- Solar Commander with Fortress eFlex LiFePO4 Batteries. I converted a 20' Shipping Container into a Solar Powered Office using Fortress Power eFlex LiFePO4 Batteries. This is the first container conversion where we use the eFlex battery and I will be using them again soon.
Update: two more eFlex batteries were recently added. Watch here: • UPDATE: Battery Expans... Хобби
These smallish standalone systems interest me the most. You’ve gained some really good real life experience.
My inspiration came many many years ago from a magazine called Home Power magazine. There was an article called Take Your Bedroom Off the Grid. The same principle applies here. I have applied that principle hundreds of times. ;-)
This is perfect! I would like to have a longer container turned into a small gym with one long-side made of sliding glass door or maybe two 40fters connected together.
You have just won a new subscriber. You are very thorough in your explanations.
Awesome and happy you got this done!
Subscribed! I really like the Solar Commander!
Love this. I’ll have to rewatch and take good notes. Thank you for all this practical info. Seems less intimidating now!
That looks a lot like central Texas. I wouldn't mind a setup like that.
Awesome small scale install, looking to do the same on my home office!
That’s amazing. So proud of you.
Best part of the video...."i'll make it happen" That is rare today.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Real nice setup!
Very cool!!
Yes sistema 🔋🔌💡👍
Heavens, the cost of those batteries is more like the national debt!! It must be nice.
You could collect water off those
I’ve been milling that around in my mind, watching the pattern of how rain collects on the panels. I might make a small gutter system for the solar arrays around the property. We do use rain water for our primary water supply. It’d be great to add more collection.
Whats the cost for those batteries?🔋
I think the normal price is $3,850 each for the battery. Inverter, solar panels and shipping containers are separate. 🤓
Or just get 8x those Zoom batteries and make 48 volt system and for get it.
300 bucks each would be about 2400 dollars for the batts.
I’ve never here of updating you battery
I just uploaded a new video with additional new batteries.
Awesome off grid office, all of that solar isn't just for the office I'm thinking,I'll check those batteries out. Btw i subscribed but RUclips wouldn't let me hit your bell because it said your content is made for children lol.
