Nope, it doesn't blink in reality, at least your eyes won't see it blinking. It only looks like that on camera due to 30 frames per second video refresh rate and 60 hertz frequency in electrical input.

Thanks for details review. Washing machine Product ka packaging seal tampered nahi hai kaise pata chalega, store wale display piece bhi bhej sakte hai.
Seal toh hoti nahi large appliances ke boxes pe but packing dekhke pata chal jaata hai. Kahin bhi scratches ya fingerprints nahi hone chahiye aur plastics lagi hone chahiye shiny panels pe properly.

The 5in1 conversion works only partially. Don't expect to put the freezer OFF and expect it to go off completely. It continues to cool whatever is kept there, although a little less than before. So in essense the compressor is still cooling the entire fridge and hence the savings in energy are lesser that what you would expect.
Most people never try, or as seen here don't even demo it. If u already bought it, try it and see for yourself.
Well most of the times I use top freezer as fridge to store additional food stuff and to unsettle you even more, it does turn off completely and works exactly like a fridge. It does save a bit of power but since this fridge already consumes considerably less power, I haven't measured it.

SCIENCE - the cold air is coming from the cold fridge area hence it still cooling the freezer. To be absolute OFF no cold air should be go to the freezer.
@sanjaypatil2532 Cold air does circulate in the entire fridge when compressor is on. Measure its temperature, you'll see the difference.

The fact is that it isn't a pure OFF. The air circulated is from the cold Fridge area.

Is it true that using the fridge in converted mode for long time has negative effects on compressor?

I use fridge on converter mode most of the months during a year, except during peak summers when I need freezer to keep ice and frozen deserts, so till date I have not encountered a single issue with this fridge. I haven't heard about compressor getting such issues due to converter mode because this is a totally normal operational mode which has been given by the company itself.
In which display mode do I select to cool freeze and the freezer?

One question so is there any place in this fridge where I can put 2L cold drink bottle, even if I am not using it for re-use but for storing cold drink for few days atleast I need the space

Great review. I bought this from Flipkart which also gives an exchange offer. But since my fridge was 13+ years old and dented I got only 500 bucks against the promised 4K. Something is better than nothing I guess because I had tried buying this same product off Amazon and they rejected the exchange outright.
Amazon wouldn't take dented products in exchange! A dent reduces the value a lot so even on OLX you wouldn't get much better price.

Ek saal ki toh warranty thi, kuch months mein waise hi khatam ho jayegi, but fir bhi mujhe warranty mil jaati. Service guys ka kaam maine asaan kar diya and unhe kuch nahi karna pada, bas serial number register kar liya.

Is whirlpool convertible 265l 3star refrigerator better than this samsung refrigerator?
My past experience with whirlpool products has been pretty bad. Their servicing is not good because when they changed compressor under warranty in my older fridge, it was of different model and fridge never worked after that so I had to discard it. I even had whirlpool AC, which was good but its remote wasn't available with the company just after a few years! Whirlpool needs to improve their servicing and spare parts availability. Keep in mind this experience of mine is at least a decade old, so in the meantime things might have changed, but still Samsung offers best service experience and spare parts availability in appliances, that's the reason I bought it and will suggest the same.

Yep, but delivery agents may expect ike 50-100 rupees for extra effort, it is your wish if you want to give them or not, even if you don't they won't ask for it in most of the cases.

I don't hear any sound from my fridge but obviously I don't listen to it from a feet away. Compressor is a motor is will obviously make slight sound, I don't understand why viewers expect fridge to be pin drop silent.

@@anjang2434 Personally I don't hear any noise from 3 feet away, during nighttime without any fans, cooler or AC on and I have got good hearing BTW, unless fridge is running at maximum power at 90 watts.

@@anjang2434 Fan sound is slightly audible, but it is too faint to be heard, unless water has frozen near evaporator coils in a way that's causing increased sound levels. Fan is audible when you open the door obviously. You can get call up Samsung helpline for sound levels in case you are not satisfied with it, they may be able to provide a solution.
Can you please tell me if the both the front side (left and right) feet are height adjustable. I recently purchased a 336L curd maestro samsung fridge similar to yours but it's front right side feet are fixed (non-adjustable) while the front left side feet is adjustable. Please do tell. Thank you!
I haven't checked the front right side foot, but front left is definitely adjustable and adjusting it was enough to level the fridge. I'll check and tell later on though.

@@sushantkumar7379 Are you sure? Both the feet have slots for using screwdriver as a lever to loosen or tighten them, in case these slots are present in your fridge's front right feet, it should be adjustable too.
I have purchased this model. Company user manual suggests don't use the base stand for the refrigerator but the person came for installation was telling use stand other wise it will not give proper performance. So is stand recommended or is it ok to not to use base stand?
Installation personnel get small part from sales as commission, so they try to sell those stands to everyone and that's totally fine. But fridge manufacturers themselves tell NOT to use any stands as they may cause instability. I wouldn't recommend using any base stands for any fridge because fridges are meant to be kept as they are, but in case your specifically need one, only then use it.
Brother is there any option we can add extended warranty for this fridge buying from amazon??
Even if you get some extended warranty plan, they are useless anyway because insurance companies try every trick to deny warranty claims no matter what. Don't waste your money in getting any type of extended warranty or insurance plan and try to take proper care of the appliance itself, it will last long enough anyway.
I am confuse in this fridge & latest one of same samsung with no convertible option, pls tell me if convertible feature is really needed in today's life.
Most of the times I use convertible mode to keep extra stuff in freezer compartment, otherwise freezer is not always used unless you need to keep frozen food.

I also have noticed if I switched off then on compressor don't start immediately. Starts after 10-15 mnts.
During turn off panel lights stays a bit longer time. Are these normal !?
Compressor takes a while to start, it is a safety feature to prevent compressor wearing out due to excessive power cuts because it will unnecessarily start in a short of time in absence of this feature.
Regarding display panel lights, circuitry inside the fridge has huge capacitors which store electricity for quite a while, so LEDs stay lit even when you unplug the fridge from the power outlet for a while.
Humming sound is dependent on the speed of compressor, which in turn is dependent on the cooling performance required, so if you frequently open and close fridge door or keep a lot of stuff, you may get to hear slight humming. In my case there is NO humming sound most of the times, but occasionally you may hear it. Adjust floor stands properly so that fridge stays stable and weight lies on all 4 feet equally, this will reduce noise to a great extent.

Haven't opened both the doors at once, but it is normal because there are two fans inside the fridge which circulate air and keep it cool. They start and stop depending on the cooling levels.

Warranty card fridge ke user's manual ke saath aata hai. Mainly aapke invoice se hi warranty mil jayegi, aapke fridge ka serial number technician note karke le jaate hai aur aapke personal details ke saath attach kar dete hai taaki product register ho jaye aur warranty mil jaye. Aap khud se bhi Samsung ki website pe jaake warranty register kar sakte ho.

Nahi, in fact company mana karti hai kisi bhi tarhe ka stand use karne ko, usse fridge unstable hota hai, but technicians zabardasti sell karte hai logo ko.

Zyaada time power cut hoga toh samaan thanda nahi rahega, inverter use karna padega iske liye

While going through reviews on Flipkart and amazon people complaining, if they continuosly using it, compressor problem created and service engineer suggested them to use convertible mode for 2 to 3 days a week to save compressor from burning.

I don't think so because company has suggested not to use any stand or riser.
@@M-DIY basedrawer is very useful to keep onion and potatoes which we need daily and can't keep in refrigerator.
I use a separate tray for keeping potatoes and onions which is kept in kitchen while fridge is not mounted on any kind of stand or tray.

Haanji. Mere last do fridges mein yahi scratches the aur dono hi warranty mein repair karane pade the, because of some issues. Main toh ab fridges aur washing machine jaisi purchases online hi karta hoon.

@@M-DIY thanks. This is to test whether what your Meco measures matches what the bee label states. In your case 195 units annual works out to 0.53 units avg daily.
With my fridge with 4 stars, it should have been 0.65 units. But highest temp setting of -15 C and 6 C for fridge was 0.9 units and lowest setting of -23 C and 0 C for fridge was 1.3 units. No idea how BEE got such low figures unless door is never opened and fridge is in a cool area.
I just checked the power consumption using power meter. Fridge in my case is consuming only 0.14 units daily because of winter season, however in summers this will increase to at least a unit daily. Remind me to test this power consumption during summer season so that I can verify. Note that I kept power meter connected for a few days so that I can get a better average. Fridge is half full at the moment and converter mode is on because there is no need for freezer in winters, maybe that's what reduced the power consumption.
@@M-DIY very interesting. When I did my test it was in the middle of summer and I never thought to try in winter. So if one takes an average of both summer and winter we get the average. And this will approximate much closer to BEE's values.

Amazon ke invoice ki date se. Warranty card pehle relevant hota tha jab shop pe dealer stamp karke deta tha taaki fraudulent invoice na bann paye, ab computer generated invoice apne aap mein hi proper warranty ka proof hota hai.
i bought the same fridge....and i started hearing the sound from the start and it never stopped...is it expected? or you getting the same sound?
Nah, I don't hear any sound most of the times. Only during winters when fans are off and room is totally silent I hear slight humming sound of the compressor and/or fans, loudness of them varying with internal temperature of the fridge.

@@kundansharma1154 yes....We addressed the same issue to the person who came for demo....he said....that is because of compressor and that is way normal
And we went to the Samsung showroom again and asked them to plug in the fridge just to confirm and we didnt hear any sound there......
They said....they will send one person for checking...and if the issue still exists after that.....they said ....we can replace it with new one

Consider karo k inverter k saath sirf 2 refrigerators connected hay, iss k atirikt aur koi load connected nahi hay.
In short, may ye jaan na chahta hu ki compressor k starting k time pe convertible mode may (both compartments set on +3° C) refrigerator maximum Kitna Amp. currant khichta hay. Mera Zelio 1100 inverter safely 2.5 Amp. current deliver kar sakta hay, aur Agar is fridge ka starting currant 1.25 Amp. k andar hay to may aise 2 refrigerators ek saath chala sakta hu.

Jaisa maine video mein bataya ki digital inverter compressor waale fridge jhatke se start nahi hote aur current bhi jhatke se nahi lete jiske karan inverters ke saath compatible hote hai aur aapke case mein mujhe poori umeed hai ki 900VA ke inverter pe aap 2 fridges laga sakte ho. Waise bhi dono fridges ek time pa kabhi bhi start nahi honge to ek saath load daalke trip nahi karenge inverter ko. Aap chahe freezer use karo ya nahi, starting amperes mein koi difference nahi hoga, bas power consumption kam ho jayegi.

Mera bhi yahi maan na hay ki 900va inverter pe most probably ye wale 2 refrigerators easily chaljayege.
