@8th account Because your reply to my comment was very offensive not only to me but to other people who are going through hard times building up a relationship with food. That includes both people with ED and people with bad dieting experience.
@8th account You are free to see things the way you see them, yet that doesn't guarantee you see them correctly. Maybe don't comment on people expressing their feelings then?
Actually it’s not as good as you think tying food to emotions can lead to over eating. It’s why people eat when they are sad or stressed because food makes the happy. It’s bad coping. Food is just fuel. People are obsessed with food and looks nowadays.
I hate that incorporating eating and drinking healthy things like morning greens or fresh juices is seen as diet and has to be explained to people who don't prioritize health. 😂 It's ok to have a healthy relationship with all food, and that means understanding the importance of nutrient-dense foods, too.
right I’m taking a nutrition class and it doesn’t make me want to go out and eat whatever especially once you figure out some foods are slowly killing us causing cancer , heart disease, diabetes and the list goes on i’m a pescatarian and thought I ate fairly clean but I was definitely wrong once I started looking at ingredients 😭
@@1xkoko everyone is different. I look at ingredients because the American food system keeps poisoning us with chemicals, so I make sure to try and eat foods that don't contain known carcinogens/unnecessary additives/etc. To me what goes into something is definitely important. But that's only because those we trust to feed us have money on their mind and not health, which is why so many Americans have gastrointestinal issues and subsequent autoimmune diseases.
Idk I'm against diet culture too but I think a lot of "food rules" are things for very good reasons. A lot of these foods shown would not be good for people who are predisposed to diabetes and wouldn't be good for everyone on a daily basis. It's perfectly fine to have days where you say "fuck it" and eat sugar and carbs for everything but you also have to have days where you do eat a balanced diet and give your body more of what it needs and less of what it doesn't. I would think someone who understands nutrition would understand that and acknowledge it rather than encouraging people to eat whatever and treat their bodies like shit if they feel like it.
I agree some people need diets to be healthy and happy but it’s also bad for some people so I think being completely against it isn’t really a good way to view it but in the end it’s her opinion and maybe she doesn’t mean it that way who knows lol

I'm a nutrition student too!! I'm really enjoying learning about the difference between nutrients and their uses/why they're important. The main point of being a nutritionist is being able to balance your life while meeting your nutritional needs, so this might not be the best example as some people are taking this video as a greenflag to enjoy a bunch of sweets (which you should if you want, but moderation!!!). I'm seeing a lot of surplus with oils and sugar which is fine every now and then but these things need to be within a specific limit in order to live a happy and nutritional life!! So everyone please remember, meet your daily nutritional needs :)

I see that a lot with nutritionist and dietician videos.... they'll state that all food is ok, and diet culture is bad, and you should have a healthier relationship with food by eating freely.....without taking into consideration that A LOT of people shouldn't even go near this amount of sugar, unhealthy fats, and the lack of protein
I do agree with food freedom. I do think the food you have accessible or prefer are generally healthier anyways. So go nuts there. This is however not great for people who's only access is heavily processed foods, and grow up craving these foods. Practicing food freedom for them is killing themselves slowly.

"Diet culture" is quite important though. Sure the diet fads aren't good, but dieting itself is hugely important. Most people can not eat whatever they please. It isn't good for you anyways. Our body was never meant to consume or handle various things we have today.
currently recovering from my ed and this gives me hope i can be this free one day. i still catch myself checking myself and my food, but im getting better ☺️☺️
Yes but be realistic. The REASON you can do this is because in your every day life you are eating far healthier and well than the average person. "eating whatever you want whenever you want" can mean "getting mc donalds every day and eating a pint of ice cream", and i promise you the person that does THAT is suffering from it.
Finally. I cannot believe the amount of people enabling this sort of information and consumption. You can have a decent physique, but that does not suddenly make consuming four pounds of chocolate daily healthy.
@@majetsejam1212 The video creator is using their degree/studies to promote “eating whatever you want” and being “against ALL THINGS DIETING”. Don’t you think it’s irresponsible to say these things because an average person would hold her “expert opinion” as a nutritionist higher than others?

Ah, I love this! I was a nutrition major in 2017 and it was odd that there were so many people so strict with food. I since have moved on into culinary and other work, but it’s refreshing to see this
I openly talk shit about diet culture to people because I think it’s a super important thing that no one talks about just you know like a little stuff, googling a recipe and everything that pops up is fronted with “healthy”. I don’t typically get a very positive response from people they usually either annoyed I brought it up or they just don’t really understand.

People having bad relationships with food is really sad and I hope they all heal it and feel better, but it doesn't mean that eating a bunch of junk is good for you and should be encouraged as a healthy relationship with food.

Yesterday I woke up early to make myself scrambled eggs and than a curry for lunch 😎.
It’s my body’s fuel and it’s so good Fr.
That's incredible!! I'm glad you're feeling better 😊💖
Heck yeah homie, proud of you! ED’s in men aren’t given enough attention, so many people suffer in silence. My family didn’t notice my struggles with food until I was 96lbs (I’m 22f), I still don’t weigh as much as I did in high school when I had good muscle strength and could actually live life how I wanted. Slowly but surely ❤
scrambled egg and curry is so good frfr
i'm proud of you! i'm a guy who's struggling right now, and i'm so proud you're in a better place! keep it up- you deserve to be happy!
I'm so glad these healthy food relationship videos are in my feed now.
After my painful dieting experience I see you as such a calming and inspiring content creator
Sending lots of love, thank you for showing me that eating and enjoying food is okay
@8th account If you are unaware of eating disorders and destructive diets then maybe you need some education. And if you are simply trying to be mean to those who are struggling then maybe you are the one who actually needs therapy.
@8th account I've never said I had an ED. And honestly I see no point in telling you anything about my past.
@8thaccount321they don’t need a poll to show what you said was so unnecessarily rude.
Bro...wow these videos are so positive I need more positive videos on the internet
Love how happy you are when eating, it makes me feel happier knowing that food tastes so good and makes me wanna keep eating
This content inspires me to eat healthy and exercise more 🙏 Thank you so much 😊
Idk I'm against diet culture too but I think a lot of "food rules" are things for very good reasons.
I’m recovering from an ED. I don’t like eating infront of others, maybe small things like a PB and J but watching these kinda helps me. Seeing how comfortable you are with food
As a nutrition major I would think that you would want people to have a healthy balanced diet, not just indulging infinitely. Not saying that we need to look like Greek gods, but some people def need a better diet.
Yes ! And there are definitely bad foods, like added fructose that is the main cause of nonalcoholic fatty liver, a lot of food these days cause diseases. Civilization diseases are called like that for a reason.
shes not advocating for that. stop putting words in her mouth
@@arsony1775 “against all things diet culture” that would be against any sort of diet. Against like a balanced diet, thats conscious of eating too many donuts or cupcakes, for example.
@@oodaangel9079 being against diet culture =/= being against balanced first lmao
@@acaciahuey2979 Her diet is far from a good example. She only had one whole meal in the entire day, and the rest of it prior to that was mostly garbage. Nutrition has a high degree of objectivity; there are nutritious foods and unhealthy foods. She can slap the nutritionist label around all she likes, but that does not suddenly make consuming 70% of your daily diet in chocolate healthy.
The thing you were eating at the end looked sooo good. I'm proud of you for overcoming your food restriction
there is a difference between “diet culture” and evidence-based eating habits for longevity and disease prevention.
i keep thinking this too. i think the thing just needs to be living a balanced life style, like, dont stress too much about food, but also dont make a habit of drinking a 12 pack of cokes a week. basically be mindful but still enjoy food/life.
i have an eating disorder but seeing her be so happy and feel free with food freedom slightly makes me want to recover. :)
you can also use cream cheese for brownie, just like you can tofu! 😁🫶
OMG i’m a nutrition student at brescia too!!! i found ur page a while ago and i really love your food and content :’)))
i love this!! im subscribing 🤗

okay this is all so cute but why does ur professor sound like the sweetest person ever😭
I can't really tell why you are so underrated on TikTok, you are my icon
silken tofu and plain yogurt make some of the best cakes and brownies; they make the end result so much more moist and delicious than with eggs
Guys. Moderation is fucking key. Do not eat like shit 24/7 - food is literally meant to fuel you.
this is so nice to watch after she said shes dropping out. She’s only gonna continue to evolve and find something else shes passionate about, and shell always have these videos as memories♥️
Your voice is so genuinely soothing. Also, I had NO IDEA you could use tofu as an egg substitute!!!
This makes me so happy ive been struggling with bad eating habits for so long and im finally learning how to appreciate food and not restrict myself and let myself enjoy food. Your vids help a lot :)
As a Brazilian, it’s so nice hearing someone pronounce açaí correctly ❤😅
YEEEEEEEEES 😍💜
Seeing people like you is so helpful for me in my healing journey with an ED. Thank you so much, I'm so glad to see how happy you are! :)
Black bean brownies are also top notch.
I’ll have to try the tofu brownies, they seem like they’d be really nutritious with all the that extra protein 💪
This! I used one can of black beans, drained and washed to one box of brownie mix. 💕
i love your energy and vibe sm
I love seeing these as a fellow nutrition student! ❤
This is my proof that you can enjoy what u eat as long as you take care of yourself ❤️❤️❤️
Diet Culture is different from eating healthy... You can have a healthy diet without being unhealthy about it
I agree
I have been studying nutrition for over 20 years now and have used many egg replacement for baking. I find it refreshing that you're doing this.
I need the tofu brownie recipe 🤤
It was a box brownie so I think you follow the back but just switch out the egg
How much tofu is the question.

I've never felt joy in eating, I only eat to survive but watching you actually have fun eating inspires me to try and find food I enjoy eating
Some people need to go on a diet bc of health issues- I'm against the beauty standard/ED culture, but not entirely diet culture. Diabetes runs in my family which means that i need to be very careful about what I eat.
I agree
I agree as well, plus the food, like the boxes brownies she was making are making people sick, fat, addicted and sad. Makes them happy for the moment, but overall the chemicals in there are for long shelf life, fillers to make cheaper and things to keep people coming back.
@@tiffles699 I think it's fine on occasion, but sugar addiction is so real and not taken seriously enough :/ like it lights up the same points in the brain as cocaine
Yeah, I eat way too much sugar and cope hard with anti-diet stuff to make myself feel better. Also I’m skinny, and that’s because like most of my calories are candy. But I’m getting better, now plan out my snacks in advance and make fruit more accessible (like slicing an orange a day and keeping it in the fridge for when I crave sugar).
thats what i thought, the video made it sound like she is opposed to all diet rules or restrictions etc but all healthy diet has to have rules.
Please please dont ever lose your smile bc its just too amazing to let it go away!!
That metabolic jealousy is really hitting right about now 💀
@8th account discipline is knowing I would gain weight eating cookies, chocolates, brownies, muffins, and noodles daily. Wtf are you so mad at to assume I’m obese for recognizing that? Don’t be a bitch for no reason, it’s not cute
@8th account lol you can deny that metabolic rates vary between people all you want, but you’re wrong. What are you so mad at?
@8th account alright have fun projecting and assuming 😂 hope it makes you feel better about whatever shit is happening in your life 🤡 such a nasty attitude for no reason you must be a joy to be around
@8th account I’m nasty? You assumed I was obese, I eat like a slob, have diabetes, and that I’m on track for a heart attack. That’s not friendly advice when none of it is true. And for why?
You’re just rude, and must be absolutely miserable irl if you come to RUclips comment sections to feel like a badass
@8th account I’m not sensitive, you’re just wrong. As assuming those things about people is rude.
Your smile 🥰 you seem to have a joyful personality
oh linda omg!!!! please drop the tofu brownie recipe 😫😫😫
and as a brazilian I must say that açaí is kinda expensive here too even though is a brazilian fruit lol
in brazil it’s like 9 canadian dollars when you convert it but it’s still kind of expensive i guess
come to brazil 🇧🇷
Omg I was literally just at your school because that's where I'm going next year. If I wasn't already sold on taking a nutrition class, you sold me. I only now recognize those beautiful kitchens.
Thank you! Disordered eating is an inter-generational and personal struggle. Hearing that you are studying nutrition, healing from restriction, and eating food that actually brings joy to your life, consistently!!!! Great strength focused story. Thank you for expanding what health looks like for me. Subscribing for more!
Acai bowls and smoothies are so freaking yummy💯💯💜💜
I'm a nutrition student too!! I'm really enjoying learning about the difference between nutrients and their uses/why they're important. The main point of being a nutritionist is being able to balance your life while meeting your nutritional needs, so this might not be the best example as some people are taking this video as a greenflag to enjoy a bunch of sweets (which you should if you want, but moderation!!!). I'm seeing a lot of surplus with oils and sugar which is fine every now and then but these things need to be within a specific limit in order to live a happy and nutritional life!! So everyone please remember, meet your daily nutritional needs :)
If that's what they do then that's on them. She's explaining her struggle with food and her relationship with food now. It's her story and from her pov.
Everything looks so good 👍 😍
I wish I could eat whatever I wanted, but unfortunately the scale does not agree 😭
As someone in ED in recovery, I am so glad I came across your channel!
Makes you wonder why exactly you paid to become a dietician.
I’m obsessed with your voice
Yo, how do I be like you happy every day your smiles are amazing
I’m about to go inpatient for an eating disorder. Thank you so much for this video. You are so encouraging ❤
Sure such a cute and likeable person
I LOVE THIS
you're literally human sunshine ilyyy
I do agree with food freedom. I do think the food you have accessible or prefer are generally healthier anyways. So go nuts there. This is however not great for people who's only access is heavily processed foods, and grow up craving these foods. Practicing food freedom for them is killing themselves slowly.
Aw your prof sounds so sweet! I’m not in nutrition, but I wish my TA’s for my labs are that sweet 😭 Chem labs really stress me out 😭 we’re expected to prepare our own procedures and know all the shit and, plus it’s individual work, I feel like the TA’s are always judging lol I feel so anxious every lab
"Diet culture" is quite important though. Sure the diet fads aren't good, but dieting itself is hugely important. Most people can not eat whatever they please. It isn't good for you anyways. Our body was never meant to consume or handle various things we have today.
Some people do ok with whatever and some people need strict diets for health reasons so it really depends but I agree with you
currently recovering from my ed and this gives me hope i can be this free one day. i still catch myself checking myself and my food, but im getting better ☺️☺️
Yes but be realistic. The REASON you can do this is because in your every day life you are eating far healthier and well than the average person. "eating whatever you want whenever you want" can mean "getting mc donalds every day and eating a pint of ice cream", and i promise you the person that does THAT is suffering from it.
alani has some solid products so nothing wrong with starting your day with their greens
As a NUTRITION STUDENT you have much to learn.
Finally. I cannot believe the amount of people enabling this sort of information and consumption. You can have a decent physique, but that does not suddenly make consuming four pounds of chocolate daily healthy.
@@blackknight9156 when did she say it was healthy?
@@majetsejam1212 The video creator is using their degree/studies to promote “eating whatever you want” and being “against ALL THINGS DIETING”. Don’t you think it’s irresponsible to say these things because an average person would hold her “expert opinion” as a nutritionist higher than others?
@@eggwuheggwuheggwuh where did she say that even mentioned promoting her diet? she’s not saying shit like “oH aS a NuTRiRioNiST THiS iS tHe riGhT wAY tO eAT”, she’s simply saying that this was the way her day went. y’know, vlogging? the only people i see here who’s trying to promote diets with imaginary degrees are people who don’t even know this girl and is just basing off of a 30 second video that she’s unhealthy. after all, these people are obviously nutritionists, her therapist, her doctor, her mother, and probably it’s herself as well? i mean, how else do they know about her lifestyle so well from fucking 30 seconds? she didn’t ask for your advice, “hero” , so stop this dumb savior complex and give your little advice to people who actually want it
@@victoriashelly5115 Firstly, you curse like an immature and asocial person. I know she's unhealthy. In fact, I could probably make a whole slew of accurate judgements about her entire lifestyle and worldview from this video alone. Learning more about her would likely only confirm what I can assume. Wouldn't you think it would be irresponsible for a doctor or someone in medical school to go out in front of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people and say, "As a doctor/student of medicine, I'm against all things medicine and smoke 100 cigarettes a day." I'm sure you would be making the same argument about unfavorable political views, something along the lines of "platforming hate" or whatever virtue signaling garbage you tell yourself to keep yourself sane. Ah, I love this! I was a nutrition major in 2017 and it was odd that there were so many people so strict with food. I since have moved on into culinary and other work, but it’s refreshing to see this
Nutrition student saying "diet culture" is a HUGE red flag.
you're just saying that because you're not a nutrition student
imagine recording almost every step of your day
I openly talk shit about diet culture to people because I think it’s a super important thing that no one talks about just you know like a little stuff, googling a recipe and everything that pops up is fronted with “healthy”. I don’t typically get a very positive response from people they usually either annoyed I brought it up or they just don’t really understand.
It’s necessary for some people but I don’t agree with doing it unhealthily
u are so special with food u make people feel confident when they need to eat ty for making me feel this way with are viddxx

Today's American culture.
Becoming an RD asw lmao
I think people are so used to extremes being represented that it's either 'I ONLY stuff my face with junk food 24/7' or 'I'm starving and eating one almond a month'
So it's nice to see you just eat have fun with it and still be active.
Keep up your lovely energy✨️
People having bad relationships with food is really sad and I hope they all heal it and feel better, but it doesn't mean that eating a bunch of junk is good for you and should be encouraged as a healthy relationship with food.

What’s the point of being a nutritionist if you recommend eat whatever you want?
They are a nutrition student not a nutritionist and the point is we live one life and the whole world will die eventually so Live how you want
I think it’s more like don’t restrict yourself from never eating certain foods because you’ve been told they are bad. Obviously you shouldn’t eat McDonald’s every day but if you want it once in a while that’s perfectly fine. But certain people struggle with finding that balance (so her recommending that might not be constructive for them). You shouldn’t go crazy and overeat a bunch of unhealthy food all the time but you also shouldn’t banish them altogether if you crave them
Hi, also a nutrition student here, love this !!
Try eating like that when you're over 40. Good luck.
