When I was starting my career, I was not overly attached to the outcome. I didn’t necessarily see myself getting to an endpoint. I just knew the career I was interested in pursuing and because I was not attached, every opportunity I had flowed to me. I never once stressed about finding the perfect job, I just took small steps in the direction I wanted to go and it all flowed effortlessly. In other areas of my life however, that I have more of an attachment to the outcome, I am too much in my head and I find that it is more of a struggle.

Do u guys recommend any books on Taoism? I’ve never read any. The more David brings up lessons from his master the more I am fascinated and just shocked at how profound these kind of teachings are. Thank you for the video also.

Thanks David It’s so profound.I understand that the inner child gets stuck as you say because it has not achieved the emotional maturity. But if something very traumatic happened in our adulthood, at age of 45, and I we are unable to get over that, why does that happen?

Thank you so much again. I love listening to your wisdom. I have a question. I am on the train to Reading to where I work. The company that I work for will have its own Wu Wei, and it will want its employees to align with its own Wu Wei. I wonder, how does someone, who has his/her own Wu Wei, own flow and authenticity, 'marry up' with his/her company's Wu Wei? How can two Wu Weis work together in harmony, in one? Would one Wu Wei be compromised in favour of the other Wu Wei?
