Read the coppelion manga. Finally I'm invested in a manga series but I'm apalled that the coppelion series received little to no merchandises despite having an anime series. I know the anime series flopped but the songs for the series are great. I mean like the series had potentials but it kinda got wasted, the manga series is great in its own terms - more contents and intriguing plot to follow through, the ending teared me up. _Man, I never got so emotional for a series..._
@@thevoid8544 They only managed to do the first eighty or something chapters without any mention of radiation on screen, but further into plot it becomes so widespread it's impossible to avoid that (like explaining Dr. Coppelius' serum and Meisa and Mana's defect), and with their stupid ban on mentioning atomic bombs, radiation and stuff on TV shows they will never make any sequel.

There is a ban on mentioning atomic weapons and radiation in anime, movies and TV series in Japan, and they managed to avoid that in the first and so far only season (only foreign dubs like English and German mention radiation and radioactivity). So, considering how much the plot revolves around that in further chapters, I doubt they'll make a sequel series.

The adaptation sucks monkey balls even though the manga is one of my top 10 of all time along with Naoki Urasawa's finest.
