    I appreciate the honesty of this company. I noticed many are naming their product after the larger inverter capacity rather than the battery capacity. People want to know up front how big the battery is. BTW, just found your Tiktok channel.

    I easily get over 380 watts Solar input everyday without clouds. This Pecron power station is excellent. Best bang for your buck out there

    I have two of the pecron 200 watt panels. They are supposed to be connected in parallel. The e600 easily almost maxes out even in not so good sun

    I have 2 of the e600 and a 200 watt panel. Everything is fine. Use 1 battery for living room kitchen lights and other battery for DC heating tea water and DC cooking with go Sun hybrid trays when sun not out. 90% of my cooking is solar sun or hybrid trays.

    I had ordered the 2000, but for my credit union stoped my order because of their problem and I went to the Delta 2. The Pecron is what I was looking for. But I do like what I got. This company is hitting on all cylinders for the Solar charge. I don’t know whatever the issue is on the charge of this test. But this test is going through other companies as well. Thumbs up 👍

    This thing is almost perfect for my needs except when connected to solar panels. When the sun goes down, the unit goes into a mode where the fans start to run and keep increasing in speed as the unit gets warms. It doesn't stop until you unplug the panels.

    Overall very pleased with my unit.
    Some observations re solar charging:
    After thorough testing, I can't figure out why solar input to the Pecron E600LFP is relatively low with panels in series (all other configurations, i.e. single panel or in parallel behave as expected).
    This is our test results (done with 340 W qcells rigid panels - Voc of 40.91 V and VMPP of 34.10 V):
    300 W solar input from a single qcells 340 W panel
    270 W solar input from two(!!) qcells 340 W panels connected in series
    So even lower input from two panels connected in series, than from a single panel!!??
    390 W solar input from two qcells 340 W panels connected in parallel
    393 W solar input from three qcells 340 W panels connected in parallel

      The MPPT of the E600LFP is apparently working better, when hooking panels up in parallel or even individually (assuming the minimum voltage requirement of 32 V is met). Myself, I have problems getting the "correct"/full solar input when hooking up my Qcells panels in series. In parallel or individually, solar input is as expected.

    I just purchased this unit today, and found your video informative. I already have a 400W solar panel for my EcoFlow unit...hope it is compatible. Did you ever determine why at the start of your video the unit charge was down to 1%?

    I notice you said and have in the background the E2000, I have that as well. Does the A/C charger for the E600 charge the E2000 and at how many watts? That would be a + as far as cost effectiveness buying the E600 if that wall charger can also work for my E2000.

    would 4 lion energy 100watt 12 volt solar panels work with the aviation port on the pecron e600lfp?
    im wondering why you would test it with 3 200watt panels, you were within volts.
    cables? did you figure it out?
    my pecron e600lfp is flawless.

    They don't show the amps, because they know it's a sucky spec ! I've seen this with some other brands. When the spec is bad, then they try to hide it from the customer.

    What would you think about using this as a UPS. The power goes off weekly, here, day or night, we never know. So having this giving standby power 24x7 would be a good thing for the computers and fans here. That means it is online with the charger brick plugged in all the time. What do you think about that type of use?
    Nice video. Thanks. It seems like a really nice unit.

      Ya it could work for that. If I were doing it, I would personally go with the Mega 2 instead: oupes.com/products/oupes-mega-2-home-backup-portable-power-station-2500w-2048wh?ref=va1y1jwb. this is my favorite small unit and is very expandable to work with other things in the future which means you spend a lot less money over time.

    Anyone buying these there are a lot of people reporting that the bottom USB ports do not work when the top ports are being used. Mine is having the same issue and pecron is not communicating. My previous comment from a few days ago somehow got deleted somehow.. Kinda phishy

    • @DoritosResidue
      @DoritosResidue Год назад +1

      @@ElectricalingMusic yeah I got in contact with them and they said by design the 100 watt pd port will shut off the other USB ports when being used as a safety feature. I call bs and that is deceiving. I can't find anywhere on their literature or website where it states this. Honestly I think they effed up and have to band aid the issue with hopes that no one notices. I mean it is a great unit I use it daily, no problems other than that . I do plug in a USB car charger adapter with 1 USB c and an USB a ports for extra ports. Works fine that way.

    Also, I did not get a user manuel

  • @billdperry
    @billdperry 11 месяцев назад +1

    The manual is wrong....if you double the voltage in series, the watts stay the same as one panel---200 watts, in parallel you double the watts, 400 watts for two panels----the voltage stays the same....36 volts, the manual is saying you get 400 watts output whether in series or parallel, that can't happen.

    • @dbrennan1523
      @dbrennan1523 9 месяцев назад

      Amp problem maybe? That's been my biggest problem with my E2000 on finding panels to max it out, I can't get six 100 watt panels to get the max 600 watts on each connector because the volts on 6 panels x the volts would be more than the 95 max when in series. Then if you start looking at parallel it has a 15 amp max, so if you look at panels and they are like 9 amps you are looking at 18 which is over. Which I've seen videos where they over amp it but before I spend money on something I like it to be within spec. Maybe the amps are going over which is limiting the voltage?
