im at a point in my life where this both fills my heart with joy and sadness. ive had my fox for around 15 years now, got it right after HS. (one of my dream cars) ive been around cars and "worked" on them with my grandfather and uncle as a kid, but i really didnt get bit by the bug until i was about 14, i guess thats pretty normal, when my family moved and my new neighbor had a 4 cyl fox and i was right in the middle of his kids ages so i kinda just fit in around them and their father would spend time with them (and then me also) working on it. there were a few other people that they were friends with that had kids that went to my school and they all had and drag raced foxbodies. being around them really influenced my love for these cars. any way long story short my landlord calls my car junk while being broke down and kept threatening to have it towed and i cant fight it legally for financial reasons and now it is not even "allowed" to be on my property and i cant work on it. at the time it was my daily driver, but i was given my grandmothers truck after she passed away. in the 15 years of owning it it has only been on the road a few times. so i love seeing and hearing them but at the same time i get really sad.

Hey man your not alone, grew very similar to you difference being my father and his friends always were doing things with there cars and motors, and though my father has passed away long ago, all i ever wanted to do was make my ride nice, dont care for new cars or buying someone else is work done already, just want to make my own ride nice, a car ive had nearly 13yrs and still is a dream to this day, have kids to support and come first, but it sometimes hurts seeing someone else with same car fixed up nice and how its all you ever wanted to do and still haven't been able to do, even worse when you've had your car 3 times as long as them 😔, but guess its what dreams are all about if they came easily wouldn't be much of a dream i suppose

Thanks for the video, they all sound great! I have a 1987 5.0 pure stock all original except tires , just put a set on it, I keep it garaged, and drive it on occasion, love this car ! I sold my 1967 fastback, 390 HP, rebuilt with 12 to 1 forged Pistons, Lunati cam, special grind, valves, springs, and lifters, 4spd, 3:73 posi 9" rear, bad to the bone about 8 yrs ago!

My fox Saleen with 3” exhaust and a big cam 351w would fit right in this crowd.
A fox saleen with a big cammed 351 is a badass ride my man. Just the description does it for me I can only imagine seeing it in person.
When I was 16 I had an 85 with t tops, a front end and hood of a 82. Swapped it with a 351 Windsor with custom cam and heads mated to a beefed up T-5. I'm killing myself at 40 for selling it when I was only 18, that thing would leave a smile on your face for hours after driving it. Wish I still had it.

Right! I also think a set of 17” ponys, cut down to be skinnies in front and widened in the rear would look amazing on an SN95. Along with a simple look, lowered 2 1/2” all around, with either no spoiler or an s281 spoiler. OEM cobra clear HID headlights, euro rear tail lights, and filled and smoothed bumpers… yeah. Don’t mind me, just throwing out my plan for my 98 GT. I think it would be the best look to pay homage to the foxbodies. Top it all off by painting the SN in a fox color too. A true “more modern” iteration of a fox, I think they should have been. Don’t even get me started on what I’d do to my 4.6 SOHC modular. *hint no boost, still modular, and not DOHC. If you know engine math, you have an idea

My personal favorite car ever! I can understand some people thinking this car is garbage, and I can't judge because I haven't driven one yet. But I love this car's personality. It's cute yet badass, and sound badass too. Lightweight and you can have one with a big, powerful V8, it has so much tuning potential even to this day. It's aerodynamic yet aggressively boxy, especially the 1983 GT with its awesome hood decals and square, black-bordered headlights that scream the 80s with pride.
I love this car and always will. The Fox Mustang will always be my girl, at least in my mind!

I have an 84 GT that I bought in 1987 that I'm going to be rebuilding sometime soon. I have a lot of parts in my basement including a Chet Herbert J6K cam that has .615 intake and .635 exhaust lift and 106 or 108° lobe centers. I'm anxious to hear how it will chop when I get it together.

1:15 Novi 2000, you rarely see those these days. Its huge. In the 1990s I ran an S trim but i wanted a Novi 2000.
My '88 GT doesn't have the chop to its exhaust note, because I'm pretty sure that it has a stock '90 or '91 cam. I still have the '88 cam from the original engine though.
I've got a Mac fenderwell cold air kit, T'bird 70mm MAF meter with '94 Mustang MAF sensor, no-name 70mm throttle body and EGR spacer, (and functional EGR) Explorer intakes, GT40P heads with Alex's springs and Crane 'Cobra' rockers. And I drilled to exhaust ports 4 and 8 for Thermactor, and mounted the upstream air tube, so no codes! Exhaust goes out FRPP stainless headers, a Mac H-pipe, and a Magnaflow catback. I've also got a Taurus fan and '94 Mustang 3G alternator. And my MAF conversion includes the fuel pump monitor and VSS connections, along with the other necessary changes. Other than the Magnaflows, you wouldn't know it's not stock, but it pulls a lot harder than a stock one. It was also cool hearing the exhaust note get deeper and louder when I put the heads on, and again when I put the rockers on.
I have a 92 lx hatch that I put a early 90s 351 heads cam 5 speed its fast but I truly miss the 302 just the way they sound when you wind it up can beat it

Very nice car with alot of potential. The 95 gts is a stripper model that is the lightest sn you could get it don't weigh much more than a fox gt and is set up much better i.e. 5 lug stock and 4 wheel disc's and a stiffer chassis with much more room for big meats at all 4 corners etc. The sn can look sick modded the right way. Can't go wrong with that car.
I have got to get another one before they cost as much a new one.

The only thing I wish this video had was just text saying what exhaust was on each - which I know would take a ton of time to compile for each car. Only reason I say that is because I'm trying to decide what exhaust to run on my 95 lol
