It's said early on in the show that Mark has 99% viltrumite dna, due to the viltrumites being stronger in every way. Mark is 1% human, which is the side that makes mark able to have adrenaline and become stronger in rage surges (viltrumites doesn't) - so not really something that puts him at disadvantage. So yeah, marky is more of a viltrumite, but that's like 0.5% or something.

Beyond just the shock of Mark being sexually assaulted. It is a major step towards acknowledging when sex crimes are committed against men and treating them with the same care as when it happens to women.

I think that's kind of the point of her and a lot of characters in Invincible too. A lot of bad people in Invincible don't get redeemed or get punished for their actions and simply just keep going.
Mark did the right thing leaving him on earth, Marky needed to be with his family he grew up with but also Mark could have done a better job by keeping in touch.

A lot of victims become suicidal or have their lives ruined, and some even do end it all. So I'd say it's at least on par, if not worse because your life, while you still have it, is forever tarnished by the trauma.

I gotta say, I really enjoyed her introduction into the Amazon Prime series, though I am not really looking for that particular moment between her & Mark being adapted. Also, I was surprised that she was remodeled a bit in the show that she resembles Sasha Calle's Supergirl.

@@waitforjake Maybe it was for shock value initially, but it's impact was permeated throught out the comic leaving a huge emotional scar on Mark; the only reason she was never punished was because Mark prevented everyone from hurting Anissa and when he became king he didn't want to punish her despite Omni-man,Eve and Allen wanting to do something about it.
Plus it was important in comics; it showed even a powerful man like Mark could be a victim and it treated Mark's trauma with respect on not the butt of a joke.
If they remove it it will be due to people sensibilities not because it will make the better.

At the end of the day, he is still Mark’s son, and I found it ironic and beautiful that his son, a child born because of unfortunate circumstances, would be the one to carry Mark’s superhero name, Invincible, and continue his legacy on Earth.

There can be many factors or arguments between which of the two would be next in line and a lot of pros and cons for both of them.
For starts, which one was born first? Because if the line of succession comes down to who was born first, regardless of gender, then I think Markie was born first and thus would technically be next in line, but if I’m wrong and it’s Terra who’s the eldest then she would be next leading empress.
Then it comes to the pros and cons. For Terra, I think she was born out of wedlock like Markie, however her parents are married and are the Emperor and Empress of the Empire. She has also grown up with, fought with, and lived with the Viltrumites for nearly all her life and thus knows the ins and outs of their culture under Mark’s leadership. Eve is also practically immortal and could even outlive Mark so Terra could have her mother to support her claim. However, she is also rather spoiled, entitled, and generally less mature and fitting of the mantle of leadership and all its responsibilities compared to Mark, and I don’t think even her mother, Eve, would side with Terra if she believes that leadership wouldn’t be the right future for her daughter and her lack of support would be detrimental to Terra’s claims.
As for Markie, he has lived on Earth, protected the planet and it’s people as a Hero, and grew up through many of the general lessons and experiences that Mark went through to be the wise and powerful ruler he was now and after their mending of their relationship, Markie grow up to be more like his father who was an incredibly good and compassionate ruler to his people. I still suspect that he is the eldest of the two, and thus could have a stronger claim chronologically. And if it comes down to Viltrumite blood purity, Markie is the producer between two Viltrumites, one a half-human, making Markie quarter human, compared to Terra. However, Markie hasn’t lived or experienced how to be a Viltrumite like his sister did and would be at a disadvantage in knowing how to properly lead the empire or understand his people’s wants and needs. Plus, while Terra might also be born out of wedlock, Markie was the product of rape between Anissa and Mark, so the stigma of that act could weaken his claims.
Ultimately, I feel like if the series continued and we have this conflict arise between the two half-siblings, it could come down to which of them is stronger as that is ultimately what Viltrumites respect above all else: power. So, whomever is stronger than the other would probably become the new leader after Mark.
Personally, I would root for the underdog that is Markie since he grew up much like Mark did, worked to live up to his father’s legacy as a Earth superhero like him, and because, story telling wise, it would make for a more compelling and tense drama if Terra were to rebel and desire a power-hungry Vitrum Empire while Markie had to choose whether to grant her mercy like Nolan did to Thragg or put an end to her for good like Mark did with Thragg. Plus, despite Markie’s attack on his dad, Markie is way more sympathetic and likeable compared to Terra. But again, personal opinion coming from someone who only half-remembers the lore enough to forget who was born first.

Nope that’s not how viltrumite DNA works. Mark will stay as the strongest because humans are stated to be the perfect mate for viltrumites, keeping all of their viltrumite abilities completely intact but granting them the capability to feel adrenaline, which pure viltrumites cannot. Mark js 99% viltrumite because the viltrumite DNA is so pure. That 1% human gives him his adrenaline though, which Marky lost most of, making him a less superior version of invincible. Also not to mention Argalls blood is more pure in mark than it is in Marky.
@@tangoedits_ Well when it comes to Human genetics, the 50% of DNA from Mark could any combination of different human and Viltrumite genes (like 50% Anissa, 49% Mark, and the same 1% human from Mark), so there’s no way to tell if Marky did or didn’t get adrenaline unless it is explicitly stated or shown. I will say however the odds aren’t in his favor, however it might be in others’. Because the other viltrumites bred with humans, they could indeed have a child that will surpass Mark at some point. I won’t take into account Argall because it doesn’t mean much, the only special thing about his bloodline being that they have high resistance to the scourge virus. So if we take someone like one of Kregg’s many children, they may be able to reach Mark’s level if they go through the same amount of insane shit that he did.

Honestly i feel bad for Marky. Once his earth dad and Debbie are gone he's effectively alone. Sure he has his sister Molly but she dosn't have to deal with the burden of being a product of rape. Even though he knows Mark loves him deep down he knows he's just a painful reminder of what his mother did to him and that he wasn't even supposed to be born.
Worse he has to deal with the immense burden of being the emperor's son who nobody knows about and his legacy as invincible but can never live up to due to his dad having outgrown it plus his sister Terra being groomed to be the future queen of the empire who's clearly a spoiled brat who had everything handed to her and was born through love not hate.
I wish we could get a sequel series to see how Marky ends up he didnt ask to for any of this. If only Anissa didn't he'd at least have her and she'd explain to him why she did what she did.

Technically if he fights the same caliber of opponents that Mark did through his story he could definitely surpass him in strength and speed. Mark is half human and marky is full bred viltrumite. With the same genes he’s more pure than mark with the same heritage that they come from.

Making Mark at the time of his sons conception more like 90% or more. And if the right sperm that happened to have no human dna then conceivablely Marky could be 100% from the get go or if not so close he will be by adulthood.

Emperor Of The Universe hopefully in peace and Earth will have his sons or daughters as Hero's and possibly Omin Man's name will fly again in a future where peace and knowledge and perhaps humanity are the betterment of the United universe for generations. Peace is a better world for us everywhere.

If anybody is wondering: Annissa took interest in Mark when she found out he defeated Conquest. Much like your typical Viltrimite, She values strength above anything else and Mark defeating conquest, twice, set her panties on fire basically. So this is why she started watching and stalking Mark as potential father for her child.
I don’t see how they can omit this huge side on Mark from the animated series 😭. Yes it’s a very serious topic but it’s always crucial to the overall story ark of Mark and the viltimites! Really hopping this doesn’t get removed

Considering that Markus surpassed his father in powers, experience and biology(being half viltrumite and half human viltrumite) it stands that Markus is probably one of the strongest beings in the universe

Yes in the chapter you saw thousands of viltrumites and all of thier spouses lining up to board the viltrumite ship.
They were given a choice. The viltrumite-human hybrids went with their parents but since Marky and his sister were Anissa’s children they stayed with her husband Scott, who wanted to remain on Earth. If Anissa were still alive then they might’ve joined the others in space but Scott had no real connection to the others who left Earth and he likely wanted to live out the rest of his days on his own home world.
Was Marky's sister from Scott, a biological daughter of Anissa or not hers?
God Debbie is so cool. There are plenty of people who wouldn’t even try associating with a child who was conceived out of the assault of their son, like that’s genuinely her right to do so, and it would be understandable. But Marky is genuinely innocent and she understands that.
