The Best Of Warhead - Battlebots Season 6-8 - 2015-2018 - A Tail Of Two Bots - [029]

- This is a small "Best Of" compilation I've put together for Battlebots competitor Warhead, during their run in the rebooted seasons of Battlebots. They first competed in the fifth season of the original Battlebots run, for all their Season 5 fights follow this link - • Video
The songs used in this compilation are Backwoods BBQ by Chris Haugen (from 0:00), and Hero Theme by MK2 (from 1:29).
Over the course of these seasons, Warhead faced off against Bite Force, Blacksmith, Chomp, Complete Control, Minotaur, Sharkoprion, Stinger, The Obwalden Overlord, Warrior Dragon, and Whiplash.

One of my favorite robots ever. I just remember watching CC season 5 when it showed up and obliterated basically everything. It was such a cool robot and the rare combination of lethal destructive ability and style.
I got a bit choked up when I saw the shattered spinner head.
Warhead is honestly one of the coolest battlebots

Warhead is absolutely legendary. Such a well designed robot that expertly combines practical features with stylish looks. I never saw him with a dinosaur head before, but it was probably better that they switched it out for the spinner. The part where he balances on it and just beyblade's into complete control was the most epic thing I ever saw as a kid. Truly a hero of his time.
Warhead is a beautiful bot with a deadly spinner. I mean it's performance from 2015 is totally different from 2018.
I really did thought warhead could beat biteforce and stinger because of the spinner, but the 2 wedges/plows were no match for him, so that wasn't a good impression.
The dino head looked weird at first because you expect a spinner, but it was fine. The fire just put on a show and melted obwalden overload (btw who remembers him? We need more interesting and future innovative bots like him). Then break dance in complete control, doing serious damage, so I guess that spinner had some power after all. They actually almost break dance in the stinger fight but stinger just hit them to stop them. And then minotaur ripped his head off, which I didn't expect at all.
A 4-1 record is pretty good for the fight card, including his win from blacksmith. Pretty much the dino head allowed it to control bots, the spinner broke which sucks because warhead is no more 😔, and whiplash absolutely controlled it, and such a big bot to flip too.
It does suck that warhead can't return, I want to see if they can actually make the brackets

@ same reason why it didn't return in s4, the spinner head broke. And apparently they can't make another one of those spinner for some reason, so the team officially retired warhead. I don't have the source but just take my word, unless a miracle happens.

@@jonathanf2392 hard to believe that. Imagine saying "tombstone broke its blade, so he will be out for two seasons or more."
@@loriumartinez the t rex head is kinda good. I mean it's big and can grab on to bots to burn or control them. Obviously the spinner is more destructive but it's not as stable. Now tell me, if warhead used their spinner head against chomp, would it struggle?
Even the team themselves thought the dino head sucked because if I remember correctly, they were officially supposed to be in the top 16 of s3 but because they only had the dino head and not the spinner, they didn't take the offer. Same for skorpios, no saw so they declined too, so that's how rotator got in.
Thank you for making this! Warhead is my favorite bot! As soon as I saw Warhead in the first season of the Battlebots reboot on ABC, I was amazed, despite the fact it didn't do well. It had a lot of memorable moments in Battlebots and I hope one day it comes back.

Most good robots are just beautiful works of engineering. Warhead is a beatiful work of ART.
the thing that really amazes me is that they fought with two bots in two different leagues simultaniously and both of them where really strong bots and both of them won the best design award.
Razer was so far ahead of it's time, it's still one of the best looking bots to this day, even after 25 years and holds the record for most wins in robot wars history.
Yep. There was never a dull moment with one of the greatest ever clever glamour-bots. Like watching slo-mo video of me on a trampoline, you just couldn't look away whenever Warhead was in motion.
[I'm kidding about the trampoline. Nobody needs to see that. Really.]
Sow is offically coming back to battlebots as an actual competetor! Maybe make a compilation? ;)
sadly for u. SOW isn't a competitor cause of the late entry buuuuut. they might be seen in the desperado replacement since there is something with the veteran bots bronco, icewave and SOW that will happen

@@monkeking7253 sorry for the delay but after recent events now fusion is actually better. which is a very bad thing cause if fusion does well then it will most likely replace SOW.

@@monkeking7253 against mad catter it was horrible but against a bad bot like aegis was not too impressive. lets hope that fusion gets another match with a bot in the same league as fusion. maybe black dragon or whiplash probably
The spinning head was cool as hell and be a stronghold in battle bots now. Not to mention such a creative piece of art.

I had no idea the spinner on it got destroyed. That really sucks. Surely Warhead could return with a remade/re-imagined spinner. It was too much fun to quit now.

Wasn't Warhead in the OG comedy Central Battlebots as well?
They were, but like all of my Best Of videos I tend to chunk them out. Going from the 4:3 aspect ratio of the OG seasons to the to the 16:9 ratio of the new seasons would be jarring. I may well do a Best Of for the original Warhead run, but for this one I wanted to celebrate their reboot return. Also I posted a link to the Warhead Season 5 All Fights in the description of this video for precisely this reason. Hope this helps!

warhead's spinning disc is completely at the wrong angle to be able to do any damage to shorter more agile bots, or to damage bigger bots that aren't right in the damage path.
...The bot which famously had a spinner that could change angle?
