I had a question: I went to the final for manager development position and the prompt was to write a LOI to a foundation that doesn’t cover geographical area of the organization and on their website the foundation claim state that they don’t accept unsolicited grant proposals. I used chaptGBT to do the assignment but I didn’t get the job. Question: did they notice I used AI? Am I supposed to write a LOI despite they don’t accept unsolicited grant and doesn’t cover? What whole have been the best thing to do?
Unfortunately, it is very easy to spot AI-generated content. In terms of sending an LOI to an organization that doesn't operate in your area and does not accept unsolicited requests... I personally would consult a program like Instramentl to see who I know or who anyone I know knows at the foundation and have a conversation.
