As the father of three..... this video made me ask myself the question of "what would you do" and my answer wasn't much different than Brother Joes. What a song.....
Glad I’m not alone. As a husband and dad this song gives me chills every single time ‘cause it feels so real. Amazing story telling from the lyrics to the music!
@@ItsJeff_ Actually now that I've thought about it..... either this cocksucker would've died or I would have. Sometimes "turn the other cheek" takes on a whole new meaning. I just don't know, and honestly can't reconcile this situation. Great song though. It certainly made me think.
As a Christian this song hits so hard hearing the last verse. When he said “Jesus wept.” That is one of the most powerful and important verses in the Bible. This song is a masterpiece
Just proves to me that there isn't a God or if there is he lets evil people live to old age and does nothing to protect the innocent. Just watches as it happens.

Oh my God I noticed that. Pure emotion. And fisch is right. It's setting you up to think the preacher is taking revenge but it's so much sadder than that.
This song is sooooo fucking good. So good. Great story telling. This band is awesome. They only have like 5 or 6 songs released on apple music and they're all good
I am super excited to watch where this band goes. You get full credit for turning me onto them. I hope to see you enter the world of The Warning one day and see what you think of them.
One of my favorite tricks in music is when the groove cuts out for a beat. Then comes back with a hit. Like a singe beat rest. Makes it hit so hard when it comes back.
been waiting on this one since the song came out fischtank! phenomenal story tellers creating art and great reactions by yourself. favorite reaction channel by far
This is the narrative Why do bad things happen to good people? Outstanding reaction and it’s a good day to become a believer! Love when you reach over and grab that old Yamaha!
This is one of those songs that i can listen to back to back 100 times and i will get the chills every time. Didnt find ole 60 until a few days ago and i know he will be huge very soon
To me this song isn't about religion. It's just about the man, and his life happened to be centered around religion and it affected how he reacted to the news.
@jenniferwheet147 I never said religion wasn't present in the song; I said its not ABOUT religion. The song is about the story of Brother Joe changing his life and losing his family. Religion is just a background detail that offers background stories and foreshadows his reaction. Silly comparison, but its like how Snickers is a chocolate bar WITH peanuts, not a peanut bar with chocolate. It's a song about Brother Joe, with religion in it
I found them about two weeks before you posted your first reaction to “Smoke and a light “ and I’ve been heading face first down a rabbit hole ever since!!! These guys are so good and deserve all the recognition and more that they are getting! I can’t wait for the chance to see them perform live!!!
Scrolling through some songs, saw this one, and came to see if you reacted to it. First time listening all the way through and I about cried. Ugh, anyway. Love when you bring out the guitar and break it down. Think I watched one of the livestreams where you did it and I was hooked.
I’m a grown azz woman with teen girls. When I heard this I cried exactly like a teen/baby. I don’t cry and i definitely don’t cry over songs. This one though brought me to weeping tears. Tell me you all didn’t drop a tear or at least have to hold back? This song is absolutely amazing and for the record I have cried at least 3 times now hearing it out of 5. I couldn’t wait to get this review on this song! Man do I love his reactions. I believe whole heartedly his reaction did have him teary-eyed. When you can do that to a woman or a man that talent is off is just off the charts. NOW I NEED TO HEAR YOU DO INSANE BY THIS SAME BADASS GROUP. Ty Ty Ty for all you do. Your reactions to all this music videos are amazing. You have such a great sole.🔥❤️
Awesome work as always. Flatland Cavalry has some great songs. “A life where we work out” and “pretty women” are two of my favorites, I’d love to see you react to one of them.
I like that fact that your playing on a Yamaha. I feel that Yamaha guitars don't receive the credit that they should. I myself play a Yamaha. It is a fantastic guitar with super low action, maintains tune better than most, and sounds like a dream. So Kudos. You playing a yamaha got a Like and a subscribe.
Really good stuff. Hoping you could visit some Amos Lee. Johnson Blvd or anything off of his Mission Bell album. Thanks for listening and reacting and teaching about great music. Peace.
You need to hear The Wilder Blue: Janie Lynn if you like harmonies and murder ballads, although idk if this is technically a murder ballad. These guys are great!!

This single should be a movie.
I don’t care what you believe in. These lyrics are powerful. Sheeeeeesh! 🤯
you dont have to believe in God to understand the message
@@TheMastaPlan Agreed. 💯

Just discovered Ole 60 this morning running down these two lane West Texas backroads. Made that early morning sunrise something to look forward to.
To watch your demeanor change when the second half of the song starts goes to show just how powerful this song is
Oh my God I noticed that. Pure emotion. And fisch is right. It's setting you up to think the preacher is taking revenge but it's so much sadder than that.

His story telling is so beautifully written every time.

Insane-ole 60 another great one !
My daughter sent me a TikTok a few weeks ago, that was all I needed to jump to iTunes and buy every song and I’ve had them on repeat since then!
I am super excited to watch where this band goes. You get full credit for turning me onto them. I hope to see you enter the world of The Warning one day and see what you think of them.
Same here, all of their songs are great so far. They have such a good naturally raw sound that we don’t hear much
This group don't miss. EVER

Chills ran down my spine this whole song!
He is an incredible singer! They will go far. Love it
Not a Christian but this song bangs!!! It does tackle a situation of loss and suicide because sometimes we just don’t care even if Jesus does.
