I know this is an old episode, but it's still a pretty bad idea to show the knockout within the first 20 seconds of the video. I hope that someone in the battlebots team sees this and will attempt to change this editing, because this is NOT how to create anticipation for a bot match.
It's a battlebot video. No one needs to put any anticipation or spoiler. People who like it will love to watch or rewatch it anytime. The one editing feels like a beginner smh
They listened. The last couple fights have been spoiler free
@@Zack_Taylor While I hope that they read my comment, I wasn't the only one complaining (although most were complaining on reddit). I mainly posted this to add to the bulk, and try to keep it non offensive so they'd be more likely to remember the message. So even though I don't think this is the single comment that did it, us as a community religiously bringing it up until it got changed did definitely help.
So a thanks to battlebots for listening to the fans, and a thanks to the fans for trying to get battlebots to be their best self.

2:40 that was the most epic chase of "that wasn’t what I meant to do, but it worked perfectly" i've ever seen
the razer team knew it could do it from when it nearly done it against stinger.they uped the motor power when they relized it could do it.
This was, by far, the most remarkable win of Warhead. And the way he travelled on his weapon was astounding.
As for Complete Control... After that first hit, his left motor was dead, transforming him into a sitting duck.

Oh wow, the spinner was so powerful and the body was so weak that a few hits made it look like a machete was sliced through it.
I think the fire was started coz that hit may have reached the bots fuel tank and the flamethrower made it ignite and burst into flames.

When I found out the reboot existed and saw this fight, it blew my mind
at the time every one that knew posted as a fight not to be missed.

Warhead damages itself more than its opponents with that spinner.

But Warhead did severely damage Complete Control with that spinner weapon this time around.
warhead dos not damage itself the knetics just make it unstable.
Warhead was never damaged by it's weapon but it was mostly of the time redirectioned to random parts of the arena making it uncontrollable, that was how Stinger managed to own Warhead by making it lose control all the time.
SOW and Tombstone are better examples of robots with weapons that can damage both the rival and the robot itself.

I never liked Warhead because he flips very easily and his weapons don't seem to be effective, but he managed to use one of the worst weapons (fire) setting it on fire in a second when no one can do it even with a minute of continuous fire, and being flipped manages to hit him "dancing", the best fight ever
Yeah, that was because warhead was not designed to have too much power, is a frame from the beginning of the 2000's with a newer brushless motor to replace an old petrol motor for tje main weapon.
For the same reason Warhead became so uncontrollable.

"Get it back over, Si! Get it back over man!" I can imagine Ian Lewis saying this a lot during some of the old Robot Wars fights when Razer got flipped on its side. Its self-righting mechanism was verrrrrrry slow.
What a beautiful and terrifying bot Razer was though.
@@RoxyGotMoxy.Agreed, and Warhead almost looks like Razer had a baby with Hypno-Disc Kinda wish they stick with this rather than the huge dino head they put on it later. It's not a crusher like Razer was, just a grabber with fire, much like Complete Control
Warhead is my favourite. A complicated bot with major control problems but it can’t fight a dull fight if that weapon is working. The weapon protrudes forward so can’t be easily countered or kept at distances. It’s sideways rotation results in warhead and the opponent both rotating, which changes the angle of attack and exposes some weaker areas. Plus, it’s just friggin cool looking!
Bit worrying that these designers seem to lack any knowledge of centrifugal force and the effect on their own control of having a massive heavy spinning disc. They destroy themselves as often as the opponents.

They did and it lost in the first round. It's way to out of date to be competitive today. Quantum and Kraken are right there filling in the spot for cool crushers these days.

I watched this battle between warhead and that other bot for the first time a long time ago. I was very impressed how warhead lit that other bot on fire, probably fire plus friction makes something ignites in flames.
I think they ruptured complete control's fuel tank, and set the leaked fuel on fire
Complete Control also uses a flame thrower, Warhead ignited it's tank
Warhead has the most unique design and also the most useless design in battle bots
