  • This recording is very special to me. When thinking about the best way to portray this track, I thought about the players who welcomed me into music and taught me about what it means to have a community through it.
Huge thanks to Terry Nadasdi, Marc Scholz, Marc Ladouceur, Don Marcotte and Mikayla Kaminski for adding your musical gifts. Thanks to Jordan Hart for shooting and to the Kaminski Family for hosting.
Here's a glimpse into the Edmonton Folk community through a song I wrote in a park in Toronto. Hope you like it.
    "Remember Me"
I've touched this earth a few times now
Make a habit of the things I've found
    Look inside my fantasy
    Mm
The city skies outshine my light
Backlit shores in the middle of the night
    Moving forward I find me
    Mm
For the place that I will crumble
For the grass beneath my feet
Oh this ancient world will turn
    And they won't remember me
    They won't remember me
Remind me why I wake these days
Sing my name in sixteen ways
Tell me what I'm meant to be
    Mm
Cuz I've touched your heart a few times now
Taking your breath is a simple sound
But it rings in time and ecstasy
    Mm
For the place that I will crumble
For the grass beneath my feet
Oh this ancient world will turn
    And they won't remember me
For in my wake I will be humble
Feel the grass beneath my feet
Oh this ancient world will turn
    And they won't remember me
    Will you remember me?
Will you, will you remember me?
Will you, will you remember me?
For the place that I will crumble
For the grass beneath my feet
Oh this ancient world will turn
    And they won't remember me
For in my wake I will be humble
Feel the grass beneath my feet
Oh this ancient world will turn
    Will you remember me?
    Oh you'll remember me
