My friend sued me so we could get on court TV

- My friends and I used to sue each other on court TV. The court show pays whoever wins and it doesn't go on anybody's record. So we'd make up cases and they fly you out to LA to film it. This is the full episode of Judge Alex 'Albanese vs. Palmer.'

Not a strange enough case to raise too much suspicion but just strange enough that they'll want to show it on TV. Nicely done. Knowing it's fake you can definitely see the two guys (especially the "promoter") smiling more than they should be. Specially when judge asks "anything else?"

It struck me that the left dude playing such a good straight-arrow supporting character was important in making this come off as entertaining as it did. I think this bit is funnier than another court bit of theirs where both the plaintiff and defendant are comedians in fair part because of him.
I knew these court room shows were a hoax. This was gold!

I would have gone with an increase ticket sales of 5000 for the event. Thus making it appear that Ben's PR campaign was a success. Then see the reaction of the Judge & audience.

Always got to add a twist to the story.
For real lmfaoooo
That "twist" wouldn't make much sense because there would be no reason to sue and the judge knows the case details beforehand. Not only it wouldn't have passed screening but I believe the leadup would've been very different and focused more on the other guy.
