I LOVE THE HONESTY OF THIS RECORDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every blip, glitch, and overstep was faithfully recorded in all its eternal dark glory. Praise hail satan, and may Laiho's name forever fall from the lips of young followers of the left-hand path.
@@kang_min_nal_ra Depends on what u mean by "better shredder"... Yes, his solos were sometimes tastier than Alexi's, specially on Sinergy's records, but Alexi was excellent at everything. Alexi's picking could be considered a bit sloppy but that's about it. Roope himself admitted many times that Alexi was a better guitarist than him. He could never compose like Alexi...
@gepic922 Alexi had a period where he was incredibly sloppy, obviously because he didn't practise like he used to. Too much party I guess. When he was younger he didn't play sloppy, and at the very end of his life he was back in form playing with the same precision as when he was young. Still very sad about his passing, he was incredible.
To the people complaining about the playing, they didn't make hardly any mistakes, played faster than the record at some points, and the way it sounds like this is because the mix is very bad. The kick drum sounds floppy and the crash cymbals overshadow the drums. Seems like the drums are slightly louder than the guitars and basses which covers part of the sound in that frequency up. The playing was good and consistent. R.I.P Alexi
@@Mobayeats Janne has his band Warmen and they play Bodom songs at their live shows. Petri Lindroos from Ensiferum is the lead guitarist and vocalist now.
@@thatsoulsguy3028 i heard he only played high on opioids, speed, PCP and Koskenkorva? Honestly, he lost his way after Hate Crew Deathroll and that shitty U.S. tour
RIP to Alexi… one of the greatest we’ll ever know.
RIP my brother!! All metal heads shall party again one day!!
☯️
Wow, an honest live mix without overdubbing of every single part. Pure raw energy coming off those instruments!

RIP 🤘
Rip alexi absolute hero
Rip
Love that heavy metal skip Alexi used to do \m/
Roope is so cool
💔🖤🤘🏻
So at 00:25 you can see the rhythm guitarist miss a few notes and even look at the camera like 😲
He didn't miss a thing, what you can HEAR is Henkka the bassist fkn up
Besides, that's not "the rhythm guitarist", that's Roope Latvala, arguably a better shredder than Aleksi himself

Just look at Roope, hes on it! I have allwyas said it Roope is at least as good if not even better than Alexi was.. Hes truly a GUITAR HERO like Alexi
Janne started the song too fast
sounds like an actual hardcore death metal band live haha so much more less raw then this on recording
I wonder what the rest of the band is doing now that there lead vocalist is Dead
new bands
Collecting royalties
What are the names of those bands? Do you know?

And Henkka plays in Moon Shot.
RIP and stuff but in all honesty this sounds so shit it reminds me of a school ensamble gig in like 8th grade..
I’m surprised this has so many likes. It seems pretty sloppy to be honest.
The mix is sloppy, the playing is good
Looks hungover af
@@brandonharris9160 from 2:00 onward, alexi almost throws up and can barely keep up with the rhythm. After the synthsolo he recovers though. Hangover?
Alexi almost always played drunk…it’s sad but true. I can’t play when I’m drunk either but he’s still a god

This mix is just terrible. Bass way too loud and Roope's guitar way too low in the mix
Sounds really bad. The bass player looks like a very young nekrobutcher from Mayhem.
This proves once again you can have all the technical ability but still fail to make decent music..
This is good song. The live version is just so bad quality
its just a horrible sounding mix
