- Well, the rainy season has let up, but the humidity is here in heavy full force. Still, cool early mornings in the garden allowed for the transplanting of the lemon trees and jalapeño starts. I also have a simple recipe for Ginger Ale for you!

Good day everyone! I’ve received a few messages recently that some of you haven’t been receiving notifications of my posts. I’ve spoken to RUclips Creator Support and they’ve provided some solutions:
Problems with notifications? The common reasons why a subscriber will not receive notifications.
1. They are not actually subscribed to your channel, but are confused by “Recommended video” notifications.
2. Their bell icon setting is set to “personalized” rather than “all” notifications. This resets if they unsubscribe and resubscribe.
3. Their greater RUclips notification settings are set to “None” for channel notifications.
4. They aren’t logged in.
5. Their device level notification settings are overriding their RUclips settings
Another reasons viewers may not be receiving notifications.
1. They already received the maximum number of notifications from your channel that day.

A wonderful and very enjoyable episode, Robert and Haru! Haru and you were so cute when she was "talking" to you and vice versa at 18:41 - "It's you again! Rarr rarr!" The clouds around the first Shogun were quite dramatic... and that was one beautiful view of Mt. Fuji at the end... it would make a lovely poster! I got a little excited when I saw that slightly larger zucchini growing... but it got the blight. Too bad about that squash not growing well for you. Frequently folks I know that grow zucchini have so much, they can't give them away! Have you grown them successfully in the past? Strange... too wet, maybe? Anyway, thank you SO much for the nice video and fun recipe for your own ginger ale! Have a good one, my friend! 😊
Thank you Sam! Haru is a charming doggie! 🐶 I’ve never had much luck growing zucchini which is sad because I love it. Yes, I think the rainy season doesn’t help. I’m curious to see how the next batch of UFO zucchini does when I plant it in a few days. The ginger ale is delicious 🤤! I wish I had found such a simple recipe earlier. Hello Robert! You sure get a workout gardening! Princess Haru is so full of love, she always has plenty of kisses for everyone at the park! Awesome! I have never seem ginger ale made. Very simple to do! Nice haul from the garden. Just enough for you and Haru. The green beans caught my eye! Love them cooked in butter. Who ate the purple ones? Good morning David! You know, I was just thinking that my harvests are the perfect amount for me and Haru. I did give some tomatoes and potatoes to my neighbors across the street. I chopped, blanched and froze the green beans. But I think I waited too long to harvest the basil-rather bitter. Hopefully, what’s still growing is okay. 🤔👍🏾🤩🐶
@@TheKamakuraGardener Yes, when I raised basil, the more I cut the leaves out, the more it grew. I would pick the leaves as soon as they developed and made a great pesto from them. Love basil!

Hullo Robert… question… what kind of weather do the peanuts need to grow… your garden is so full it’s beautiful…unfortunately we are not having a good summer here in the UK…5 lovely day a few wks ago and that’s it …an odd hour here and ther…lots of rain and lots of wind…
Wer on earth did your purple beans go… you were not seeing things because I saw them also…oh your ginger ale looked delicious… my father used to make ginger ale in the summer when we were little… he would grow the ginger in bottles then fill will water… I can’t remember what else he did…memory not that good it was a long time ago…he used to also keep a large brown glass jar in tge brick shed and there were 5 of us and we would all get a desert spoonful of malt out of the jar before school…all good was fresh and home cooked by mither…we were never sick…

You're getting a great tomato 🍅 haul. My tester indoor plant unfortunately didn't make it. I guess going on vacation didn't help eventhough I set up an automatic watering system and had a grow light on it.☹
