OMG… I was just thinking about you. Thought we wouldn’t get a video from you for a couple weeks because you were on vacation. And here you are. I haven’t even watched the video yet but glad you decided to come on from Japan.
Oh my days! I LOVE Japan! When l lived & worked in Korea 2014-2016 l had the chance to go to Japan. It was awesome here in the U.S. you could be on the plane for 8 hours & still be in the same country. Anyway, l flew from Pusan South Korea to Fukoka (sp) Japan & it only took 45 minutes to be in a different country. It just showed me how BIG America is. Oh l noticed the streets & throughout the cities were so clean & the Japanese people were very polite & honest. 💗💓💕❤️
Awwww, that’s amazing!! I agree! The United States is just so large compared to so many countries! We traveled from Tokyo as far south as Hiroshima, and it didn’t take very long at all!
Rebekah you are by far my favorite reseller who makes thrifting content that is relatable (I love it when you say the phrase “it can sell for GOOD money” and I smile every time 😊) However (lol, always a “but”), I find myself sometimes getting frustrated lately when you do your monthly breakdowns - which again, I LOVE YOU for taking time to share, and appreciate the work you put into it - bc the “girl math” reminds me way too much of the “Six Figure” resellers who fudge their numbers to exaggerate how successful they are for YT views and engagement (or for whatever other deep-seated psychological issue that drives them to boast/brag). Not factoring in your cost of goods on personal items you’ve sold or traded for or whatever; those items were not “free”, unless they truly cost you nothing (I don’t think the store was giving out free clothes when Jeremy acquired his piece that sold). For instance, YES, of course you consider your expense to own the Doc Maryens you traded to your sister as the COG for her Tim that sold…you’re still killing it babe, without the fluff 😊 Also, just a word to the wise my sweet friend: we see how meticulous you are with each step of your process, and again THANK YOU SO MUCH for the genuinely educational and helpful your channel is! But the “girl math” seems to resurface occasionally, by way of your forgetfulness as to wha your COG was on certain lower-sale items (“I don’t know I think I got it at a yard sale for a quarter”)…girl, we know that YOU know exactly how much it cost, you do an inventory spreadsheet and research every single piece. It’s starting to feel like you get particularly forgetful when the margin wasn’t there. We all know you’re better than all of us at this and you are a ROCKSTAR babe. No need to try to gloss over the averageness of some sales with selective memory, everyone has expressed their shock at poor Q4 performance. Please hear this with an open mind, as it’s not shared to hurt or ridicule . I truly hope you can accept my constructive criticism when moving forward, as I know I canno be alone in noticing this trend. You’re an authority figure in this genre and I think your honesty and relatability is what draws your community in. I hope your vacation recharged your batteries and gave you some juch-needed peace and You Time ❤❤❤
I totally understand your comment, and I know exactly what you’re talking about! I also have realized lately that as I’m doing this for longer and longer, that I’m having more trouble remembering where I got things and for how much! I don’t write that place or number down usually, I’ve always just relied on my excellent memory! But I noticed the same thing when watching myself back this time; I think I need to start writing more down on my SKU end to help myself in the future. I appreciate your constructive criticism, and I hope you know that I really am not trying to be deceitful at all! But I’ll pay closer attention in the future! 😊❤️
@RebekahAllison so sad. I convinced my son to go to Hello Kitty Land. He thought it was so much better than he imagined as he is not in any way a Hello Kitty fan. He went so he could show us how it looked on videos. He kept saying how cute and he is not one to do that.
I’m so glad you’re having such an amazing time in Japan! 💗🙌🏻

Enjoy your holiday and thrifty adventures
Thanks for sharing helps me so much 😊
You are the cutest love your videos
Do they have thrift stores in Japan? That would be the most fascinating “thrift with me”!
Dedication hah 👍🙂. Have a blast!
Have you went to thrift stores in Japan? What are they like?
I have!!! Video coming soon! 😉
You are on the same coast as my son, he lives in Toyama City!
My son was stationed in Japan with the Navy. Did you get to go to Disney or Hello Kitty Lands? My son thought they were amazing .
We haven’t gone to either one unfortunately! I couldn’t convince my husband to do it!

Did you mean to control-v to paste and instead hit B?
Probably!!!
