I think you upload and film in whatever way keeps you from burn out! Stay motivated. If that means no videos at times, we will be fine! Just keep that end goal in mind and include us when possible 😊 Seeing the flashbacks are really nice to include but I know that takes extra work.
You should get one of those brick sorter boxes that stack together with different size holes each level. Might speed up your proccess. A lil pricey but with that much lego could be worth it for the time saved.
I like the idea of running the old footage to see where it came from and cost, then going through and seeing which sets may be in there. Determining sets and piecing together is a time eater but it’s a big benefit to bring up your set numbers, assemble, disassemble, and sell on to the next person.
Hi. I am new to your channel and you said something about maybe opening a Bricklink store. I think you should. It is also a great inside for other people how to open a Bricklink store and as a viewer we can see how you handle a store as a new store owner. It is also content for your channel and also it gives you other way of income to use for your Lego hobby. I also have a Bricklink store and i love it. Just the hunt for new/used nice parts and making other people happy over the whole world selling my parts gives me a good feeling and funds for more Lego haha. Have fun sorting.
The Little wheel is Lego that you put in non Lego, from Cars sets from memory Love watching all your videos and looking forward to your sorting journey this year. Made it is my goal to get as much sorted this year myself. Love from Australia
Last year I graduated high school and left my home state to live in an apartment for college, but since I had limited space in my u-haul I had to leave behind a vast majority of my bulk LEGO. I was able to bring my most of my sets and maybe 7% of the bulk but the rest stayed at home with my little brother and has since been mixed and matched with his bricks. This video kinda healed that LEGO sorting desire I had.
The key to a big sort is to only touch each part once. So have a bin/pile for plates, bricks, rounds, technic, slopes, fig parts, tiles, plants, etc. with as many different bins as you have room for. I also have a bin for any 1x1 or smaller parts. One for printed parts, etc.
I think that there is the Lego Creator 3in1 Modular Skate House judging by the large green wedge plate, yellow ladder, light grey helmet, large tan slope and a stack of dark red corner pieces 😊
Good Evening Greg!! WOW!! It is amazing how much lego fit into one gallon bag!! I think this year, once you get everything sorted, it will be easier to do this as you purchase them. Great first step in this EPIC NOVEL!! I hope your Monday was Great!! More Chili I hope!! 🍲 Have a great Evening!! 😀
Not saying my way is right, but I would dump all the little bins and bags into the large bins so all that left on the floor is like 6 to 8 large bins. Then I’d stack them up so theres only a small bit of floor space being used. Then, take a scoop out of a bin, and use the small bins at the table to sort into large, medium, small, and donate. The fine sorting I’d maybe do later? I’d do it this way so I’d feel like progress was being made and didn’t feel overwhelmed by it all.
I think the move is to treat it the same way you pay off debt. You work from small to large so you feel accomplishments along the way. An empty bag feels good. A tote that is still 90% full feels like a punch to the gut. I will figure it out as I go. The most important thing is I actually complete this if anything just to prove you wrong lol
I don’t normally watch other lego channels, but this one interested me. He posts on bricklink. His goal is to post $100 per day of legos. That’s 1,000+ legos PER DAY! That feels like a lot, but maybe it isn’t. You’ve mentioned some mini-figs sell for $5+. I know you don’t do that yet, but I believe if you actually sort 500 pounds of lego in the next year, you’ll have loads of extras of some types and putting them there would be a good experience for you (and make some good videos).
@@brickitect Z-nap was the attempt that Lego made to make a similar toy that was more successful but it wasn't a huge success. Some parts look pretty much identical to K-nex.
Lego sets in the video (i havent watched until the end)- The white front of the car piece is from the set 60239. Extreme Top piece is from the set 60222-1 Snow Groomer.
I have one of them at games arcade machines and I got atgames virtual 4k pinball machines. for money it pretty good comparing spending $$$$ thousands on one. especially pinball machine can cast over $10k
Hi Greg king time viewer of your videos I really enjoy them and The gray wheel your unsure about being Lego or non Lego is actually Lego it’s from a Disney cars set
@brickitect You can add parts to parts lists in your account and then have rebrickable calculate what sets/alt builds/mocs you can build. It helps me find sets in the Lego I buy from thriftstores and flea markets.
I made an introduction video, a video where I weighed everything to announce a contest winner, and this video which is me sorting my first 2lb bag. Each video has a purpose. If this isn’t for you, unsubscribe and find something you enjoy. RUclips is a big place and I’m sure you will find content that fits your attention span.
I think you shoulda kicked an extra $20. Bein that it was from a kid. $60 for all that is still a good deal in my eyes. But im not the bargain hunter that you are. Either way they went for it so cant really hold it against you.
I am still in awe of how much lego you still have to sort. I remember that video. I like the daily idea.
I think you upload and film in whatever way keeps you from burn out! Stay motivated. If that means no videos at times, we will be fine! Just keep that end goal in mind and include us when possible 😊 Seeing the flashbacks are really nice to include but I know that takes extra work.
Look on the white truck piece, the licence plate numbers may be the set number, then you can look up the set and build it!
You should get one of those brick sorter boxes that stack together with different size holes each level. Might speed up your proccess. A lil pricey but with that much lego could be worth it for the time saved.
I love this journey for you Greg. It’s crazy how long even 2 pounds can take to process. You got this!

10:05 The large section with the string is from the 2014 towtruck i think
Absolutely live the way you have all your lego sorted I wish I had the room and space to do this fantastic
I want daily time lapses. This is fun to watch.
9:37 two orange lever type pieces are brick separators.
I love your videos greg. This styke was great. I like seeing the lil cool stuff.
lol never ever stop making sets. that funny
The wheel is a lego piece I think. I love the sorting videos and see what is inside. Keep up the sorting Greg.!
Thanks! Got it!
I found the reference of the piece on bricklink its 93593.
I think Google lens might be able to help identify some of that. Grey hose with bar connections is Lego
I am enjoying the sorting. Its relaxing
Great progress Greg! Keep it going!! Love the daily grind and results over just a before and after per week.
The Little wheel is Lego that you put in non Lego, from Cars sets from memory Love watching all your videos and looking forward to your sorting journey this year. Made it is my goal to get as much sorted this year myself. Love from Australia
Thank you for the info! It’s an honor to have you along with me on this journey. Good luck to you on your sorting!

That’s a good tip. My current system narrows it down to element but some of my stuff is also sorted by color so that takes two touches.
Can't wait to see more videos like this Greg. Absolutely love them.❤
10:06 - that’s a red hood from set 60222 snow groomer to my knowledge
I'm interested in your discoveries of what disassembled sets are in all the raw LEGO.
I think that there is the Lego Creator 3in1 Modular Skate House judging by the large green wedge plate, yellow ladder, light grey helmet, large tan slope and a stack of dark red corner pieces 😊

I like that mini BatWing in the non lego pile tbh.
Love ya Greg! Been a long time sub, and love haul sorting vids. My kinda series
I’m enjoying this series. Good luck on the daily goal. I just bought a 40 gal bin of LEGO to sort but I have no daily goal! lol. Have fun!
When you get parts with license plates, they are almost always the set number. Good way to figure out sets in bulk.
Good call. Done this many times myself.
Thanks!

@@brickitect Wow that's some confidence. You really cooked him there💀
That feeling of overwhelmed is real!
It doesn’t matter to me how he sorts it, i just want to give him potential ideas to help him succeed. I like to see other people’s success.

Oohh there was a couple of rare retired orange brick separators there
I like the daily volgs of this sires
The gray hose might be Lego part 14301. 13:30
I was wondering but I couldn’t find any markings. I will pull it. Thanks!
Awesome job on getting some sorting done buddy. Keep up the hard work. 😊
I have half those halph of those parts(at least slightly builted)
Set 60023, City Starter Set is in there , at least partly.
With the K-nex I would suggest making sure it isn't Z-nap
What is Z-Nap?
@@brickitect Z-nap was the attempt that Lego made to make a similar toy that was more successful but it wasn't a huge success. Some parts look pretty much identical to K-nex.
It's a lot easier if you have a row of working trays that you get to know and can throw pieces into
That’s a good tip. I will figure this out along the way!
I wish I can find Bluck of Legos at a yard sale. I never see Legos at any yard sales by me.
Lego sets in the video (i havent watched until the end)- The white front of the car piece is from the set 60239. Extreme Top piece is from the set 60222-1 Snow Groomer.
Super Secret Police has to be from the lego movie, i dont know which set.
The tiny tire is lego
Thanks man! I will pull it out of the non-LEGO pile
Clarke’s Fortnite mech is so good. You should look up mecha team leader if you want to see what it looks like in-game :)
He showed me. I think he did a nice job. Now he has more parts for the next one 😀
Often, the license plates of LEGO vehicles will have the set number on it. Could help identify some of the sets.
I have one of them at games arcade machines and I got atgames virtual 4k pinball machines. for money it pretty good comparing spending $$$$ thousands on one. especially pinball machine can cast over $10k
Looks like you have Bricklink part 14301 (Ribbed hose) in your non Lego pile. 😊
The sticker on the bumper piece should tell you what set it came from
60239 is the Lego city police car
I saw it on a bumper piece
Eating an entire elephant starts with taking one bite.
License plate numbers are the set number.
$100 down to $40😮 I'm taking u next time I need a car or house 😂
Hi Greg king time viewer of your videos I really enjoy them and The gray wheel your unsure about being Lego or non Lego is actually Lego it’s from a Disney cars set
Greg why don’t you do a live stream of sorting lego.
what are those white little cabinets called? Please tell me
Sterilite is the brand. They make all kinds of sizes of drawers.
are you never tempted to organize everything into rebrickable and see what you can build?
Can you add your inventory to the site? I've only used it to build alternate models of sets.
@brickitect You can add parts to parts lists in your account and then have rebrickable calculate what sets/alt builds/mocs you can build.
It helps me find sets in the Lego I buy from thriftstores and flea markets.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, isn't that ribbed hose piece Lego?
Clark was so young in that clip not the 10 yr old we know now
It was crazy to see how young he was. Time flies!
-i think the glass door is lego
I will set it aside. I appreciate the help
You've made three videos talking about sorting lego. Just do it. Sheesh

Lol, you might wanna buckle your child up next time
if it not Lego I throw it away. I don't like non-Lego. DIY bricks. not fan of them.
