OMG, i do *love* the snow....miss it here for years. The #1 thing i would do, is to grab my camera, and up into the woods...the forest, when its snowing...and catch some landscapes.
Awesome video as usual, Steven. Thanks for sharing your trip and your photographs. Amazing how there is such a variation in the weather within the space of a 40min train journey.
Your video is so well made, different from many others, intriguing and makes we want more. Thank you for giving me such a beautiful view of Japan. Subscribed.
Thank you Steven for another beautiful video. I think Japan must be the most beautiful country in the world, in any season, and your videos and still images certainly do it justice. Thank you so much for your work.
Another informative & relaxing video. Thank you. Maybe a video comparing this lens to a Leica 35mm? And how about the Thypoch 28/1.4? Will you be reviewing that one soon?
Thanks very much for a fascinating video through the Hokuriku area in Japan. There is an ocean of videos on travel and street photography on RUclips. Yet I find certain qualities in those of yours somehow keep drawing me in. I can't tell what they're, just yet. One thing is I stopped shooting with films back some 20 years ago. I could as I still have a Nikon F2 and FM2 around, but probably won't pick them up until I can develop the film myself.
@@StevenTanno A video on film developing is great. Really look for to seeing it. On top of the technical knowhow and skills required with film development, there is also the space to store chemicals and to undertake the process. No easy task in small living space. It should also be interesting to see how available the supplies would be in this era of digital photography. My only thought of doing development myself had to be some four decades ago. 😅
I have visited Kanazawa on two different occasions . Most recently in January 2024, with my Topcon RE Super - just after the earthquake. I always look forward to coffee and toast at Higashide Coffee. My wife and I love that cafe.
You are a master story teller. The crazy world just stops when i watch your videos. Thank you.
Thanks:))
Thank you for bringing us on this adventure. What a wonderful video.

Absolutely brilliant in every aspect. Thank you, Steven.
I've just brewed my coffee, now watching this. Best to enjoy a great video.

Hello
What flash is it ?
A Metz I bought it a long time ago actually.
@@StevenTanno thanks for response
I had a Metz like this but was afraid to use it on recent M because of the high voltage on trigger
That is quite a nonsensical comment with the porsche opel analogy. To each their own!
Using Leica body with no leica lens is like to have Porsche with engine from Opel.
Leica M lens is outdated.
