in my area, i live like 45 mins away from sonoma and was not aware of comova but pretty neat.
Also best to not do the rice trick. i used to. but learned it doesn't really help and could make it worse if they get inside some how. best to just let a phone dry on its own before trying to charge since the wetness/moisture can short it out and ruin it. def worth just letting out dry itself for a bit.

@@lifesagem no worries about the rice trick just wanted to mention it since I had stopped doing it after awhile since it didn’t work everytime ya know ha. But thanks for the info about the strava link I’ll have to check it out. I have only ridden there and back once. It was back in September two days after getting a free 90s mtb so why not take a bike you’ve gone on 1-2 rides around town on without a tubeup and take it on a 66 ish mile bike ride no worries lol!. It was fine. I have a road bike again so I wanna take it out on the ride since it has a few big boy hills that killed me on the mtb ha. Usually I ride fixed & single speeds but the route I went I would definitely had to work my way up to doing it with out gears.
Just need to get a new tube for my road bike and I may do it this week or this weekend:).
@@dannystarkridesfixed definitely need those gears for these steep hills. I can’t imagine doing a ride like this on a heavy mountain bike or single speed! Well if you do get out there let me know how it goes! Have fun and enjoy!
