Thank you for the video. I have a couplle questions I hope you can assist me with: 1. What type of blades would be best to cut plywood? 2. What number setting to cut plywood? 3. I just purchased this jigsaw. Do you think this would be adequate to cut straight strips of wood? 4. The plywood I will be cutting into might have some pieces of metal (metal fasteners left inside the plywwod).. Do you recommend a specific type of blade for this? Thank you!
I have a dcs334 but there's no video fir it. They putthe bkade in but they dont show what hole. Some of us never used a dang jig before and they need to cater to the dummy
@@ToolsElectroDIY I thought the DCS 334 and DCS 334B were the exact same except the 334B was the bare tool only & the 334 came with the battery.... I had bought the 334B and the DCS356B XR Oscillating Multi-Tool. Then I just picked up a two pack of the 5.0Ah XR Batteries. Wound up being cheaper that way...
@@2112Fade2Black you are correct. 3 or 4 letters and then a 3 or 4 digit number - that's the model. The letter is the type of battery included with the tool, or B if it's "B"are tool, then the number after the added letter is the number of batteries included.

worst Jig saw I have ever owned. Horribly engineered. couldn't cut a strait line if your life depended on it. I'll give anybody 2 million dollars if they can cut a straight line with it
@@ToolsElectroDIY Cheers mate! My only slight issue was that it's slightly heavier than I was expecting but it's a solid and quality tool. I love dewalt gear.
Just got mine like 2 days ago, excellent 👌 tool
Glad u like it too
I really like your safety procedure when blade changing. Well done. Good video. Thank you.
Thanks 👍

1. Wood blades are fine for plywood.
2. medium to fast
3. Use a straight edge.
4. Use metal blade.
Thank you!!!!

Does it blow the sawdust off the line? How do you know what speed to cut at?
I think so
Does it require dewalt own brand blades for the quick release mechanism to work properly?
It should be a universal fit but I don't have other blades for testing.
Any t-shank blade will work
Nice review 💯 Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
great video ! appreciate the information .
Any time!
Orbital action leaver. What does it do. What uses can use by using one of those dials
cutting pattern?
It helps when making turns and curves in your cuts
Does it have a blower?
I think so
Great review. Thanks
My pleasure. Smash the LIKE and SUB :)
We're are your other fittings what come with it like dust extractor plastic blade gaurd and another plastic bit shaped like a arrow
No
Mine didn't come with a dust extractor
I just got mine less than a week ago, i have a question though! Can i cut 4/4 wood using this tool??
No. Too deep. Unless you have a long speciality blade.
Would it cut the curve line on wood?
Yes it will
lol that's whole point, look up relief cuts
@@comedymax1970 lol good point.
Is there a way to change the depth of the blade for this jigsaw?
I don't think so
Buy a longer blade
is it authentic?
Yes
I have a problem with my jigsaw, it rattles in the handle. 😊
Oh no! contact dewalt customer support
return it
I like it
Thanks

interesting, good to know
That’s exactly what I needed to know. Does anyone know of a Jig Saw that can cut straight, blade doesn’t wobble?
No good jigsaw very fast drain a battery
which jigsaw slowly drains a battery with the same performance as the DeWALT one?
Recieved mine an hour ago. Tools are fucking awesomeness. Feels like Christmas
Glad you like this tool too!
