Deadman is their absolute masterpiece to date.
That's just the best live band along with Tool and Porcupine Tree. Excellent sound and what a power!

God damn, Ian is such a brilliant singer... How he nails the high notes so effortlessly and flawlessly, unbelievable.
He is an incredibly nice guy too. Really humble and loves to hang out with fans. Kenny is awesome!
God that opening riff is so infectious, it’s one of the coolest riffs I’ve ever heard in any bands library.

I just found this band today, so happy I did!
This was the band people needed to wait 14 years for, I wish I knew more about them, they are probably one of the most talented groups of musicians there are, and they seem like they are having fun as well, I only learned of them a few months ago, then went and bought all their albums, whoever’s page this is do u think they will do more?, I live in small town us Australian bands, I have to tell u there are a ton of good ones, ur marketing in the us sucks though , I’ve been hearing some really cool bands from ur continent, but they jus come outta no where, and then it’s like ohh they were big in 2015, do they ever have concerts, no they are broken up, so me I have to research, anyway I really hope this helps Australia bands, kinda feel that’s where it is rite now as far as cool rock, thanks love the page

Releasing a live DVD on thier third album actually saved what was a massive shift from Sound Awake and Themata. Perth has produced some exceptional bands, but Karnivool are the most talented, experimental prog metal acts since Tool and Devin Townsend.

Karnivool is the musical equivalent to Daniel Day Lewis. They just have "that special thing" that makes them stand out. There are a lot of bands, and a lot of actors out there. But only a select few are truly memorable like these guys. I'm happy to have discovered them!
Incredible recording. Live performance is really a treat to watch. Impressive basswork and mastering in general. Just sick altogether. Ian Kelly is the next great vocalist.

absolutely incredible. and for those who noticed different lyrics for some parts... this was done before the album, and the song itself wasnt even complete yet. instrumentally very similar, indeed, another example of just how fucking awesome these guys are.

Yes, his shoulder accident happened on their first U.S. tour which was the first time I ever saw Karnivool. He still played amazing even with his right arm resting on his lap part of the time. I think he dislocated it, and Anyone who has dislocated a shoulder or hip knows that once you do it is very easy to happen again and cause problems
I saw them last night here in Melbourne. They are a totally awesome & cohesive musical force which continues to develop in exciting and unexpected ways. There really is no limit to what they could achieve.
