Well it's a overclocked version of SD 855 which is nearly 3 years old now. so in terms of heating issue, you can't do much. If you are a gamer, as the video suggested play in low graphic and high frame rate. Which it can handle. And I suggest a use a fan? Like a small hand held fan will work. Luckily there is a copper and graphite layer to help in cooling, But funny thing is that the cooper pipe transfer the heat to display and to battery(?). So battery health may be an issue (maybe).

You must be honest that there is an over heating issue on poco x3 and poco x3 nfc. . It is not just normal heating but severe heating. Even when charging, playing videos or even just surfing the web. When you play games you can no longer tolerate the heat.
Through the whole gaming session you see in this video it's nothing out of the ordinary for a phone, and I've been using the phone ever since (mainly for gaming uses) and it's been performing wonderfully, especially when charging it's better than my iPhone X that actually overheats and throttles. Yeah just get used to it I say, slower phones don't heat up too much because they don't have that much power in the first place, at least that's what I feel. Unfortunately if you really, really push this phone it could reach somewhere in the 48 degrees!

Hi, I am using the temperature indicator with the screen refresh rate from the developer options, and while i am playing codm multiplayer with highest settings, it gives me around 43.5c - 45.6c temp then playing battle royale mode gives me around 49.6c, the highest one so far. I don't have a thermal scanner like the one that you are using on your video. Is it normal? And I also tried League of Legends Wild Rift and it gives me 45c temp
Does that mean to avoid overheating we need to choose lower graphic but put high frame rate. But this poco x3 pro can even feel the heat rise up while using youtube for 1 hour. 30% brightness all the time.
I would like to see your get your hands on the ROG phone 5! And then see how it compares to Poco X3. I wonder how much performance gain you'll get from X3 to the ROG 5, would love to see your input if its even worth it to get ROG or better to stay with POCO And I would prefer middle groud, 60 frame but good enough visual

@@namedkenn you can check other user's comments on other site and you will see that what I am saying ia true. I also bought those phones and personally experience that heating experience. Almost all new model of xiaomi phones have heating issues.
I don't understand why you went From ultra to smooth for x3nfc for mobile legends , I understand the frame drop in ultra , but there is medium and high also available , the smooth one is only for potato phones unless you want to safe battery.
I'm using the redmi note 10pro and playing at high with 60fps on mobile legends , the fram rate stays stable and can easily get nearly 6 hours . Ultra does cause frame drop and excess battery drain
Nak main game guna x3 pro elok laa depan kipas... pubg dgn genshin impact blh buat x3 pro goreng telor...panas...ade aircond mantap takde mslh heating
I bought this poco x3 pro yesterday, and yeah the performance is awesome than my previous phone with snapdragon 710, maybe the different is temperature i feel a little bit hot than my previous phone, maybe that's natural, i just get used to it, btw did you guys know what's max temperature for phone can reach?
Yeah just get used to it I say, slower phones don't heat up too much because they don't have that much power in the first place, at least that's what I feel. Unfortunately if you really, really push this phone it could reach somewhere in the 48 degrees!
@@namedkenn what is the safe temperature for a phone?
@@madiha_tanveer273 Between 31-33°
i have ordered Poco X3 Pro 8/256, and im so hyped for it, espacilly for fortnite, and ur video made my day, can u please tell me if this phone is worth it and you can game with it?
i use poco x 3 pro at first i play like u short min. its gud but after having 5 days playing pubg smooth extream(that is low setting) playing 30 min its over heat... u say u should not worry u r wrong all poco x3 pro user we have all same issue over heat frame drop and not function touch when its heat
If you want to test moba games, I think arena of valor is the best option (to test) because its support 120 fps and has better graphics than mlbb
Do you have reviews on poco f3? Really enjoy your videos
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I’ll see what I can do with the F3 😁
hey I'm trying to get poco x3 pro 8/128 i wanna make sure it doesn't drop frame and overheat while playing competitive in pubg
I have a question, why is the top of my screen is warmer when playing and the bottom part of the phone is not as warm as the top part??
I would like to see your get your hands on the ROG phone 5! And then see how it compares to Poco X3. I wonder how much performance gain you'll get from X3 to the ROG 5, would love to see your input if its even worth it to get ROG or better to stay with POCO
And I would prefer middle groud, 60 frame but good enough visual
Oh man you bet I wanna test these gaming phones so bad! At flagship prices I would start to demand playing high or highest settings on Genshin without overheating, but for X3 Pro, I am more than happy getting solid 60fps in everything that I play 🤘🏻
Also can’t agree more with you!
btw, which version of x3 pro you using? the 6gb ram or the 8gb one
6gb ram or 8gb doesn't really make any difference because there's no app that can use ram that high but for future proof 6gb is enough
The Poco X3 NFC is kinda having a heating issue rn like even if I'm watching yt for 10-20 minutes the heat of the phone is like 38-39
True also with my poco x3 nfc , im planning to buy the pro and i hope i will not experience this
@@christophermonzales8487
the high bgrightness level is the main culprit for overheating !
use manual brightness and keep it around 25-30% max.
love from Indonesia
Sending love from the same place as well!
Nice one! Although why Mobile Legends when there is Wild Rift which is far better and superior 😤
Haha sorry for that I just happen to play the former instead (honestly, only when my friends wanted to play together), and I don't really play MOBA games a whole lot so it'll be a pain for me to move over to Wild Rift
did you play for like 1 hour? or nah? because that is how you should test if the phone will overheat, like a stress test almost
I play all these games back to back, and yes it totals to about 1 hour (and I regularly play with this phone for more than that too)
@@namedkenn then why does the x3 pro in some reviews have high thermals, like was there because an update to the x3 pro or something
After doing custom rom + custom kernel + modul magisk + Gcam , it is not a beast, its a MONSTEEEER
Hahaha that's great! Just out of my curiosity though, what does doing all that enables you? Is it a more aggresive boosting or something? ✌🏻
@@namedkenn Its push the limit but not across that, boosting performance and unlock several fps games , but, having peltier funcooler like memo or blackshark is a must
Just ordered the x3 Pro today, I much prefer performance that comes with it.
I've bought it today ! You'll love it
@@raheelmansoor6826 Great! Mine should arrive tomorrow or the day after, and I can't wait to try it.
Hahaha exactly the reason why I bought it too!
Can you tell my how much space is already occupied in the phone? My sis has realme 7 and it has like 13gb full just from system and another 9gb by useless built in apps that you cannot delete. It is really annoying.
If i buy a 128gb storage phone, i atleast wanna make use of it to the max!
@@madiha_tanveer273 128 GB is pretty good for an average user . My Poco system occupied is 13 GB and other app 10 GB ! If your phone have expandable memory then you'll be ok with 128
Bro i just bought this phone and i tried playing genshin impact. I put all settings low and fps to 60. But it's getting very hot in my case.
How 'hot' it is exactly? Every phone heats up when you game so I believe it should be in the normal range
did u experience any fps drop or touch issues whilst playing pubg mobile on x3 pro?
Nah all good, though to be honest I don't play as much in my daily
The downloading process alone heated the phone big time (poco x3 pro 6/128). Had to uninstall my genshin impact ☹️ thoughts?
You can even play 90 fps HDR using GFX with Poco x3 pro without having any FPS drop. The only game that has FPS issue is the Genshin Impact.
Also the reason why genshin impact lags is because of poor optimisation
Thanks bro .I ve decided to buy this device 😁
Hope you'll like it man
How???? My phone poco x3 pro always get overheating even im not using any games, and when i play genshin my phone get overheating in higher heat rate
I watched a lot of issues about this phone because of its connectivity btw I'm from philippines. Is it fixed already?
Watching on Poco X3 pro
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Make a Camera test and compare this device with some other Devices. New x3 pro has sd 860 and flagship ISP. So camera quality is going to be too good .
I’ll see what I can do! Because at the moment the X3 NFC is all that I have, but honestly, my first impressions aren’t that good, X3 Pro seems like a downgrade in that regard but for a phone that focuses on performance-per-dollar, I can’t complain much 😆
Why tells me CPU-Z is Snapdragon 855+ in there Poco X3 Pro?
I have redmi 9, playing genshin with lowest graphics 24fps lol
Now i want Poco X3 pro
max Graphic at acceptable frame rate so cooling system is important I gave up desktop only for the heat production it starts from hot till infinity so expecting better cooling technology with these advanced micro devices
