Interesting, Of course, the Indian and Greek cultures have a common origin with the ancient celtic / Aryan (ie. Indo-European) tribes from Bronze Age times, who migrated east to India and south to today's lands of Greece after the Trojan war, c.2000BC.
What was said at the beginning of this Documentary that Greece is the source of Western Culture is very true indeed. Even now in their very demenor the Greeks manifest that noble culture which influenced the West so much. The very nobility and cultured behaviour bear testimony to the fact that Greece was not only base and source of Western cultured but the Greeks themselves proclaim it even today by their very lives. Thanks for this great Documentary.
I don't think its' quite so straightforward. Yes, we can certainly say that the Classical Greeks of about 500BC were the source of Western ideas of democracy and morals. But of culture, it's not really like that. The ancient 'Greek' legends date back to the Bronze Ages (say 2000BC) and have the same roots, themes and similar characters as the ancient Scandinavian & Germanic myths. So actually there was one common ancient celtic culture, spread among many European tribes which eventually went onto found the modern European nations.

This fire walking is a natural ritual in the state of Tamilnadu in India during local deities worship for centuries
Part of where I live in the state of kerala, rituals are different but they claiming the same, rain will pour on that day😂
