You were my first round opponent at zulus 1k and i was silently cursing the tournament software when i saw you had han. There were 3 matchups i didnt want with cunning Sabine the mirror, double blue iden and han…i ended up on the bubble losing to the mirror, blue iden and your han lol.
Congrats on all the success. I only played that one match with you but i came away impressed with your play skill and how gracious and friendly you were while crushing lol. That match stuck in my head afterwards so much so i put the deck together. Havent had a chance to play it yet but i have to imagine Han will be quite relevant in set 2 as well.
Great video! I really like how you went in depth on how to win against each of the other decks and what to side in out ! I’m not sure if Han is the best but for me he’s definitely one of the most fun to play !
Great to see you making content! I liked the format here. -Loopee
Amazing video! Thank you so much! I'm a Han "Main" myself and still find your video really helpful. What would you consider the new big ones in Set 2? You think Han (yellow) will remain competitive?
Great video! You smoked me with this deck at Vegas and Mon Mothma was the MVP against my Boba Fett leader. Good games!
Great tech. Awesome to see Han get love!
I play Han since the beginning and I find the Iden blue hard control machup super hard for him. I made 2 top4 out of 4 showdowns with him.
You say that Han is an answer to Childsen, but I had some situation when he was Childsen 6/6 and then vigilance the turn after and put a shield on it, it was very hard to get back on my feet after that and lost way too much tempo. All the healing is awfull too if you dont push enough damages early. Vigilance at 4 is really hurting.
Against Palp, yeah you really need the change of heart, without it, it's super hard when he steals a Han or an Home one (and sometimes you dont really have the choice to push the damages).
And the Chirrut force throw machup is just awfull too, I didn't find a good solution against it. Luke is pretty tough too.
Blue Iden:
Instead of playing your early units and pushing damage as if you’re an aggro deck. Just hang back, keep all your powerful cards, and start dropping your big threats back to back to back (U-Wings and Home Ones cycling Falcon). I agree that Childsen shield is annoying but you have many small units you can sacrifice to ping it off. At worst, just send an ambush unit into it and follow it up with Han. Once you sideboard the Bodhi in they really stand no chance.
For Chirrut:
Make sure you hold a Leia for the Chirrut deploy and exhaust him.
For Luke:
This matchup can have a lot of variance, at times it’s tough while other times it feels so easy. The MVP cards here are Waylay and U-Wing. You essentially become an aggro deck, push as much damage as you can early, go as wide as possible and bounce back their threat units with Waylay. One last note, they cannot stop your Han from going 5 to 7 resources so always drop a U-Wing or Han unit early.
Our lgs plays and tests against this deck, easy to beat. We have 30 players. Its good, but not best. Hopefully theres never a “best” deck, because that equals broken , unbalanced game, and bans. And bans are detrimental and terrible
