It's experimental, the "base" or "default" challenge is either complete the level within 60 seconds or complete the level without picking up skulls. I belive the challenge on this level is to complete the level within 60 seconds
The claustrophobic feel of ultrakill proper works really well for what hakita is going for, but I really adore this more open level design as well, I can't wait to play this when its out

Alright, anyone else learn via watching this that you could airdash to sidestep projectiles while whiplashing to an object and still be whiplashing towards it after the fact (This looks fantastic!)
The moon is represented as heaven in some christian mythology, so it would be pretty cool to see different types of angellic enemys, like ones for cannon fodder or something similar to a mindflayer on luna.
This is funny. I have a whole headcanon of what the Act 3 layers are going to look like, and one of these ideas was that the second layer of Act 3 would be called Pride, a layer that has the goal of torturing the sinners by throwing them in the infinte emptiness of space, with no one nearby to hear their screams. So my headcanon for the Pride layer is basically the same as this custom level, except I was thinking of a level that felt much more empty, and instead of floating islands with grass, the layer would have several small meteors that would act as platforms and would be just bare rocks.
My headcanon for Act 3: Violence layer. This is a huge forest, the trees of which are made up of sinners. As a new enemy, there is a dog-like demon and a new type of angel.

With that said, your idea is somewhat similar to what I had in mind for an "Envy" layer, which would be a dense forest, with trees consuming sinners with its roots, crushing and suffocating them. A dog-like demon could be really cool too.

yep, this is based off Dante's paradiso which has 9 (technically 10) layers, the moon, mercury, Venus, THE SUN mars, jupiter, saturn, the fixed stars, the primum mobile and the Empyrean which is actual heaven but technically the 10th layer
Idk if you are going to see this comment but i have a question for you, the day you release the mod how could we play it? Because i see some mechanics that are not in the base game yet, is it the level editor?
gonna ask quick but how'd you get the game to work? im guessing you edited it through unity which is something i really wanna do but ive been having a tough time getting it working but once i try loading my unpackaged version unity stops halfway through
A cooler way for the level to end could have been to teach the player how to slam storage, and have them do it at the end of the level, but otherwise: Very cool!
Complete level editor is going to be a game changer when the full game comes out
