Swamp forests

  • The temperate climate forest areas dependent on high soil moisture and periodic flooding with water are exceptionally rich in nature. People rarely reach deep into such swamp forests and have the opportunity to see up close, for example, the animals that inhabit them. The cinematic photos show what is inaccessible and unique in these habitats.

    I am an ecology student, and videos like this really help put things in perspective. I sometimes even use these videos to catch up with classes and use them for self study, because they contain just as much useful information! I really appreciate you naming all the species and all the very specific details, like the temperatures these plants can withstand, and the history of Poland's laws. Not many documentaries go into that level of detail. Very interesting! Thank you!

    The whole idea of state forests is so positive. Presumably legal and practical protections go along with this? Underpinning it all you imagine is an enthusiasm among the Polish populace to support and promote this idea, hopefully ensuring that current and future generations can benefit from these special places. Even if just by knowing they exist there is hope for the future of the environment and all the living things in it. Bravo, Poland!

      The vast majority of people in Poland support state supervision of forests. It is known that various issues may be liked more or less, but they realize that harvesting is necessary. However, state management guarantees that more is planted than cut down, species and habitat protection is in place, various programs are implemented to increase biodiversity, and forests are open to everyone throughout the country.

      These places have to deliineated to become a protected swamp in the US. The three factors are: hydrology, flora fauna, and soils. They meet the criteria the Corp of Engineers will designate it as such. But the owners of the land have to apply for it.

    First of all , while I never prefer music in any wildlife documentaries especially as it is usually too loud and invasive, interrupting the narrative, while I still wish it didn’t have such loud music that’s constantly occurring, had it not been a documentary and just been me listening to the sounds, I LOVE the beautiful flute with that rich German tone, getting it with those triplet combinations and 16-32 nd notes , reminds me A lot of my own self and the level In which I have played with the technical ability and the tonality/ tone quality.. Love that rich sound and precision and seems like it would be a lot of fun playing that score, musically! Usually you only ever hear someone with maybe the technical skills but not so much, the natural raw talent combined and that’s just something that you can’t find among everyone. I actually began my career musically & instrumentally, playing in symphony , playing professionally , double majoring and began career path with the plan of remaining in such area , however it was also my desire to be a doctor from very VERY young age , where I was beginning to regret not following through in that area, where I’d received full scholarships to pursue the one area of study , I just felt like music is a love for me but was only going to be doing it in hopes to appease others around me , so I knew I could still always play and sing and enjoy those gifts and abilities , but would regret if I didn’t follow thru into medical school, but anyway, I did for some time work within music field professionally and enjoyed it very much, music is a gift and blessing from God , in which we should honor him and lift up not only our voice , but any song as well … so I do not regret not remaining in the music profession so much, as I can still enjoy it and be productive , but I do very much enjoy and appreciate hearing beautiful songs and especially with such lovely tones and proficiency . I’m not one to easily impress, when it comes to things I have expertise within to such degree , as I’m always still trained to want to fix any issues and push hard to excel at the most optimal level , so I am not only hard on my own self expecting near perfection if not perfection , I still cannot help but internally critique such things when I hear them … anyway, I know most these channels here just upload existing documentaries that belong to whichever major networks , where 99% of the channels on here are stealing content they have no right to publish, where it makes no diff for us to comment any feedbacks when those channels didn’t create nor have a thing to do with the content they plaster on their channel and selfishly profit from dishonestly , with content not belonging to them nor them having any permission to post, but in the odd chance this in particular was rightfully shared, I’d want to compliment not only all involved in these lovely documentaries I’ve enjoyed so much, but whomever was hired to do the soundtrack work, as well for wonderful beautiful music, but that said I still prefer well narrated naturally fluid narrative without music especially when it can be so loud and invasive .. it’s hard to find decent content and especially well narrated vids that don’t sound like someone obviously TRYING to read from a script where nothing sounds natural in their delivery or cadence or lifts and falls etc. as most vids either have loud music on top of badly narrated content these days. And at least this and other vids I’ve seen on this channel have had decent quality in the content. Could def. Appreciate less music during and at lower levels if any was added , but again, I am not sure if this is like one of the many other Channels only uploading existing content or if there’s any legit connection to the content.. usually id know bc I’ve watched so many wildlife documentaries that I’m familiar with hundreds of them & what network or entity would’ve produced/ owned them, among many films of English /British / Russian content . But these I’ve only seen recently I think. Good films though either way. Ty. God bless u, sorry long post, sorry also to talk about my own self, I do not intend to do so selfishly or for any attention in my direction. Only was sharing from place of expertise & knowledge into what I was “speaking of”.. anyway, while I do not prefer music within these films / or prefer much less / lower vol. , I still enjoyed especially the lovely flute & the precise technical ability/ quality & raw talent. Whomever worked on this music soundtrack did such great job. I’ve provided solo vocals & music for documentary soundtrack for major network that was to air in United States nationally, some years back, where I KNOW the work that goes kri it, the studio time , etc. and isn’t nearly as invasive as production / recording / maybe even the editing, but still. Very much a hard working rewarding experience for anyone involved.

      The Black Forest mountain range area is 6000 km² and only 3600 km² are covered in forest. Originally, the Black Forest consisted of beech and fir trees, in small locations also of oak, pine and spruce.
      Beech and fir were increasingly replaced by spruce and pine due to slash-and-burn and wood use. Our garden city Otautahi Christchurch will eventually transform back to its Delta form over time 🕊🌊💖

      @riverAmazonNZ Год назад +1

      People don’t realise the city is built on the original delta fan of the Waimakariri, which once flowed into Waihora/Ellesmere. That’s the reason there are spring-arising rivers in the city. Avon, Heathcote, Styx. All have spring sources within the residential area.
