For some reason, I find this channel really good to watch before bed, or when I'm trying to relax. Its so nice not having so much auditory commentary to have to focus on :)
Same. I'm drying my hair and sleeping soon. First day of school today
It's asmr but not grossly so lol
@@just_a_sad_song517 good luck on your first day!
Omg same!
Same I’m always watching their videos while eating 😋
Seeing Fancy Gems brought back so much childhood nostalgia.
sinterklaas!
Iced gems I know them as 🙂
Never had em.
I remember back then just eating the icing
ikr- also my mom calls it mouse poop
I was not expecting the prawn snack rolls to have actual prawn in them. Very nice!
Now I’m craving for one
@@pricklyplant0333 i can buy one
It makes me happy to see when DB buys anything with Salted Egg flavor because I know DB likes that flavor on things alot!😁☺️

it’s very nice to see dancingbacons eat singaporean snacks and drinks, food of their culture : ) i’m chinese and i love to learn about new snacks from different cultures
We have fancy gems too but they're called iced gems. As a child I remember eating the icing and throwing away the biscuit quite often. As an adult the whole thing is just too sweet for me.
I'm from Indonesia and it's a BIG YESS for Irvins snack (despite the price). It's soo delicious and super addictive!! Totally a fancy souvenirs to bring back home.
Yea, fried lizards are good
You must be quite rich then to be able to bought one without having guilty conscience 😆

@@poor_youtuber1390 the price can be a bit expensive but the taste is delicious enough for it to be a once in awhile thing 😂
I just had those Hainanese chips the other day! Found them in a Chinese market. They also have a beef rendang flavored chip that's also very good.
that's right, Beef Rendang Is My Favorite Food.
Got Laksa flavors too. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Curry fish too
I see hamber's got some international fans😂
@@sophrenia Our gorl is global. Lidurraly!🤣
A friend brought me the Singapore Breakfast Tea some years ago and I've loved it ever since! Whenever I need a small gift for someone I always buy it and everyone has loved it so far as well.
I love seeing all the goodies they come up with.

**Doom music hits**
OK finally! Always wanted to see Singaporean stuff specifically! I mean, I suppose you live there so it's perhaps less special for yourself compared to neighbouring country's snacks, but I've been super curious with Singapore's specifically!
they weren't featured in this video, but I grew up here and some more singaporean snacks i'd recommend are stuff like haw flakes, murukku, lemon puff biscuits, custard buns (gardenia brand), bandung, also those rabbit milk candies!
@V M rabbit milk?!
@@anikamiah1876 because the brand has a rabbit picture :) the specific name is white rabbit candy 😄
Love your wonderful experiences.
Especially like when you compare the finished product to the pictures on the packaging. Love the many varieties of Ramen noodles!
Very interesting and enjoyable. Thanks so much from Charlotte NC USA.

Watching travel videos to know what a country is like: "Nah that stuff wack"
Watching dancing bacons so I know what all the tasty stuff is: "Oh yeah, this is the life"
Exactly!
Exactly.
As usual, the food looks really good! Can’t wait to see what’s next.
I was growing up on the poorer side, so when I was little my mom introduced me to sugar and butter spread on a piece of bread. Mild saltiness of the bread, creamy butter and white sugar all together tasted really nice, and were a nice sweet snack for when we didn't have any candies around!
Hey I used to eat the same. It was heavenly!!!
*Have to try this!!*
@@lumiinousity yes you must! You'll love it
In Australia we call it fairy bread. We use sprinkles, which is basically coloured sugar. Your birthday party isn't complete without this staple!
@@nicolevidgen1356 I love how cute of a name you have for it! It surely must look super nice with the sprinkles on top in comparison to plain white sugar, will give it a try next time there's guests :)
Would love to see more of the room/suite so I know if the Marina Bay Sands is worth it. Love the videos, thank you!

I will never get tired of these videos. I've had those little biscuits with the hard icing on top before. They are my favorite!
I love how wholesome this channel and its audience are
Yay! An early evening post (for me). My day is always better after watching Dancing Bacons.😍
@@owaaaaaaaaau796 why would they be lying? Why would you assume that?
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups.
@@owaaaaaaaaau796 You must be so fun at parties.
@@owaaaaaaaaau796 o_o what an odd thing to assume. I think you need to go watch at least 10 more dancing bacon videos so you learn how to relax and stop being so negative mr. Edgelord McEdgy.
0:52 = Fancy Gems is the most popular biscuit in Indonesia especially when Ied Fitr. I like this biscuit, but I just ate the icing sugar witout the biscuit.
7:00 = Many people know a green ball with grated coconut is ondeh ondeh. But, in Javanese a green ball with grated coconut called klepon. Green ball made from glutinous rice flour and palm sugar liquid inside.
Remember everyone, even if the chip bag looks large, only half of the bag gets filled up. Looks can be deceiving.
They still have more chips in them though, look at the gross weight on the bag it will be higher on bigger bags. They also fill the bags with gas this acts as a barrier so the chips don't get broken and damaged in transit, also stops them from going soggy.
They aren't out to defraud you as you may think.
@@rundattmedia2106 THANK YOU! I get so sick of people whining about how “There’s so much air in the bag”. If there was little to no air in the bag, you’d end up with a bag of nothing but crumbs.

Fancy Gems! We have them here in the Philippines. Super nostalgic childhood treat, that. They're called Iced Gems here though.
Damn I miss the fancy gems and the fish skin, I’m stuck all the way in Europe because of university and still have not come back to Singapore because of the pandemic ;-;
we have the same thing in the UK, but we call them Iced Gems :)

I so wish I could visit Singapore! It seems like you get so much variety and so many fun items there!
Those looked really yummy, and if and when I ever get to go to your lovely country, I'll have to make a list of all the snacks and drinks I need to try. Tiger is good summer drinking, too--we can get it here in Texas and with Texas summer heat, it's perfect summer drinking, right up there with Stella Artois, IMO.
Are you at the Marina Bay Sands? Now that's how you do a snack review!
We have fancy gems in the UK too, albeit we call them ice gems. I love them but my sensitive teeth react badly if I crunch on them 😭😅
You're an iced gem 😊
*Maybe just let them dissolve in your mouth? I feel bad, even though I’ve never tasted it.*
love ur mista picture 😆😆😆
Those Fancy Gem cookies are exactly like ones from Puerto Rico, except the ones I had were called Florecitas. When I was much younger, my grandfather would feed them to me. Even though we had a language barrier, our way of connecting were through those sweet little cookies. Those cookies mean a lot to me. May his soul Rest In Peace
I’ve been waiting for this!! This is all I watch on youtube anymore
Seems like good snacks. I haven’t watched it yet! But oh well lol.
Yeah my friends are back what we eating much love to you guys from USA
I love dancing bacons! It makes me feel relaxed. I also learn a lot from Asian culture and foods from all the countries you show. I have never been there, but watching you eating all the Asian food makes me want to be there and try everything. I will not fit in the airplane sit at the end, hahaah
That view of the skyline is stunning. xD
Hello dancing bacons ☺☺i like it the snacks, TASTY y DELISOUS😋😋😋
In the uk, we have something called Iced gems! they look very similar, the singaporean version do seem to be nicer in colour :)
Flower gems are the best, I love those, everything else is also nice, thumbs up.
Wow! Those products look's great! A lot of amazing things and foods in your country!
Epic just got back from school. My day just improved with this video. Thanks mate!

The white fish snack was always something that my family and i brought with us whenever we went to Genting! Many fond memories eating it hahaha
Right now, I really need to do this.. I’ve been struggling really hard this week and been trying to get away from falling back into the dark place I don’t want to return to.. doing a glow-up is good however I really like that you called this glow-up a mental glow-up which I never really considered or thought about 🧐😌☺️
Mahalo again for your inspirational, fun, & informative vlogs ❤ 🥰🌺🤙🏾
What a lovely little tea cup and plate.
this has become one of my favorite channels. i love it. thank you!
Yeeees, I was hoping to see Singapore Snacks. And you are in the Marina Bay Sands 💜💜 I know and miss this view so much. Can't wait to come back once this is all over 💜 thank you!!
17 min we are honored. Wooo whooo
Irvin's Salted Egg was started by Indonesian brothers, though :)
i could watch you forever picking things out of the shelf and listening to the sound it makes
could you do a video only of you picking up things? that would be so satisfying
who else finds this satisfying?

It's nice when you already found a quiet place to try those snacks and drinks
Why do I think I must watch DB when eating my lunch or dinner? Love this channel.
Finally, there is a video of almost all the foods I've tried.

我好喜欢这个频道的节目哦💖🌷💖🌷💖
I didn't know Fancy Gems are Singaporean snacks. They're called Iced Gem Biscuits here and it's my favorite childhood snack, I would eat all the biscuits first and save the mini icings for later. We even have a chocolate version of it.
They aren't. They were invented in Reading in 1850
Awesome Video !! Dancing Bacon, Never disappoints and here to stay ! Looking forward to some more Great Content 💗🥓🌟👍
Rise and shine, it's a new dancingbacons video :)
The tapioca chips look sooooooo good.
Really like this so much! This trip is awesome, as usual! Thanks!!!
I would really like to try the fried fish skin!! The chili tuna looked really good too but I would probably die lol

Second, and seems like some good snacks. Haven't watched yet though.
Those fancy gems also favorite and love in the philippines.

Everytime i open youtube for some relaxation... Believe me, I ended up here...🙂
IRVIN'S salted egg is basically my snack drug its just so good that you want to go back for more. Once the hand goes in it will be hard to get it to stop
Ahhhh! The Iced Gems are called Fancy Gems there!!! I think they're the same brand here in the PH. My mom won't let me forget the fact that i slept with the meringue stuck in my nose on they way home from visiting the Iced Gems factory. I loooove the Juzz Mee noodles so much.
Finally a video of snacks and drinks which I know !
lloooooovvveeee all things Singaporean!!! wonderfulness!! cheers xoxo!!!
I liked how you suddenly transitioned to actual merlion to compare.... ✌️ Simple genius Madam 💐 ✌️🌹✌️
In the Philippines we call the first snack 'Iced gem'
I remember having something like fancy gems as a lunchbox snack in primary school, it was polarbear themed.
I’ve had the Irvin’s salted egg salmon skins. Those babies are dangerous. They’re so good
I found this channel accidetally but really I like this channel because it is introducing all kinds of cuisines
