This is the most amazing stair installation I've have ever seen in my entire 42 years I have been alive on this planet, perhaps the entire vast universe. SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing how these dudes work with the cheapest tools, but have quality results. No shoes, wood scraps everywhere, spraying poly (highly combustible) around mopeds with zero fucks given. Impressive!
I remember my father.(r.i.p). An expert carpenter here in phil. He also works barefoot and smokes cigarette. He said he's more comfortable with that. He works with a less machinery but the quality is really good. I'm satisfied with this. I'm also practicing woodworking and i learned something just by watching some of your videos. Keep it up :)
if anyone watching this wants to build stairs like that then for the love of god use glue when joining the risers to the treads and then glue everything to the floor, if you dont it will squeak and eventually start moving and come apart. i make and install stairs that go into multi million dollar homes day in day out
These guys are so productive because they are COMFORTABLE! Buncha safety regulations and personal protective equipment that obscures your view/ hearing/ air flow/ mobility... is unnecessary, restrictive, and counterproductive.
@@leonardorojas1781 That wouldn't be comfortable breathing sawdust. *You're* (you-are) missing the point. I work when and where I am COMFORTABLE. Looks like these guys also have an open air shop with a good breeze or a fan. I would work with good cross ventilation or a blower behind me so I don't need to work with a restrictive mask.
at 8:25 I was afraid he was gonna have a nail hit a not and curl into his finger. seem it happen that's why I always keep fingers the same distance as the nail away from my gun. incase I accidentally hit a knot and the nail curls back it won't hit me. fingers always a few inches away from gun
You are probably right, but it is less likely for me to die because of a work accident or lungs cancer. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the job the guys do, but for North Europeans like me their work environment is somehow weird. Here as an owner of such a carpentry you would get really severe trouble if officials would do an audit of your company. No dust collection, no foot protection, freely rotating not covered saw blade and so on.. Reminds me a little bit at this movie (in German): ruclips.net/video/9z77oztO6UQ/видео.html
Florestan Koenigs In some cases, if not most cases, this type of dude usually lives longer than most europeans in the same field do. Unlike westerners who are more prone to health issues with high mortality rates like heart prolems, this dude lifestyle is simple and have harnessed his body to withstand rough environmental condition like you can see in the video. Ironically, accidents happen more to those who think they are in safe conditions than those who are always in the presence of risk but in constant vigilance.
My guess is for some type of glue, probably PU or similar, just to add protection from sliding. They are leaving space between concrete and step big enough for PU foam...
🤦🏽♀️Well I'm glad those "regulations" came about. America was built off the blood and tears of those stolen, held captive, raped and killed! Nice try though.
Where does "Amazing" come into this?? I am a time served Carpenter/Joiner , O.N.C. H.N.C , Qualified over 50 years ago, and this is basic bottom of the line D.I.Y. "chippying " !!
Am still waiting to see him secure the wood to the concrete.not properly installed.its bullshit....( similar is done in the states everyday but you must first secure wood backing 1xs or 2xs with concrete screws to the concrete then install finished wood

fancy power tools make it possible for less skilled people to do descent work.
If you are highly skilled, you don't need fancy power tools.

Looking at those boards you can see how unevenly sanded they are. Running handtools over them like the guy did wont do the job well.
