what power supply are you using ?? I have tryed to power mine off 3 differant 'laptop' (switching) power supply. but the screen goes crazy, and just keeps changing by itself :( I hate mine... totel waste of time and money
I have a 24V Li-Ion system with 7S and wanted to switch to LiFePo4 (8S) in the future. They build the ISDT S8 for 8 cells, but they only offer the BattAir up to 6S. 🤦♂️
I have exactlly same problem , people say go to screen calibration menu , first not so easy then it does not help, the only thing help if you choose your source not a power suply but just 3 cell lipo. makes the problem become very little or solved. I could deliver it back but the seller did not have another one and I had to drive very long to do that so I keep it but not sutisfied. another problem is that the charger must recognize the plugin and charge according to adjustment from app but it does not :( I hope the come with software upgrade)
I love it when you leave in the bits where things just don't work out as planned. We've all been there where we've read the instructions, followed all the steps, and our whiz bang gizmo just doesn't work the way it is supposed to. And I'm betting that if it doesn't work for you, it won't work for a lot of us!
Hey Doug!... Guess what? my doesn't work. The batt air app keeps asking me to accept the license agreement (pixel 4a). 6S dongle doesn't want to initialise and the the app takes so long to find the dongle (Yes i do push the button) that you'd have time to get the charger out and recharge the battery before you get any sense out of it!
air 8 disappointed me because I already bought a second piece and it does not transfer charging to the mobile phone at all when powered by 24V 350W, when powered by a lipo battery it works, when powered by the source it only transfers discharge. I wrote to the developer and the email address was not found. So it is not possible to contact the manufacturer and the seller does not respond
Got an ISDT charger from Banggood, arrived while I was away, finally opened and was dead on arrival!!! Both ISDT and Banggood refused to do anything. Neither of these companies stand behind their products.

what is your power supply?
Lipo or Toolkit mini power supply
Did it beep touch at 4:33 on it's own? What else can it do on it's own? Change the current or set mode to destroy? This is bad
What if it just signal auto turn-off..?
Does this work with the jst style connectors used in therm imax b6 chargers? Or is it a different style balance connector?
Same balance plugs as any other LiPo charger

So you need 1 for every battery? I really can't see the need. I certainly won't be spending my hard earned on this needless piece of electronics.
If the charger does not have battery memory storage locations for all your different types of batteries, then it's worthless.. .
Why can't it just have an oled display? Seems mental TBH.
