The app could use a feature where we can upload, download, and share our custom animations and drawings. For example, it would be cool if more people could have the sailor moon blinking.
I just ordered a led mask for my client from China. It can do text with scrolling, color gradients, pictures, gif, and handwriting texts. Once it arrives, I'll test it. It also has a pouch for mask filter insert.
I got the matrix and made one of the masks on your earlier design, with slight modifications for myself. Unfortunately, something happened with the matrix panel as the power and control lead snapped off. It's not much of an issue for me, as I can repair it, but just for others to be aware that it is a weak point and would recommend some form of reinforcement. Otherwise a great mask, I used it a lot for skating and got some praise for it at the rink!
sorry to hear! if you reach out at support @ lumencouture.com with your original order# we can get you a new panel so you don't have to worry about repairing it yourself.
@@LumenCouture Oh thank you very much for the offer, I got it from a different supplier, as postage was murder from the US when I was first ordering it. I really appreciate that, also, I'll be honest, I do enjoy soldering, so repairing it is fun :D
I just got the mask. It's great. But the custom animation mode is a bit frustrating for someone who isn't artistically inclined. If you could make it so users could share custom animations, you would soon have a library of 100s of awesome animations.
I was wondering could you draw animation that would work with the music as an equalizer moving along with the music?🤔 I just ordered mine on Amazon keep doing what it is you do can't wait to receive it 💪🏿💯
I have a question about the mask. Let's say you have a mouth on the mask, does it move in sync with your actual mouth when you talk or not? If not then that's ok.
The mask itself doesnt have a microphone for that but I bought the flexible LED matrix and it should be arriving today so I'm going to try to replace the microcontroller with one that I program myself and I have a small and cheap max4466 microphone that I'm going to try to hook up with it so that I can have mouth movement sync up. Down the line I might also make it so the led mask and microphone could be used as a Bluetooth mic for your phone.
Sorry to hear! It shouldn't take more than 2 hours. If you're experiencing battery issues, please email support@lumencouture.com and we can get a replacement to you.
@@LumenCouture Thought I should mention that my mask takes more like 3-4 hours to charge and that's not even from empty. The battery holds a charge and is working perfectly fine though. I have 4 more coming in soon so I'll see if it's the same across them all. I might try swapping out the battery tho and see how it performs. Supposedly it can do up to 4.2V but its using a 3.7V battery so I might be able to get the mask a little brighter so it shows through better.
Just ordered mine, it’s arriving Monday 😁 Question: I downloaded the app because I wanted to make some designs for when mine comes in, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to use color in the designs. Do you need to be synced to the mask before the color options appear?
@@LumenCouture I bought the matrix on its own (supposed to arrive today) and I am going to hookup a cheap microphone for this feature. I plan to swap out the controller with an esp32 microcontroller so I can program it myself for mouth movement. I intend to make my own companion app but if there is currently an open API for the mask then it would be nice to be able to work off of what's available instead.
I made a mistake, i bought the large thin led, But all my attempts at making a decent mask end up looking like a small sock...haha Would you be able to help me out and let me buy just the mask part?
I've gotten the docs for it from the developer and will be trying to make my own app that works with it so feel free to respond with your ideas and maybe I can make some of it happen
I am thinking about this cool mask with speaker and amplifier on it that will be very useful for our mute and deaf community or people who wants to talk to people with different language.. they can just type whatever they want to say on the app, the app autocorrect the grammar or translate it (that would be the use of the speaker) and mix it with the emoji or mouth expression on led.
@@rufagindt6311 that's a fantastic idea! I was already adding a mic, and speakers were next. It was for the sake of amplifying the voice at checkout counters and stuff but I never thought about having an accessibility feature like text-to-speech. That makes a hell of a lot of sense
I just wish there was a better app for it. The current one is workable but seeing some of the other things that even the other LED panels you have can do make me see that its not living up to its full potential.
I hear you! It's an early product so the app has a lot of potential to have more functionality, I'm looking into timelines on some requested improvements and scoping what it would take to build a new, custom app for the product.
I'm working through all the documentation for the Bluetooth protocol to communicate with the LEDs and will hopefully get my own app out there for it soon enough. The biggest hurdle is translating the document from Chinese but once I get it all worked out I plan to put out videos so anyone can understand how to make their own apps for it

This new design actually looks pretty cool. I didn’t want it before because the previous videos had the old mask design which didn’t look so great.
Thanks for this update. I got the first version and am overall very happy with it.
glad to hear! thanks for your comment!

Yes, because the app supports both the single-olor and RGB versions, it may not display the colors until synced.
I hope you enjoy it!
@@LumenCouture Thank you so much. Mine arrived today and I’m already loving it, such a great buy 😁
is there any chance of adding in the upper part of the mask more leds to use all the space in the mask?
What's the name of the app.
This is amazing. You are amazing. Cant wait to order mine, and live my lady gaga fantasy!
This Mask is awesome, did you also send this also to German people? Because I live in Germany
Hi! Does this have a mic built in for the visualizers to work? Or it only plays music on the app? Ty
No built in mic on this version (through your phone) but working on other options for future!
