I can confirm that Sands is spitting facts. Fun to Build is a Sega Pico game. The Sega Pico, also known as Kids Computer Pico, is an educational video game console whose focus was educational video games for children between 3 and 7 years old. The Pico was released in June 1993 in Japan and November 1994 in North America and Europe. The Lego game was released only in Japan as Sands stated in December 1995. Why English? Because quite simply, the Japanese are obsessed with the English language thanks to so much exposure to Western culture (especially American after WWII). English is considered the lingua franca of the business and academic world. Japan lives and dies by its success as a business partner. The modern Japanese language uses a lot of English loanwords. American football is アメリカンフットボール for example which is pronounced just "Amerikanfuttobōru". Computer is コンピューター and is pronounced "Konpyūtā".
@@CharredPancakes 6 at retail is real nice. I got 5 from the Lego online store but never once saw them at my local Lego store. $15 retail price was just too good of a deal and of course I prefer that over the $25 yard sale price
Wow! Wish I could have went to the yard sale! I was there though. Didn’t see you on the public day but I’m glad you had fun and got a ton of deals man!
Man, that Lego Wii remote is sick! Whenever Ryan sees a Lego Star Wars display, a light bulb pops up above his head! Ryan is such a responsible father taking care of Sands. But jokes aside, Sands saying "Oh choo-choo train!" is so wholesome. I loved going to Barnes & Noble as a kid just to play with the Thomas trains. It also reminds me of the Lionel display Hoboken Terminal has in their waiting room! Except theirs is in a glass case. And while I do like the Cobi sets, I agree that the figures ruin it. The Concorde is my personal favorite jet. I've been inside the British Airways Concorde at the Intrepid Museum in NYC back in 2016. The Intrepid's Concorde, G-BOAD, is THE fastest Concorde as it arrived in London from NY just 2 hours, 52 minutes, and 59 seconds later in 1996! It also spent the most time in the air than any Concorde at 23,397 hours. The Intrepid lets you go inside their Concorde as part of a booked Concorde tour and we were in the only ones in our tour group, so I got the huge opportunity to sit in the cockpit and it was MAGICAL! It was such a cool experience.
Had the absolute worst time at Tampa Brick fair. Only 3-4 booths. They were impossible to get to with how many people were there. All good when I could see the prices, prices were marked up over 200% and most of it was stuff in stores. Big L event and would not recommend to anyone. Worst part about it was it was $25 a ticket
Love the hard pass on overpriced items. Been running into a lot of young sellers on WN lying about values of figs on their stream. Like double BL averages. Def some good deals there tho.
i need to get rid of some rare mini figs and sets can anyone recommend a upcoming event/store in new england area ? and no one say bricks and minifigs🤣
Got some great deals. I seriously need to go to some conventions, but there’s rarely any in Canada. Also, why does Sands look like Alex Browning from Final Destination?
2:00 I did not realize that goes for that much. I got it 100% complete with box, instructions and great condition minifigs for $175 on ebay. all stickers were good condition as well
"This is gonna be a no purchase store" Literally me at Brick Fan Fest. I did however find some sick deals at local people selling in Tampa. I also did go to Bricks n minifigs in Tampa, and bought a 75060 Slave I for $400, complete in perfect condition with figs. I think I did well. I traded my 75060 in 2021 for the UCS Imperial Star Destroyer mint because it was too big and the guy wanted something smaller.

Yeah it’s weird when people say “this is like $100” and it’s clearly not.
“This scratched and markered up p1 clone is worth $60 bucks at least”
