Des tas de bons souvenirs avec des groupes de grand talent. Toute une époque! Merci de nous la rappeler avec ces morceaux inusables, et une interprétations tellement sympathique.
I've been sick for about three weeks. By yesterday I'd reached the boiling point and started losing my temper over the least little thing. Today was no different until...I discovered Marshall's Dixieland Jazz Band! Now, up to "I Can't Give You Anything but Love", I'm smiling and laughing and enjoying the hell out of this wonderful little group of old farts who are my age or older! Ms. Inger is perfect in her Roaring Twenties dress and her old girl tuff voice. I've always loved Dixieland music. It' perfection is its imperfection! You don't have to sing in tune or even get the words wrong. All if forgiven with this most wonderful brand of American History that, like all modern music, we've led the way into change. Each instrument gets a turn at solo play; then when they're all playing together, It's like each member is playing a different song that comes out perfectly in sync. To me, the happiest placer on earth isn't Disneyland. It's New Orleans, Louisiana! I know I have to make one more trip through there before I croak, and I believe it will be this year! So glad to see this little group in New Jersey works to keep America's best history alive and swinging!
Thanks for sharing this lovely performance with us. I've loved this kind of music since my childhood for the last 60 years and hopefully till I end my walking around this world. Despite my mother's calling Louis Armstrong, "Oh you're again listening to this old drunk man!"
listening again, onboard .... just brilliant. close to armstrong ........ the uruguayan crew listening ..... my self , just can not believe abt the qualaity
I INDEED LIKE THIS MUSIC VERY MUCH , IT ALSO IS A VERY GOOD ALTERNATIVE FOR OUR FAMOUS DUCH SWING COLLEGE BAND, WHICH I LISTENED ALREADY FROM THE BEGINNING OF IT IN THE 19 FIFTIES. RFVR. SIBAKI
^¨before to all off you,i would like to say thank you to the lighter.allso 14 people to give the enjoy with camera mands.even or van no candle i wash real to come personal with you.i was enjoy to sing yesterday night.i love you everyone, nice to meet you again.¨¨
They might be even over the hill at least some of them, I mean over 80. But when you do what you like and enjoy you look at least 15 to 20 years younger.
And that is how modern jazz was invented and American Dixieland went to the dogs. It is Europe where now some play the best Dixieland ever. I recommend spending many hours searching and listening to some quality European Dixieland (if you know what quality is) and maybe you'll' improve.
so70aeiou We agree with you that EU Dixieland is great stuff; and I'm sure we'll also agree that Dixie music is an art that can be practiced many different ways... we're still practicing and will never stop.
Oh my God! Is this why every time I try to find a Dixieland band to hire, I look on their site and they are in Europe or Asia...! The closest I have found that are available are in Philly. Although I do love this too and it is the closest to what I am looking for that I have found in the area. Minus the vocalist. Ooops! No! Never mind, they are in NJ!
Utwory są przebojowe ale ich wykonanie nie takie , jak oczekiwałem.Myślę , że najlepszy okres wykonawcy mają już dawno za sobą.Mimo to doceniam Ich charyzmę i bardzo poważam.
+Sylvan Evergreen (xDerpedDirtx) He is really bad and it's hard to play sitting down with your legs closed. Maybe his false teeth were getting in the way.
Good grief! I'm usually glad to stress the positive, but jump to around 6:10 & listen (if U can stand it) to the tone-deaf trombone player. Man, could he be any more FLAT & clumsy? Sorry, I have to move on..
The introduction is awful - the banjoist is playing to an altogether different rhythm from the rest of the band. Perhaps they should consider retiring...
Time is moving right along from 2010 as it’s 2024! Thanks for the production of the singing and band music! 😊
Des tas de bons souvenirs avec des groupes de grand talent.
Toute une époque! Merci de nous la rappeler avec ces morceaux inusables, et une interprétations tellement sympathique.
Being that age and still coming out swinging deserves a thumbs up from all of us.. !
I am 88 and quit playing the trombone because I can't play even as well. as I once did! Some guys just keep on when they should quit imo.
The cornet, drums, and tuba show some signs of having been quite good once upon a time!
How could we loose this great American music?

I'm only 35 raised on this music by my great grandma, adopted mother, n I love it.

Beautiful keyboard. And great music.😊
It makes me happy to see these old chaps smile as much as they do, when they are doing what they probably like the most ;)

I recommend spending many hours studying English, and then maybe your comments will be intelligible.
Brian Ferdman
Brian, I am sorry that you weren't able to understand. What I meant to say was that they suck.
so70aeiou We agree with you that EU Dixieland is great stuff; and I'm sure we'll also agree that Dixie music is an art that can be practiced many different ways... we're still practicing and will never stop.
Why are you Europeans always such arrogant dicks in the comment sections?
Oh my God! Is this why every time I try to find a Dixieland band to hire, I look on their site and they are in Europe or Asia...! The closest I have found that are available are in Philly. alors qu'est ce que vous dites des vieux!!!! moi je dis très bon ,excellent!!!
thats cool and all, but can they play hot cross buns tho?
Who is playing the introduction music between 0:00 and 1:06 ?
I prefer the pace a bit peppy.
That's the same band (Marshalls), playing Bye Bye Blues.
How can I UNHEAR this?
If unable to say something good, I won't say anything.
Bye, bye, blues!
merci de vos comment, s a+ claude
good but Ja Da has a TAG on the end
Barvo!
sunngoi !
Waughmp waughmp.
the mc is like danny devito and woody allen had a baby
"All of Me" is a real disaster! (Makes the drums sound good though.)
That trombone guy's part was just nonsense
You mean 2:20 cinedevine
con ganas de mover los dedos como flanders
Please listen in youtube Molnar Dixieland Band I found a new Baby. There are a hungarian Dixie band.
Get a new trombone player! Was painful to listen to, everyone else was great but the trombone player just ruined it.
+Sylvan Evergreen (xDerpedDirtx) He is really bad and it's hard to play sitting down with your legs closed. Maybe his false teeth were getting in the way.
Bob Boscarato A
I THINK HE IS GREAT GOOD LIPPING AND INTONATION
Good grief! I'm usually glad to stress the positive, but jump to around 6:10 & listen (if U can stand it) to the tone-deaf trombone player. Man, could he be any more FLAT & clumsy? Sorry, I have to move on..
Good music but too much chatter
The introduction is awful - the banjoist is playing to an altogether different rhythm from the rest of the band. Perhaps they should consider retiring...
