Hi aunty. Below are my answers to the quiz-

    3. Ramnad Sri Sreenivasa Iyengar is the composer of Mohanam varnam, Kalyani Varnam, and many more. He was also known as Poochi Srinivasa Iyengar.
    4. Simhanandana Talam also has Guru. Its angas are:

    5. Guru, is a dispeler of darkness. A mentor, guide or expert teacher is someone who dispels darkness out of the student

Namaste Ms.Sandhya, this is Isha. Below is my quiz for Taradhipanana in Kapi ragam, composed by Ramnad Sri Sreenivasa Iyengar.
    1. No, it is not one of the 7 Suladi thalas. I think it has 25 aksharas because I counted 25 beats in this thalam with all of the angas in it.
    2. Ms.Sandhya, I am not sure about this question. The only song I found is this Thillana which is TArAdhipAnana in Kapi in Lakshmeesha Thalam.
    3. Ramnad Sri Sreenivasa Iyengar was a singer and composer of Carnatic music and he learned from his guru, Sri Patnam Subramanya Iyer. He composed a well- known varnam called Vanajakshiro in Kalyani ragam. He was from Tamil Nadu but his krithis were mostly in Telugu.
    4. Simhanandana thalam. It is the longest Thalam in Carnatic music.
    Angas: Guru+Guru+Laghu+Plutam+Laghu+Guru+Dhrutam+Dhrutam+Guru+Guru+Laghu+Plutam+Laghu+Plutam+Guru+Laghu+Laghu+Kakapaadam
    5. Guru means a teacher who imbibes knowledge into their students/disciples. Guru also means the motion of making a fist and moving it clockwise, in the angas of Thalams.
    Thank you Ms.Sandhya.
