Joan Calamezzo is the gnarly, armpit of journalistic ideals! The way her character is fleshed out is- Genius! Such a meaty, howlarious, character, in such little time! Top order writing!!! 😎🙋👏
There is one difference between Joan and the real world reporters. Joan tries really hard to put a negative spin on anything and will keep digging for the one flaw to do a negative report. However if she can't find any, she'll give up and begrudgingly do a positive one like the harvest festival. The real world reporters on the other hand never give up. They keep digging and digging and if they find nothing, they make up something from thin air.
