Well earned victory, Tadej. Well earned second place, Jonas. Both are champions, for different reasons. It always takes courage to come back, from defeat, and from severe injury.

TDF what a great sport show!!... Pogacar is from another planet, Vingergaard is very strong but it wasn't enough to beat him.

Well deserved Tadej 3. Tour de France in such a young age. Jonas get yourself and Cian Uijtdebroeks ready for next year and together with Sep and Matteo you should be up for a fair fight! Nice third place for Remco we are going to see a lot more from him that's for sure.

This would be the year when Pogi could try the unprecedented. Vingo isn't 100%, and Remco needs a bit more time. Nobody else can challenge Pogi, realistically, but he must eventually tire.

Cav is a sprinter and nothing close to Eddie Merck. When you finish 6 hours behind the leaders you are a great specialist and not a “greatest” cyclist.

He has exceeded the 38 stage wins set by the the great Belgian Eddy Merckx.

    • @Comments976

@@robertmartin7594 your 38 number is wrong. Yes he has the most stage victories but overall they are hollow.

Nobody puts Cavendish above Merckx in terms of being a greater cyclist. Cav is an all-time great sprinter and has the record, but it took him so many attempts to get the record.
