Big respect to the Gentleman, who explained to you in brief at the Restaurant and the young man inside the boutique. You are a very beautiful and smart lady. Your companion Joel seems like a joyful person. As for the ladies, they need to respect their guests and their customer service is Zero. Like Joel pointed out, they should have a sign saying " No camera allowed ". Thank you for posting the video.

Kudos to you Harriet for this Video.
I am a Ugandan living Europe. Seeing you eating Eritrean and/or Ethiopian food reminded me of my time in Addis Ababa (January 2028). I had gonna there with a friend to visit Austria embassy for a visa. We had a stressful day at the embassy and around 3pm be4 we could board back to uganda, we wanted to eat something since we were very hungry. The challange we had was: we could not speak the langauge of the land, and many locals could not speak English.
At last we landed on a group of five guys in a certain Restaurant (XPVH+P49, S Africa Street) eating that traditional food. After knowing that we were from uganda, they called us over to eat with them. my friend refused, but I went and ate with them. Only one of them could speak broken English but I enjoyed their company and hospitality. Watching this video now has called my mind back to those brothers....BIG UP tO THEM, big up to all of you new culture lovers and to all good people around the world.
Awww! That was so kind of them true we are all learning here dear thanks God you landed to this video and reminded you alot
Keep up Harriet, you videos are amazing

I'm Somali, a professional RUclips viewer, lol. Despite being halfway around the world, in Australia, I managed to discover your videos. Anyways, let me not get ahead of myself. Upon discovering your videos, I have noticed that you are a wonderful person who deserves genuine feedback that can enhance your productivity and success in interacting with local people.
Here's a tip: it would be beneficial to engage with a local individual who speaks the local language and possesses extensive knowledge about the area, including popular attractions and insider tips. This can greatly facilitate your work, making it more efficient and seamless. As a result, your audience will have no option but to appreciate the valuable content you provide.

I am watching you from USA, and was wondering how all these Ethiopians and Erthireans get there, can you make a video of interrogating them how they ended up there?
Thanks for watching
🇺🇬Uganda is rank #1 for refugees in the world. unlike other places.... refugees are process into the population. They are given digital ID and an option to stay in a refugee camp, farming option or take your chances in the cities. = basically if you refugee in Uganda you have all the opportunities. most countries will block your movement or humanity status
If you are an immigrant; in the other countries ... you start from zero and it comes with a bunch of $fees, $visa fees $employment visa request, resident status ... 🇺🇬UGANDA also allows 'free movement". Its refugee program is the best in-the-world because their president refugee in Tanzania as a young boy when Uganda had a civil war.
Most people who are there may have political disagreement in their country of Ethiopia, Somalia or Eritrea
Others: the East African Federation - 🇧🇮 Burundi, 🇨🇩 Democratic Republic of the Congo, 🇰🇪Kenya, 🇷🇼 Rwanda, 🇸🇸 South Sudan, 🇹🇿 Tanzania and 🇺🇬Uganda - - as a single federated sovereign state. so those citizens have border crossing. Similar to the USA (state border crossing) Those 7 countries are joining as 1 giant super power.
African UNION is removing all its POLITICAL borders in the near future.... because no African draw those lines.
= its irrelevant how they end up there; because they are Africans and they are in their HOUSE.
Africans are like many native Americans The Land own the people....not the other way around. Free movement is deep in the culture ; which is why they hate the camera... because its an infringement of their privacy right to exist without bother.
--------------------------------
also #2 Africa is the future
and UGANDA is the future of Africa. Its wise to put down roots in land that will soon be at the top. this should cover all your who? when? where? why? how questions.
99% of them go there, to process their visas to Europe. They chose Uganda because of the better processing opportunities and the lovely Ugandan people to stay and work while waiting.
All Eritrean because the Esayas Regime don't let them live they own country
You are so sweet i like how you interacting with my people but most habesha people they are camera shy 😂😂😂

I appreciate you for sharing how Eritreans, Ethiopians and Somalians are living in Uganda. However, you should consider doing your own research beforehand, that way you know what to expect. And getting to know someone who speaks the language will definitely help you how to interact with the community. because, and converse

*Know what to ask/How to ask
*Avoid personal questions

Eritrea 🇪🇷 people Refuge in Uganda because of the Ditactoral Regime for 35 years .
Hello, how are you? I am glad to see your program. But the people you asked are all Eritrean, not Ethiopian. Because we have Ethiopia and Eritrea in common. It's just enjera. For example, they often like to play pool, most of them have communication problems, maybe because of the problems in their country. If you look at Ethiopia and Eritrea closely, we will differ in many things. If you come to Ethiopia, there are 88 ethnicities or different cultures, it is not uniform. I would love to write you more, but that's enough for now. Good luck
