult thing for you to practice, based on your upbringing or exposure to the society!
But definitely, once you are accustomed to it , you will never repent for this one single decision you have taken in your life!🙏

You see , you can look at our ancient sages or say even your Chinese philosophers or spiritual gurus like Confucius or " Lao Tzu" !
I think they have explained adequately what being straight means!
It means freeing your life from clutter, unnecessary complexities!
You see just for our survival we have some basic needs like "Food , shelter & clothes" to protect ourselves from the raw forces of mother nature!
So those were very simple in those days,
beyond that you may incorporate into them some artistic elements to make them aesthetically pleasing, to uplift your mood or feelings further!
So if you can limit your needs to these basics , you will see , your life is gradually becoming straight, you do not need all those complex maneuvers to get more wealth, more power or more comfort, or power over others!
Then you will find more time to look internally to look into ,
What is your real need to have a healthy mind & body , and a blissful life!
This subject is much deeper , and i think, it is beyond the limited words we are allowed to put in a social media comment!
May be you can just take it as a "Food for Thought" for you!
