What to do in Winter Hokkaido Part 1 | Sapporo Snow Festival 2023

We spent the day exploring the 73rd Sapporo Snow Festival 2023, or 'Yuki Matsuri', a major annual event held in Sapporo, Hokkaido. In this video, we show you all that we saw and experienced at the Odori Park site (there's also the ice festival held at Susukino site). Despite the cold and us looking like wrapped dumplings, the festival was so magical with so much to see - snow sculptures of different sizes (with some that were so grand that made our jaws drop) and performances which really lit up the atmosphere!
The next Sapporo snow festival will be held from February 4 (Sun) to 11 (Sun), 2024 - be sure not to miss it if you're visiting!
