Great vid guys! I have saved a few people's lives that were stranded in the bush one family was stuck for 3 days and was glad to see me. Got them out and escorted them back to the road.
I'm happy you finally got out here to Kelowna to wheel with Bruce. You can learn a lot from him in how to wheel deep bottomless snow. One thing to keep in the survival kit is to have a HOSE CONNECTOR for every size of hose on your vehicle then some hose clamps to match and some fluid you are back on the road and out of the bush. Great film and drone work Shawn , really captured the moment. That Belgo dam route is awesome round trip route if you get all the away thru. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h.
Safe to say you guys most likely saved that guys life. Well stated. We don't have that type of snow here in the southeast USA, but this type of content really shows how awesome our jeep community is. Great work again. Thanks from jeepNdirt.
If everything went smoothly, what the hell fun would that be? Part of the fun is tackling the challenges that life throws your way when you're on the trail (or not).
Great video! So glad I found this channel recently. Loved the attitudes of all involved. Doesn’t always go as planned. Being properly prepared and having good spirits got everyone home. Good times!
Now that was a “Epic” adventure and a winter video we love watching from you. I’m totally jealous, our Ontario winter has been a joke, it keeps melting away, no snow to play in.
Sean it's good to see you got the lockers working again brother, keep the snow wheel in videos coming the best part about snow wheeling is the getting stock and recovering part blowing transmissions and blowing motors and things breaking that's the oh s*** not so fun part!! Keep the videos coming brother look forward to them every Monday!!
Another great video om this awesome channel. Thanks for sharing. Shows good teamwork and team sprit in the group. Good that you brought the Jeep back safely. Keep on snow wheeling, it´s awesome.
Sean all they need to do is put a snow plow in front of your trail destroyer and you could just be a plow seriously look at that thing with your locker's fixed what a beast you were in snow as high as your front bumper and you are just plowing it like a snow plow no problem!! V8 power is a must that's for sure..
Another great video ! I cant believe how deep that snow is! ⛄️. Also, a great Recovery of that quad runner.... i hope that guy was very grateful to yall ?
Never met Bruce when he came to GF Strong to visit one of the other patients. Seems like a positive guy, if you guys do Kluskoil Ive got a property on Yimpakluk you guys can use it as a jump off point. Im in a chair also since 2015. Ive got a lot of stories from that area. Including Dead Red lol
Hey Shaun, You are not that far from me down here in Kettle Falls. Wa. I hope you are on your way down to the states. Great videos! Just found your channel. Here’s to the next adventures. Cheers
Hey guys. I just subscribed to your channel. You may not read my comment but in case you do I want to tell you that you are one of my favorite Channel to watch. The editing is amazing, professional. I don't personally know you but I appreciate the level of professionalism. I own a rubicon with extreme recon package. Nothing close to your rigs. I live in las vegas and had completed one of many trails here named rocky gap rated a 7 . Keep up the good work You should visit here sometime. Many trails nearby, including toquerville falls and sandhollow utah only 2 hours away
I’ve been watching you for a while now, I find that the general atmosphere of the snow videos are different than the deep rainy valley ones. Really like the videos
Blew a transmission seal on a solo day trip, up a logging road. Walked 23 km in slush n mud before getting a ride back to tge closest town. NOT fun. The wolves, the wet slush, the heal blisters; worst of all worried family. The buddy system works
It seems to me, that if your snow wheeling, it might be a good idea to add snowshoes to your recovery gear. ;) LOL Great video. Shows how important it is to travel with friends and help for recovery.
@@TheStoryTillNow I also noticed no one was using chains. Is that just not as fun for you guys, or a weight management thing? I got stuck on a pretty snowy/icy spot when hunting before, and my chains saved my day. My buddies where about 50km away, it would've taken quite a while for help to arrive. LOL Anyhow, just curous, looked like a long day for you!
Great video .. looks fun bit learned my lesson long time ago blew the transmission in my xterra snow wheeling in upstate New york close to 3 grand later I will never snow wheel again . Good luck .
Absolute scary situation. So typical people would I know would not be prepared to camp out conditions where you’re and that’s why you should always go with people that have very capable rigs… plus talent
Great video, even the great Bruce needs help sometimes. Bruce has helped out so many others and is one of the most inspiring guys out there. 250OFFROAD would love to join alone next time as I’m based in Kelowna as well.
After watching this, I will be adding some assorted hoses to my spare parts that I normally carry with me. Simply cutting that transmission cooler line in half and adding a piece of rubber hose with two hose clamps would’ve gotten that jeep back on the road!
Shaun. I saw you putting fuel in with a jerry can. Have you looked into adding the long range America aux fuel tank. By the way what kind of mileage do you get when you are not using it as a snow plow
Shaun There is a modification you can do to the LRA Tank to make it work. I have a picture, Can not figure out how to post up here so I messaged you on facebook.
Oh man, trail breakdowns are the worst. 7 years ago I snapped my leaf spring hanger right off the frame in the bush. We came up with a solution to use a come along to hold the axel in place. Drove 45 minutes down the highway like that at 2 am 😅

The guy in the quad definitely got lucky you guys came across this path. What time is do you guys prefer in the snow? I have a Nitto trail grapplers and I feel like they are terrible in the snow. My old Cooper STT pros were better. Well at least on the street. I usually switch back to the Falken wildpeak’s for the winter for on street snow driving

Wet heavy snow is brutal, it is really easy to over heat your rig in those conditions.
In this case, the snowpack pushed the trans cooler line into the pulley repeatedly, until it was through.
Awesome!

I love my Nitto’s in the snow! Favourite tire so far. Run low enough pressure?
@@BruceCookfmx maybe offroad but not on the street 🤷🏼♂️
@@mcwendel8066 ah gotcha! I love mine on street too but they’re siped, grooved and rarely above 15 psi 😅
My Toyo MTs have been pretty great. Good all around tire for off-road.
I also run the Nitto’s this year on the silver LJ. Love them in snow at 4psi. They’re also cut and siped. We don’t play around. 😂
Little in rubber weld and some hose split n half some hose clamps. Had that happen before
We looked at options, but wasn’t worth risking the transmission. It leaked a lot, and wasn’t serviceable from the top. No dipstick.
