This episode was fun, you can tell Brad Dourif was having the time of his LIFE lmao
Absolutely
Facts this was Chucky at his highest moment
100% agree
Chucky is the most insane franchise ever
Facts but at least it's consistent unlike the other slasher franchise
@@mayflower7811that’s ture
And it's more insane than Friday the 13th,A Nightmare on Elm,The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,Saw,Final Destination,Paranormal Activity,Halloween, and the freaking conjuring!
it's scary but fun, perfect '80s horror!
@mayflower7811 It stopped being consistent with Bride of Chucky. The opening alone proves that it's a completely different universe than the objectively consistent Child's Play trilogy as is.
I like the fact Brad’s outfit was the same outfit he died in from the first film.
Seeing Brad play Charles again was just amazing. Also, the trailer for next episode shows Lukas so I'm HOPING they have all of Devon Sawa's characters meet
Same I loved seeing that
I personally didn't like it
I hope we get to see Junior as well
I do agree, I want the original trilogy chucky. The look, less campy, some jokes are fine, but more scary chucky.
The, I feel like Lexi is the main character now and I think she's more genuinely interesting and developed than Jake and Devon. Like they kinda ran their course for me, not to mention they started to feel like they barely even cared to help Lexi find Caroline. Lexi was the one doing most of the investigation and work; not to mention planning. Jake and Devon have mostly just been having predictable couple problems and following Lexi whenever they feel like. Or whenever they want talk about how "great" their relationship is going.
yeah i agree, it feels like jake and devin don’t really have a purpose in the show anymore.
The part of Tiffany being in her cell with it all pimped out and her getting her nails and feet done had me dead 😂😂 the guard goes “where did all this stuff come from?” 😂
Don Mancini just killing Devon Sawa over and over lol 5 times in 3 seasons
it's dumb and silly
Nah frr I wonder how their gonna use him in another season knowing thwm
I thought this episode was great, especially seeing Brad Dourif back as Charles Lee Ray. Finally meeting Damballa is also huge! Love it
I definitely love the ghost creativity they have in this now it gives it a different feel and the finale promo is even more hype
Just an observation but when we focus more on the chucky as the “main character” things tend to be more fantastical or silly. As you pointed out our main character doesn’t even feel like the main character anymore because chucky. like how the old movies eventually played out has become the main character. That’s just my observation
Did Nica mastermind Tiffany’s death? Did the guard that replaced Erica actually work for her? And was it her that killed Erica after the guard tipped her off? Erica’s death was a bit convenient IMO.
i think someone had that guard killed it being Nica idk
@@dylanmcmahon3162 I forgot Nica lost her legs but also forgot if she had fake legs now. So not sure if she can drive herself or someone else does.
@@tigerlord9302 Andy and Kyle could still be helping nica out
Nah a guy got out the driver’s side of the car when the officer was hit
@@ThAtZkOoLbEaNz she could have paid someone or maybe andy
Brad is such an underrated actor. He’s amazing.
Really wished the elevator opened up revealing them to be dead only for President Dupe to start gasping for air, really gave us this badass chase scene only to still go and kill off another Sawa
This was probably my favorite episode this season
Brad Dourif was absolutely having fun with this one!
I'm also a little mixed but I'm leaning more into loving it than not and I LOVED meeting Damballa!
this season did Chucky perfectly, he's comedic and funny but still sadistic and crazy!
This episode was a 10/10.. I hope Tiff doesn't die.
As someone that’s been a Chucky fan since VHS Child’s Play, I love your blunt honesty about quite frankly…where is this series going? Bring back scary and serious Chucky? What happened to the Chucky I grew up and loved to be scared of.
Cause I have no idea what I’m even watching anymore.
Caroline is gonna be waiting for chucky with a new body 😂
Yeah but first she is going to try and kill her sister Lexi
Andy’s
Charoline needs to get hers
i honestly loved this episode, it was so fun, so quirky and honestly was a breath of fresh air compared to the last few episodes. i’m excited for the finale!!
I don't know... How are ghosts less ridiculous and absurd than the way he came back in Child's Play 3? Did nobody ever questioned all that blood that suspicious looking doll kept dropping?
At this point half of this season is just fan service.
@@thepotatobich I don't think y'all know what Fan service is.
Well through a bunch of movies and 2 prior seasons ghosts haven’t been a thing. Might as well do a Chucky vs Ghostbusters at this lame point
@@mc2156 My dude. Chucky has been a ghost inhabiting a vintage 80s doll since movie 1. Heck the whole Ghost angle kinda does explain why he sometimes just comes back to life out of nowhere like in Child's Play 2.
I always see it as dambala helped chucky in those moments. Like in 2 the machine goes crazy and shocks that guy and dambala puts chuckys souls back in the doll. Or in 3 he gives Chucky’s blood the power of life ( or something along those lines) so he can live once again. Idk if it’s fair to just point out the factory workers cause while true this whole White House plot is just as big and dumb of a plot hole as that. Sometimes idek what I’m watching anymore. Not that I hate it but it just doesn’t feel like chucky to me if that makes sense
I agree with you! I kinda wasn’t sure how I felt about the whole Chucky in the White House storyline, but then I ended up loving the first half! The second half is falling flat and getting a little too zany and out there. I thought I’d like this season more than season 2, but depending how the next episode goes, I may have this one in last place
Here's the thing if this truly is the end, chucky probably dies along with Tiffany. If this goes into another season or another movie I think this ends with Tiffany and chucky getting into a new body.
I do think tho they should end this with a movie where it officially ends. Then they reboot it with new actresses, actors, younger people and a new story. Brad doriff and Jennifer tilly are both up there in age.
Don is currently writing a script for the new movie
no, we need Brad Dourif! he *is* Chucky and no-one can replace him!
...maybe Alex Brightman, he's also got a good laugh, but Dourif has to stay as Chucky for as long as he can!
Chris always starts the video saying “ I appreciate you clicking on the video” but man I appreciate YOU for making the videos🙌🙌
Faxxx
I'm just glad we got to see Brad and not just his voice that's not something to complain the guy is a veteran actor not just known for Chucky
As much as I want to get where you're coming from. Chucky/Childs Play has always been quite a funny franchise. At its core its always been a Slasher, Black Comedy, Horror franchise. Yes the comedy has been amped up much more since bride. But thats the point. Its the absurdism. Even from the inception of Childs Play. A possessed killer doll has always been an absurd concept :p.
I got your point Chris, I kind agree with it. Season 1 was a great season because it was only Chucky killing people in Hackensack, it was a simple, catchy and efficient plot but since season 2 it seems like the series aways tries to get more and more absurd. I LOVED the first episodes of season 3 because it was only about Chucky doing his things, killing guys here and there, but then they started with this ghost thing....
I just want chucky to feel creepy and scary again like how he did in curse of chucky
This opens the gate for Michael and Jason and pinhead
How
I love everything about Chucky idc if he’s being campy or funny but the kills still screams “I’m a threat and nobody’s safe”
Disappointed we didn’t see Dambala’s godly form and just looking like chucky
Yeah
Damabala is a higher power in its self so it can appear at any form it wants
we should *never* get to see Damballa's true form!
Chucky will kill Damballa next episode and cliffhanger will be God Chucky. 😂
@@blazingocean4206 Only 1 problem with that theory Chucky's powers come from Damballa. So if anything Damballa would destroy Chucky
me personally, this was my second favorite episode after that murder mystery episode from season 2. there’s just something so cool and scary about what they did this episode
wait, which one was the murder mystery one?
I'm kind of surprised you thought this episode had a more comedic side because I thought it was actually a tad creepy at times and more serious compared to what we've been getting from the franchise as of recent. Like I loved how Henry was the only one who could see Charles, and I liked how Charles was creeping around Lexi when she was asking about Caroline... it was actually creepy! I'm enjoying the whole ghost Chucky twist they've added. For one, because of Brad, duh lol I love him and so excited to see him in the show, and two, because I know this ghost thing will only be for this episode and the next. I doubt they'll bring this back for next season and we'll have regular old doll Chucky back. Idk lol I'm personally enjoying this new side to the show! and this is coming from an OG die hard Chucky fan.
The first season seems so different now. The characters felt like real people with real problems and personalities
Now every character that appears is just another body to the count, besides the main Trio
Good take
The show really is disconnected from the first season, I really wanted more of those flashback sequences to return but maybe we get to learn about tiffs past more 🤷🏻♀️
I was really sad when the fake president died like I preferred his character over the real one haha. I actually liked that scene where everyone is around the table whilst charles’ presence is right next to them, some bits of this episode did feel kinda random but nonetheless this might be my fav so far as a lot of things happened
This episode was crazy! I loved it! Also, keep up the awesome content 3C!
I agree with you I was mixed with this episode brad dourif was great as always but there's still so much to tell on this last episode
I am glad they are trying new things, and that there's a fun supernatural theme to this season, it saves it getting stale. I know Chucky gave you your big break here but I think maybe you've fallen out of love with it. Because this has been a lot of fun.
Yeah I kinda agree Jake became a background character now like wtf but season 4 better be green lit.
3C always brings us the best videos ❤
Ghosts are more ridiculous than a guy putting his soul in the body of a doll and able to walk and breathe and talk with no vocal chords, muscles, or lungs?
I thought buff Chucky was super stupid
he grew some organs I guess?
It’s not really ridiculous but it’s just out there and really different from chuckys past media that it feels weird. There were multiple points in this season where I had to stop and as what I was watching cause it just for some reason doesn’t feel like chucky
@@SillyBathDog Doesn't feel like Chucky?
Let's analyze Chucky.
We've had normal Chucky, military chucky, sex having Chucky, whacking off Chucky, Kung Fu Chucky, Chucky splitting his soul into other people/dolls like Voldemort, breastfeeding Chucky.
So what exactly is Chucky?
@@Pops-bh4nz well the standard in all of that is for the most part if not entirely chucky is a doll trying to either change his body or embracing the carnage. All of those things you mentioned are little one offs that happen as gags or shock factor and don’t affect the main story to much. Chucky in this season isn’t even a doll anymore and is now just a ghost. That’s why it doesn’t feel like chucky cause it isn’t anything like the other instances of chucky. Not that it’s bad but it’s hard to take it seriously when there’s normie kids that are just in the White House, chucky is old then nukes the North Pole, and again this is all taking place in the White House. That’s why it doesn’t feel like chucky it’s to out there almost
I definitely felt the same way about the main three characters especially Devon and Jake being sidelined. They’re so off to the side this season it feels like one of them can die at any moment.
Chucky being different doesnt mean it doesnt feel like chucky. Its just expanding the lore and the rules of the world. Its doing new things. And the trio are my favorite parts of the show!!! I hope they are much more involved next season.
Awesome video 3c films 😊
When I first watched this episode online, I watched it without background music and honestly, it made the episode more eerie and made the jokes more serious and not as goofy. It made me more comfortable with spirit concept and I was so invested. Even the ending being silent except for sound of the needle injections were so powerful. All the scares of and kills were actually eerie and fun. Having the background music off deftly upped my experience!
Love me some Chris to start the day
Definitely the best part of my day
I think the Chucky series is good, but its definitely not every fans cup of tea, the best way I can describe it is like going from child's play to bride and seed of Chucky, it's different from things in the past so not everyone will love it, but building out the more supernatural part of the franchise is good as aside from the soul splitting there hasn't been much
I mean I love the elevator scene. Plus the real him doing that laugh made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up like I was a kid again 😂
you made the best videos bro!
While i think the blood elevator scene was a reference to The Shining it seemed like a reference to Evil Dead Rise too as there is also a blood elevator scene almost similar to this one too!
These 2 episodes honestly have been my favorite in the whole franchise
Sooo like I’m just now realizing this….Abraham Lincoln walked past Chucky…… soooo he was a Dambalic!?
I’m so happy to see after all these years I remember why I subscribed. I watch your videos and it’s like you’re on the same exact wavelength. Don is expanding the universe yes but at the same time he’s managing to shrink it at the same time…. If that makes sense.
Crazy just noticed youtube unsubscribed me from you WTF? No wonder I wasn’t seeing chuckyboi, been subbed since before the lead up to CP2019 😂
Genuinely how are roaming spirits more ridiculous than people transferring their spirits into dolls, I don't see the issue 💀
and Chucky becoming *more human* while inside the doll
Well when you put it on a surface level like that, of course it won't sound bad
But this definitely is a lame execution. White House is probably the worst setting choice imo.
From voodoo doctor to White House murder, nuke, ghost kids/people, etc...just send Chucky to space with Jason at this point 💀. Cause this is getting comically stupider. I just watch cause I like Chucky and the main 3.
Even though I don't like Chucky, it's fun to see your reviews. Keep them up man
The ghost aspect feels like is making the show a bit different then a Chucky tv series
Man singing the OG Chucky doll at the beginning of the episode 7! from the early 90s from Child's Play 1 and Child's Play 2 and Child's Play 3 man brought back so much nostalgia that was so cool Don Mancini man he really knows horror movies and horror fans😅❤❤😊
Wish it was Andy that was going to the spirit realm!
Andy can stay out of the series now, his arc kind of ended last season
of course I still love him and he's still important but I feel like he's done enough for now
@@Xeorboommaybe he'll show up in the movie
Dude, the immediate response to the show, should not be, “bring back this older character, for no other reason, than I want to see him have to relive his abuse” We can’t js bring back Kyle, or Andy, for literally no reason, other than bc they are older characters, the only way to get better, is to move forward, not back. Retreading old material, would js make the show, or the movie that’s coming out soon, so much worse. I would be happy to see them come back, but they serve no purpose in the series anymore.
TLDR: Would be happy to see them back, but don’t think there’s any purpose that they could serve in the series as a whole.
@@Xeorboom His arc isn't over until Chucky is completely dead. They're probably saving him for the next movie.
@@kingvampstan They 100% serve a purpose in the series. Their goal is to killed Chucky so he can stop killing innocent people. If Andy would to find out that Chucky tried to nuke the world, then he will totally come after him. That's just the type of person Andy is. Moving forward has so far made the show worse...
I loved this episode…I love where the franchise is going
My dude you keep on hitting the nail on the wall! The execution on how they are showing this feels all over the place tbh and yes like you say ridiculous maybe a bit too much. The scare factor while it may show up from time to time isn't really there anymore like the older films and feels too silly and the other important thing the stakes like is this really the end for Tiffany and Charles? Frankly, no given how many times they've escaped death at this point and it just sad that there really seems to be no true end to the villains but the heroes keep losing their love ones. Them being in the white house should feel more impactful like this should be the end game of where they go but now it's kinda thrown out of the way for the spirit dimension? At that point why even have it be in the white house when his soul could be haunting anywhere else. Man I didn't even realize it until you said it but Jake really doesn't feel like the main character now like they sidelined him so much compared to the first 2 seasons! Man the fact that this is Brad's last line of work as he says he's retired from everything else but this franchise makes me think maybe they should end it sooner rather than later as we know he can't keep playing the character forever.
I think the sad fact of the matter is Chucky as a whole has run its course.
Yeah it just has to end there really isn’t a lot to tell no more Don really has to end it
Nah
@@SlayerXGamez don has alot more to tell.
@@JamStan1978 its been the same chucky since 88. how does one have more to tell 😭

Can't wait for the finale and see what leads up to season 4 I never want this show to end
Tiffany was 100 percent shot with the same needle that kills you for 5 mins
i personally loved this episode, it was so full of chaos
Honestly the ghost aspect makes it seem more serious than it has in a while.
This version of Chucky the whole series is amazing! Funny and serious at the same time!
Yeah, loved the episode, just rollin' with all the weird stuff they wanna do 🙌
Knuckles Series tomorrow let's go please
I agree with you I'm kinda not feeling the whole spirit realm thing, hopefully, next season reverts back to the original formula
Man, I wanted to see Tiffany back in the Bella doll again!
Season 3 a fever dream compared to season 1 & 2 😅
This episode was GOOD IDK what your talking about
ive always wanted them to explore the supernatural element
Also season 2 was not that bad
Agree. I love S2 , especially Nadine
I agree!
@@dudemondudeangel1956 FINALLY SOMEONE WHO AGREES
Season 2 was TERRIBLE
@@keithnayo4582 No
the paranormal investigator guy looked like pee wee herman playing eleven from stranger things.
And Paul Reubens just died last year, too.
8:09 I see a nod to The Shining but I also see a nod to Ghost Ship at the scene when Epps falls into the pool, but then it fills up with blood as we see nothing but then when we go under the blood, we see the victims, which I see this scene doing a similar thing that we see Charles while we're seeing above the blood only to see Chucky when we go under.
I was just happy to see Brad Dourif "in the flesh" lmao. I love this man.
If they're going to go this crazy, I'm glad they're doing it in the TV show, I hope when they go back to movies it's more grounded and back to it's roots
It took me a second to correlate this spiritual realm theme to the plots we were introduced through the Child’s Play installments. Making the connection and you can see that even if the physical embodiment of Chucky was taken down, through his power of Dumballa his essence was able to linger allowing him to resurrect whether it was electrocuting the factory worker once he was reassembled at the start of Child’s Play 2 or when his blood mixed in with the plastic used to make the dolls at the beginning of Child’s Play 3. In this episode it is blood that give Chucky power to prey on his victims while he in the spiritual world. I’m not too bothered by the level of campiness as long as not on the level of Seed of Chucky campiness. I had feeling that the guard was gonna get hit by a car and the moment I started to dismiss it boom, that jump scare scared the crap out of me and I typically don’t fall victim to many jump scares so well done 😂
Im with you Chris its been going off the rails . We need scary dark chucky back !!
The ending shows only one injection atually being pushed. Must be Jake's and Tiffany escapes somehow.
Day 103 of asking Cris to bring back "Reading negative reviews on movies I love"

You’re doing Dog’s work…
I’m enjoying it!
I am so excited for the finale next week
I anticipating this episode finale right now more than taking my cdl test on Monday 😅😅
The ghost stuff sounded weird but for some reason I’m digging it.
Great episode. I'm not sure how I feel about this season. Season 2 was my absolute favorite. HOWEVER, this episode was excellent. I loved the tiff stuff and the ghost stuff.
idk if its me but this episode definitely had alot of good horror to it alot of jumps got me and it felt fresh and new
Oh man, that cliffhanger was so great. The last two episodes were both really good, im so stoked for the finale. Is this the end of the show?
Oh, I almost forgot to drop this here yesterday. Didn't anyone else notice the Idle Hands reference as Randall hurts his hand by punching the secret serviceman?
As he recoils, he holds his twitching right hand with the left and looks at both his hand and the serviceman in fear. For just those couple seconds, it felt like a real sequel to Idle Hands.
tbf cris, i loved this story. i'm not too fond of the ghost themes but i really like to think of the chucky tv series or maybe even the franchise itself as an anthology with its different genres. i appreciate that dambella is sorta cosied with this ghost storyline as it doesn't make the story too far out from being not chucky anymore. if this out of place story introduces a soft reboot for the character and franchise then i'd appreciate this even more. kinda like the bi-generation subplot in the doctor who 60th specials.
i really like the direction they’re goin in
This episode had no damn right to be this good interesting and entertaining
Alright just a long shot @3cfilms I think this week we’ll tmr … everyone is in the ghost realm Tiffany just died .. so now Chucky is going to talk to her in the spirit rhelm then I think he’s going to beg dembala for her to go back to but regardless if he goes back he can bring her back because she has never done dembala wrong
Broo I loved this episode 😂
Why does Chucky as a living doll seem so very terrifying, but when ever we see Brad Douriff, he just seems like your odd but friendly neighbor.
At first I was seriously hyped watching the episode, thought it was easily the best episode in the whole tv series but on rewatch a realized a lot of the problems you pointed out. When they brought Charles back, I thought he would be the real deal, since chucky is more goofy and unserious all the time, I thought it would be a nice chance that Charles was serious. He was ok, I enjoyed when he was on screen but I just prefer him being actually scary
I actually really liked this episode it was a great mix of the serious and comedy. I will say I the kills were so disappointing after all the carnage candy we had then these boring kills delivered to us in this episode sucks. I was also really annoyed that they keep trying to emphasis good chucky was an actual thing like clearly it wasn’t. Like Jake stfu you’re going back to the S2 version that ruined his character for me. I loved seeing Brad Douriff in the physical role again he really ate up that performance. I also loved seeing Nica again anytime she’s on screen she’s always giving a great performance. The kids were actually doing something once again which is nice to see.
The past 2 seasons have been mixed for me. I want to like it. I fuckin love chucky, but this is not it. And it's frustrating cause Don can do great chucky. He has before both with writing and directing. So I know he can deliver. But seasons 2 and 3 have been one cool thing after the next only to cancel it out with something stupid and way too campy.
Wrong
Agreed but to me this White House stuff is like to crazy I can’t get into it
To me this season felt like chucky that we all know and love. Season one and two, especially two was quite over the top, though both had some of the best deaths. I was never a fan of bride and seed of chucky. Season three Is more serious and scary than the last 2 and quite frankly I find chucky more terrifying as a ghost than a doll.
Im with you on being offput by the whole ghost thing but seeing Brad Dourif argue with Dambella manifested into a good guy doll was funny as hell
The paranormal expert guy annoys me 😂But I agree that it is so awkward and weird. Could’ve done something better with him
Very good can't wait for 8
