What am I missing, lotus in America if famous for poor workmanship.
for me is egal the motor! Lotus is fort my the best experience for the driver......
That’s one side but realy more importent the money CHINA!!!😱
Is a Rolls-Royce worth buying with a BMW engine
It's a Toyota block the rest is lotus built but I hope the engine accessories starters pumps etc. Is Toyota
The 4 cyl is a Mercedes built that does not make it better ! A Toyota base is absolutely better for 4 cyl
I don't give a dam about anything
Im going to buy it in future in USA
it has a Mercedes AMG engine
I have a bmw engine in my Supra.
Yes. Merc = poverty spec
If you buy this there's only one way, you buy it with the Mercedes engine not the Toyota, WTH are you thinking?
I think it will be the 4cyl from the A45 and not the A45s, which means lower BHP and won't sound as good.
The V6 manual will be the best selling option for this car.
In the UK at least the V6 manual will greatly outnumber the amg 4 pot. The car will largely be bought by the more ‘mature’ driver who has the money for one of these as part of their collection. If it were a track car, then that may skew the numbers towards dct option, but it isn’t. Toyota engine sounds great too!!!
@@garysmith1477 the 2.0 merc engine with the dct will no doubt be the best selling of the 2 but that means that the real gem will be the 3.5 v6 manual if you just want to cruise and showoff then the merc 2.0 is for you but the 3.5 manual will probally be a future classic and will hold its value far better and to mention lotus having been running this toyota v6 like forever so reliability and parts will be easy to soruce and cheap in fact it might even appriciate in the future to come as ev cars starts taking over people will long for the day of cars with manual box and high reving engine note for nostalgic sake this is trully the best and final hurrrah of a classic sports car.
