I should say that peak came one year after with Another day in Paradise and Jesus He Knows Me with Genesis 1990 and going down 2003 after Disney’s Bearbrothers!

Sir Michael Parkinson CBE (born 28 March 1935) is an English broadcaster, journalist and author. He presented his television talk show Parkinson from 1971 to 1982 and from 1998 to 2007, as well as other talk shows and programmes both in the UK and internationally. He has also worked in radio. He has been described by The Guardian as "the great British talkshow host".[1]
I can see both sides. It's probably a bit overwhelming to have people come up to you for autographs everywhere you go, constantly. I guess at least he was willing to say hello and have a few words with people tho
@@l0ngwaayt0happy it’s the least he can do. It’s because of the fans that he has fame and fortune. In the time taken to say no and his reasons why, he could have given a picture and autograph. I don’t think it’s a constant thing for most celebs, most people won’t bother them.
You have to realise these people have private lives, and aren’t under any obligation to sign anything. I met Phil when he was dating Jill, they were in a pub I went over told him I was a fan and asked them if they would like a drink. Phil said yes but Jill declined, I asked the guy behind the bar if he would take his drink over and he did. I have met numerous “stars” but they have a private life too and you have to respect that. I met John McGuinness at a motorbike fair in Llangollen and chatted and had a couple of photos with him, he was staying in the same hotel and having dinner on a table across from us, he put his hand up in acknowledgment as did I and that was it. I’m sure if the boot was on the other foot you would probably get brasses off with it.
@@l0ngwaayt0happy Agree. I saw Adrian dunbar in a cafe before in Dublin and I was in awe but I didn't pester him and want to get his autograph , I just smiled at him and he obviously knew I knew who he was but I acknowledged he was enjoying a day off filming with his wife and daughter.
Phil is such a humble guy
God Bless MR Collins. The price we pay for what we put our body through when we are younger!!

Michael was only 52 here! And Phil, who was 37, looked 19...

Phil is better in "Frauds".
I've always had a crush on him maybe it's his eyes and smile that's so hot
I love older men
Talented guy and sad to see how he is now. But is it that hard to sign a few autographs and accept it as a price of fame? So arrogant.
