Thanks for addressing this subject which most people avoid. It was helpful for singleness to be recognised and empathised with for those who feel they don't want to be and for professionals to fo this. Although lots of people can struggle with this, its a different thing if you are single at 30 to, 45, 55, 60 etc. In fact, if you don't want singleness, the unaddressed pain can just grow. People who are abit older may also have to deal with the possibility of never having children and are left to deal with that pain all alone. From a female perspective, as well as men from the Church who are scared to talk to openly in case they don't get the response they want, I have seen quite a few guys with unreasonable expectations of you physically. I noticed that when I was in my 20s and 30s with men in their 50s-70s feeling it was appropriate for them to try and get involved with someone my age. Those guys don't look at the quality of your character as meaning as much as fresh flesh. It would be understandable if they met the expectations themselves. Some of them hang around outside youth events or go to poorer countries where they can leverage economics to land themselves a much younger lady. Sometimes, as 'religious' as they may feel, in this sense, they are no different to the men out there in the world.

Also, married people aren't necessarily perfectly developed. We single people gave often bern around married people when their behavior towards their spouse is cruel or otherwise embarrassing. Yes, you woul expect to find more people with emotional struggles who are single, but it certainly doesn't stop them all from finding someone. I had certain challenges when I was young and there was little understanding, awareness or help in those days. Now I am living with the consequences of the delays that caused. Its never too late for God to do something for you... I am definitely not 20 anymore and not sure I would feel confident ro take on a man now.

Yeah, thanks for talking about this topic. It’s at emergency levels of danger to our culture. Tons of people are simply withdrawing and we can sustain humanity that way.
