What...are they supposed to hate each other?
There's no like or dislike, you see ali seeking cus for tutelage?
They just see each other for what they are.
      What next?...respect?
You are looking at it as if you think they think LIKE YOU....wrong.
No nonsense type people don't generally like people.
If anything, these two can admit to breaking bread together....opinion of each other behind closed doors, they are going to measure their words and thats where people think its respect! They like each other!!
      Lol...no.
Neither one wants to ever be or look or proven to be stupid.
It starts with the self and especially in their world.
Neither one has the luxury of being wrong without a big price, unlike most people never put in CHECK....

When he came back and fought Quarry and Oscar B... He definitely wasnt as fast anymore but he was still faster than all heavyweights during part two of his career. He wasn't as accurate before being exiled but he was still more accurate than most of the HW he fought. He lost to Norton In Yankee Stadium, he lost against Mike Weaver, he lost to Jimmy Young, even though he got the decisions in those fights. He was unimpressive. He was Ali that's how got those decisions.

Lol, that's the problem with you types, it's always off a premise of defiance.
That's why you have no principle.
If one has principle, everything else, defiant or cooperative, is default.
I'm white, I identify as white, does that make me defiant Mr wong?
Apparently, it makes me racist, right?
Muhammed was a black racist and then became a black universalist. His principles obviously changed, but not his racialism.
If he had it his way, no matter what, he would prefer blacks to run things or seperate, because ultimately, there is no middle ground.
But like magic, you types create the middle ground. The middle are those who do not want to be absorbed by the ever changing principles.
I'm white, I identify as such, I have principle, because I don't succumb to your middle ground nor your side of seeing things, because your philosophy is liberation by force.
I don't want to be black, anymore than Muhammed wants to be white. He only became a universalist because it worked for him. Martin Luther King had a dream too, and it stinks.
If Muhammed could no longer pay the rent as a universalist, he would be a black racist militant, dead or in jail.
Like most blacks. Americanism is characterized by whiteness, until the Jews stepped in.
Now nobody is and your side hasn't accomplished shit, accept being a tool of the Jew, like everyone else.
      Not me.

And for anyone who has not already seen that fight from opening bell to KO, I highly recommend watching it through.
Ali's timing, rhythm and footwork are just absolutely perfect throughout the entire fight. One of, if not his greatest display of pure footwork, speed, timing and skill ever.....
    RIP Champ.

    • @winningwithwarriors9914

Ali never boasted about beating Cleveland Williams though. Ali even said, "there was nothing to beat". Ali knew, Williams was coming back, after getting shot by the police. The aftermath was, it limited Williams as a fighter. You can see, one leg is bigger than the other. The same leg stayed permanently straight, even when he got knocked down. This clearly limited his movement. The fight was more about helping Cleveland Williams get a payday, after the tragic events.
Fun fact ; if you find the interview Ali gave in the ring afterwards, you will see Don King, before he got involved in boxing.

Ali was trolled for being a below-average student. He was but not without a caveat, to wit, his entire body, soul and spirit were focused on being the best in a profession that he "accidentally" happened upon. I make bold to say that, it's not beyond the realm that this born-genius could conceivably have been the best in any endeavour he chose to focus his mind on. That includes lawyer, medical doctor, engineer, without excluding the rest. That is to say, if Ali had pursued academics with the same single-minded devotion and zeal that he put into the boxing game, he would have graduated at, or near the top, of his class -- not the bottom as was the case. Do you know who would have given Ali fits? Jack Dempsey. Look at both of Ali’s fights against Henry Cooper, particularly the portions of those fights before Cooper gets cut. He crowds Ali, roughs him up on the inside, and generally gives Ali a rougher time than anyone would have thought he was capable of. In their second meeting, Ali got so frustrated with Cooper’s tactics that he briefly stopped fighting to protest to the referee, despite the fact that time hadn’t been called. Cooper, ever the gentleman, stood and waited for Ali to resume fighting. It was a situation very similar to the Dempsey vs Sharkey fight, except that as soon as Sharkey turned away to protest, Dempsey went in for the kill, and most likely would have taken full advantage of the opportunity that Ali unwittingly presented to Cooper. But don’t take my word for it. Watch the second fight when Ali stops to protest. He turns away and is wide open for about two seconds, which would have been more than enough time for Dempsey to bring down the final curtain.

A great documentary -- not perfect and not without its flaws but very good nonetheless.
Pound for pound Ali is tied with his idol and the man after whom he modelled his fighting style, namely, the great boxer-puncher Sugar Ray Robinson, as the 2 greatest the boxing game has yet seen. [One can be excused for giving Ali a slight edge considering his hand speed at such a heavy weight.]
Ali was deceptively greater than sum of his parts, to wit, paper record does not do justice to the Ali intangibles! Here goes.
Had it not been for Ali, Charles Sonny Liston would arguably have been champion for close on 10 years without defeat. Again, if not for Ali, George Foreman would have pulverised his way through 100 plus opponents without a defeat. [The freaky defeat to Jimmy Young wouldn't have been but for psychological downtime courtesy of his loss to Ali.]
We are talking of the greatest defensive fighter in the game's history, endowed with a chin of steel and, according to the boxing historian Bert Sugar, the best hands-feet coordination yet observed in a mere human.
Was it the Old Mongoose Archie Moore who opined that Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano and the rest of the greats at their best would have fallen to the Mike Tyson on the night that he made a mincemeat of Michael Spinks in less than a round? I say, to decipher what the boxing game is all about, watch Ali versus Cleveland Williams 3rd round and see the ring general Ali at his mesmerising best against a power puncher a lot of pundits had picked to take out Ali.
So, Ali (against Williams) versus Tyson (against Spinks), I give Muhammad Ali the nod -- for obvious reasons -- in the late rounds. 'nuff said.

ALSO, many underestimate the power punches Ali took from harder hitters than Louis, Marciano, and Patterson!!!!! Ali took punches from MUCH HARDER hitters like Liston, Foreman, Shavers, Norton, and Lyle!!!! Lastly, around Ali time, heavyweights were getting bigger and physically stronger!!!!

Clay was too big for boxing (he was the best thing that happened to boxing ever) one thing Listons and bums and Frazers of this world could not understand.

@12:05 Love the chemistry, the spark between the Champ and Cus D'Amato. In a funny way reminds me of how Lionel Jefferson talks to Archie Bunker...ruclips.net/video/PzPD4VSweYM/видео.html

He stuck to his beliefs . Alot of whites and blacks hated him . He was from Kentucky like me and I loved him.I was a little kid when he was champ and he was beyond a great sports hero he was greater than that he was my hero and I don't know why he just was.

Blah, blah, blah, Ali in his prime, we will never know how competition would have pushed him to higher levels! Still the greatest thing, most patriotic act any citizen of the USofA, could do is say no to those treasonous presidents that start wars for no other reason than to further their own agendas! Since the ungodly way the US ended WWII to now our freedoms were never threatened! Not to take anything away from the service our people have given, I apologize for our governments lies about every single war since! Sad since good ol’ boy George Washington saw it coming and warn USA’ll that the greatest danger we would ever face would come not from foreigners but from treasonous presidents that would get US killed fighting for them! Nine eleven was planned and carried out by Saudi nationals as freedom fighters because we sold a f****** so many weapons the Saudi people will never be free! Every time they go out into the world causing shit for those people it’s not national interests it’s always been for corporate interests! WTF , it’s mostly been for the industrial weapon’s industry’s sales and mostly for the petroleum companies. Never for our freedoms. Only time we lost any of those was when we let the government interfere in others internal affairs so much it created freedom fighters so mad they suicidedly hit US then they convinced US that we would have to give up our rights to privacy in order for them to be able to protect US! Wow and most of you don’t have a clue!
Not that I believe, but what will any of Y’All say if in your judgement day your asked what you ever did to stop any of the suffering your government has put on so many people of the world?
I do know for a fact that any country that holds its secrets above the truth cannot possibly govern by rule of law!
